Crystal Children reflect the new generation that has come to the Earth plane after the Indigo Children. They are approximately ages 0 through 5, although some members of the first wave of Crystal Children are as old as 7. sorry, but this lil teeeeeeny weeeeny book was a dud- not enought meat to chew and not enought o help any mom who is opening her eyes to who her special child is.....it needs to be more...dont bother with this one, there are many better out there to help you understand about this new generation of highly spiritual, highly funtioning crystal, rainbow and indigo children.

Sú to výnimočne nadané deti so špeciálnymi vlastnosťami a vyžadujú si primeraný slobodný prístup. I was drawn to this book in a metaphysical shop & when I picked it up & flipped through it I was amazed to find how accurately it described my youngest child.. And since have confirmed he is in fact a crystal. I see reviews dismissing the labeling of souls according to aura color; I don't think of it in terms of aura- either crystals or indigos- but rather the soul's level of awareness, their energy, higher connection to source & the mission they came here to fulfill. Crystals have a very magnetic, loving energy that can be very comforting & healing. No two are exactly alike: some see Angels & spirits, others have an innate knowledge of the divine & the love & one-ness from which we came, & some have access to their gifts that others do not, such as healing, working with crystals (as in stones) etc. Most of us have forgotten who we are & that we are not separate but all connected. Following the indigos, who are the warrior spirits, the trailblazers who came to tear down the dysfunctional system & outdated paradigms, the Crystals are here to remind us of that, & they come in love & peace to raise the vibrations of the earth & restore us to our true nature. They also help facilitate awakening of our own gifts & abilities that we have forgotten, as my son has done for me. This book is indeed interesting & a good read. It has helped with some questions & issues I've had with my son, but as others have mentioned, it is a bit lacking & is in no way a comprehensive resource of information on crystals, but provides enough info to inspire further exploration on the subject & tips for how to help your crystal child. The accounts of specific crystal children as shared by their parents is helpful, but it is unfortunate that it is the bulk of the book. Some of this is good, as I found myself nodding & saying yes, my son is like that as well! But needs more to accompany that IMO. It's the only book I have read on crystal children, as there isn't a lot out there on it. I have read a great book on indigo adults that goes much more in depth & provides great insight, history & information, which I resonated with strongly. All in all, if you are interested in the topic of crystal children, it is not a waste of time to read, but further reading & research would be helpful. It's a good starting point, there is also quite a bit of info online. I'd like to see more out there about rainbow children, which is the newest type of star child incarnating in the world today. Unfortunately at this time, not a lot is known about this new variety of souls.

A MUST READ

Doreen Virtue is a fabulous writer and was indeed inspired by God to write such a wonderful book. I am a proud aunt of a very special crystal boy. This book has given me priceless information and wisdom to understand why my nephew does the things he does. I'm grateful for the knowledge, wisdom and tools Doreen Virtue shares in her book. I highly recommend this book to everyone in this planet.

I'm an Indigo Adult myself. This was really a great parenting guide to help me understand my kids. I can see both crystal and indigo traights in my seven year old daughter. Even my two years, since he was in the womb.

A little ‘bleh’!

As you all know I’m into the esoteric, but I didn’t really understand the point of this book. It didn’t feel like there was any substantial evidence ( scientific and non scientific) to prove Doreen’s point of a special new breed of children. It just felt very sensationalistic with examples of parents who we’re trying to label their children as special; parents picking up on normal things that children do, but seeing what they want to see.


Not worth a read or a rating. Luckily, I only paid 0.50p for it from a specialist store in Stroud.

This book did mainly consist of quotes/info/tips from other parents, but did also have a lot of good info, even if I’ve heard most of it before. I think this was a great little read for what it is- it’s a small, short book and not meant to go in a lot of depth.

I really liked the first chapter of the book, but the remaining chapter were a little disappointing...
It is informative, and it is valuable considering the scarce literature available on the topic, but it is very vague and based very much on assumptions... I understand that, considering the subject, it is very hard not to be based on assumptions, since its not a topic you can discuss based on any scientific research. But, what really bothered me was that the author did not even try to cross her research with any other valid information. She actually did not make any research besides compiling various testimonies from parents who believe their children are crystal.
Although parents are obviously the ones who are more entitled to talk about their children, I don't think that Doreen should base the facts of her book solely on the parents' opinions, which are undoubtedly effected by their own emotions towards their children. For ex, a mother tells how impressed she is that animals are very attracted to her daughter, because once they were in the Zoo and the lioness walked to them and stared at her daughter. And from that the author concludes that animals are very attracted to crystal children. So, although her statement may be true, the story she bases herself on doesn't really tell anything.
Besides parents' testimonies, Doreen claims she receives information from her angels. That can mean anything from dreams to visions, or even her own opinion of the topic.
In summary, the book is interesting, and you actually do get very impressed with some of the testimonies on these children, but the author could have made some more valuable research to support her ideas.

I bought this to read because four different strangers in one day told my husband and I that our youngest daughter appeared to be a Crystal Child. We had no idea what they were talking about, but the more we looked into it, the more I hoped to find answers about her - she's a bright but challenging child. I did not find that in this book - but rather suspect that my 9 YO may be the Crystal, and perhaps my young one is a straggling Indigo.

In any event, I don't care for the way this book is written - there are far too may vague examples and scenarios to be convincing. The subject matter is interesting; the presentation left me with more questions than answers.

In this book, Doreen Virtue deals with the Crystal souls being born into our world at this moment.

This is the 2nd time I have read this book, and it reads much different when you actually have a child in the home. There were lots of little things I missed and lots of advice from actual moms that can be used.

This is not a book I would recommend to anyone, and I did find the book lacking in several areas. It is a small read though, and I am guessing it is mainly an intro into some of her other works that would (hopefully) deal with this subject more extensively.
