Peace becomes elusive on the Sewanee Mountains in this first installment of Kay Velarde s thrilling Sewanee Mountain Quilt Mysteries series. Stella Hill knows her mother Cele is many things, but a criminal isn't one of them. However, with the untimely death of Tom Billings, that belief is difficult to prove. Now Stella must not only save her mother's quilt business, but her life. Taking over Cele's quilt camp is harder than it looks for novice quilter Stella, leaving her to wonder what is more challenging: tracking down the true culprit or staying ahead of her mom's savvy students?
A parte un paio di scene fantozziane e una protagonista che tende a mettersi nei guai, il libro non mi è dispiaciuto, pur avendo capito subito chi fosse il colpevole.
Enjoyed this one. I don’t know if the heroine was accident prone or just unlucky, but she ended up battered and bruised in nearly every chapter, she is definitely a survivor.
