Cole For Christmas

Rate this book
When Interior Designer Chloe Craig imagined Christmas, her mind overflowed with boisterous family gatherings, trees trimmed in twinkling lights, and doorways adorned with mistletoe. Using her infectious joy, she was determined to soften the heart of her new employer, Mr. Cole, and to bring warmth and cheer to his cold Aspen home.

New to Aspen, Chloe was resolute to start fresh, shaking off a past relationship betrayal. She saw the Cole assignment as her ticket to establish herself professionally, and despite the magnetic lure of Mr. Tall, Dark, and Delicious, she knew to keep her distance.

For real estate mogul, Elias Cole, a broken heart had vetoed celebrating Christmas for years. More Scrooge than Kris Kringle, he was desperate for help so he hired Chloe Craig to bring the once-loved Christmas joy to his home.

But when his personal life fell apart, he needed more than a decorator. He needed a miracle, and her name was Chloe.

Sometimes desire is simply too irresistible to give into, and attraction too hard to ignore. While some girls get presents for Christmas, others get Cole. Could a little Cole for Christmas be Chloe’s wish come true?

I received this book from the Author Kelly Collins for a honest review, so here is my honest review of this book.

I gave this book 5 stars!!!

This book will put you in the Holiday spirit!!! From the start you will love CiCi and her spit fire ways. By the end you will be loving Elias and his good heart ways. I even fell in love with the secondary characters.

Elias hires CiCi to decorate his home for the Holidays. When Elias girlfriend breaks up with him. He asks CiCi to pretend to be his girlfriend, so his parents will think that he is happy.

CiCi agrees to be Elias girlfriend but along the way she starts to fall in love with him.

Everything is going according to plan until a unexpected visitor shows up.

Can Elias tell Cici the truth or will he just break her heart?

Kelly has a writing style that keeps your attention and makes you not want to put down the book. She writes beautiful love stories and I can't wait to read more from her.

5 cheerful holiday stars for Cole for Christmas

I had the pleasure of beta reading Cole for Christmas by Author Kelly Collins.

I instantly was hooked from the first few pages. I found Chloe to be a spitfire but very down to earth and loving. Mr. Cole was in need of last minute help from Chloe in decorating/celebrating Christmas for his visiting family. The job was everything Chloe dreamed of and had ever wanted. However it turns out she got more than she could have ever imagined.

Granted I read this book in July, but it totally put me in the Christmas spirit. I'm certain it'll do the same for you. I highly suggest this book to everyone. Also it will be released in a box set soon and I'm excited to read the other books that are included in the box set.

Yes, you have read correct.....a Christmas book and it's not even the first December......*gasp*……what is the world coming too?? I can only blame the weather.....

Cute, fluffy, insta-love romance with enough seasonal cheese to warm the heart of a gingerbread man.

Easy "Hallmark" read.

I am so into christmas romance at this moment and I am already in holiday mood. It is weird but reading this books makes me happy. This book is brilliant. It is very well written and very funny. it all starts very innocent and funny and I was laughing and smiling a lot. THen it all gets complicated and sweet followed by more sweet and complicated and then well we all know how it ends… I like how this book is written, its the story line and how one thing leads to another in a natural way and the reaction of the characters in the book is so real that this story could be taken from real life. When you get the feeling off peaking into somone else life, then its a good book. I really feel for Cici and for Elias in an incredible way.

I am a christmas lover and loves everything about christmas and love to spread christmas joy to people around me so I see myself a lot like Cici and still I spend a lot of time with people who just hates Christmas, So this story is a bit of my life, How I already is thinking and planning christmas and they are fed up with just the thought of christmas is a few months away. Finding parts of you in books is important and I tend to do it in all books I read. There is so much of Cici in me, the love for christmas, her will of proving herself, moving away for some reason and so on. I have done the same and I still think I will do the same. I just wish I could celebrate christmas in a white wonderland like Aspen, even if I dont like skiing.

This is a lot more than a normal sensual christmas story. Christmas is in the center and it is a romance and a good love story but the storyline is different and good. This book has a good story that is hard to come by, the sex is not the center like in so many other books when it comes to Christmas romance books, even if of course there is part of it in the book.

I can really recommend this book to other. It is bloody brilliant and I will read it again. When I started reading I couldnt stop so I read it in one go. THe book is that good. Buy it, you will never regret it.

Chloe Craig is desperate for any design job she can get after struggling to make it in the ski town she has escaped to. She accepts a job to transform Mr.Cole's house into a winter wonderland in just 3 days before his family arrives. When her temp arrives she quickly puts him to work helping her with the house.

Elias Cole does not believe in the Christmas spirit but is very impressed with how his house has been transformed by the talented Chloe. He is instantly attracted to her but she will not cross that relationship line with a boss.

Will Elias and Chloe allow their feelings for each other to grow and when Elias gives Chloe another job will she take it or reject it based on her heart?

When Elias's family arrives and embrace Chloe will the truth come out?

This is such a sweet Christmas story that embraces the meaning of finding love when you least expect it. I loved Elias's family - especially Gretchen and Grandma!

Elias is one of a kind and his heart is huge!! Yet he is also cautious after having it broke a few times! I completely understand the hesitancy with Chloe wanting not to have a relationship with her boss after what she has gone through in her past.

Great Christmas love story!!

***** "Cole for Christmas" by Kelly Collins

What a magical holiday story. Fun, interesting, engaging and wonderfully joyful.

Chloe Craig, known as Cici, is an interior designer. She is a fun character who is not afraid to say what she is thinking, Is somewhat set in her ways, particularly with her job, yet is flexible and willing to help when needed. She is the perfect person for Elias Cole.

Elias hired Cici to decorate his house in order to have it be a truly magical and enjoyable and memorable Christmas for him and his family. He just wasn't planning on his not really girlfriend/girlfriend to break up with him the day before his family converged on his home.

After Cici has helped him on another project, as an employee, Cole asks if he can pay her to take the role of his girlfriend while his family there. She reluctantly agrees...

No one was planning on falling in love, the vegetarian having to cook a roast, the girlfriend/non-girlfriend randomly showing up...and a few other random events.

The Cole family is awesome and all people you will fall in love with. And Cici and Cole will make you laugh, smile, and root for them all the way. And of course bring the spirit of the holidays to your home.

A wonderful, fun and a definite must read.

This is the most wonderful feel-good Christmas book. Once I started it, I just had to keep reading it, even if it was late into the night. I would love to have a lot of Cole for Christmas. Elias Cole is the most perfect man: sexy, kind, a gentleman, loves his family, and really good in bed (and in the shower and in the tub). I also really like Cici. She puts everything she has into everything she does, even if it means cooking a cow, even though she is a vegetarian. My two favorite parts are the beginning when Cici gets the help she needs to decorate Mr. Cole's house, and the Christmas gift at the end that she receives. I am not going to say anymore, because you need to read this one yourself. I received this book as a gift, and I am so happy that I did. I then voluntarily reviewed it. Whether it is Christmas or not, I highly recommend that you read this book.

This set the perfect holiday mood for me. Cici loves Christmas and the only thing she wants more than to succeed as an interior designer is to share the magic of Christmas. Cole has had some unpleasant experiences with this time of year which means he's not a big fan of holiday. A couple of cases of mistaken identity later - one by accident, the other completely on purpose - and Cici's spending Christmas with Cole and his family in place of his girlfriend. When these two forget they're acting, they're the cutest thing ever together. Cole shows her she's worth so much more than she's been accepting in relationships. And Cici shows him that at Christmas, magic really can happen.

I absolutely loved this novella. Once again Kelly Collins crafts a beautifully written story with characters that you can relate to and fall in love with. There's humour, romance, steamy bedroom action as well as lashing of Christmas spirit. I'll be re-reading this one nearer the festive season to remind me of all the reasons I - like Cici love Christmas.

Felt like a Scrooge reading this one. I think I could've enjoyed this better, but I found the first half monotonous. Like, I don't know, narrating the actions but not the story kind of thing? I also didn't get a feel for either Chloe or Elias until near the end.

Such a great book. Chloe Craig and Elias Cole have both had bad relationships. Elias hires Chloe to decorate his house for Christmas. Chloe mistakes Elias for the temp she hired to help her decorate. Such an enjoyably sweet story.

What a fun Christmas read. I fell in love with the characters early on and lived this story with them. The highs and the lows, the happiness and sadness. I grinned for hours and didn't want to put it down.

I so enjoyed this story and just had to post a review. Chloe Craig, aka CiCi, has moved to Aspen to open her own interior design business. She is thrilled when she is finally hired to prepare real estate mogul Elias Cole’s home for Christmas. His family is coming to visit and he wants it to be special. His former girlfriend was to handle everything, but she has moved on and out of his life. When CiCi arrives to begin set up, her hired help finally arrives and she immediately puts him to work. What will she do when she learns that her “help” is the owner of the house? They share an immediate attraction and she agrees to help him with his plans for his family. What will happen when his ex-shows up at the door? A totally enjoyable romantic comedy, with some laugh out loud moments, and a great way to spend some time forgetting about the worries of the day. Will Chloe get Cole for Christmas? Loved it! (by paytonpuppy)

very sweet with a nice touch of heat

Cici is trying to establish herself as an interior designer in Aspen and Cole desperately needs someone to transform his home for Christmas. There is a little misunderstanding to start with, but it doesn’t stop them from becoming friends. When Cole needs more help for Christmas Cici agrees to help by pretending to be his girlfriend. To be honest this doesn’t last long as they are very attracted to each other and just seem to click. Things get a little complicated along the way and they are pulled apart, but luckily it’s not for long. I really liked both main characters and the family feel to the story.

This is a fantastic book! That being said, it is just after Christmas, I wanted to relax, read a “feel-good” book, and, chose this one. What a great time reading, smiling and cheering on the hero and heroine. Thanks for the Christmas and family story. I loved the characters Cici and Elias; and, I especially loved family and the handmade slippers.
