The path to happiness is full of struggle and obstacles. How we handle those obstacles is what defines us as a person. James' life was no exception to this...

James was home for college gearing up for what was supposed to be a normal family vacation. If college wasn't stressful enough, James was dealing with the emotions of discovering his true sexuality. A trip to the mountains seemed like the perfect escape from his life. Unfortunately for him, the trip would only complicate his life further.

While taking a hike in the woods, James is confronted by a wild pack of wolves. With no where to run or hide, his life was in danger. Suddenly, he is rescued by a mysterious wolf. This mysterious and brave wolf turns out to be someone he knows, and someone he couldn't stand.

James' discovers a new world full of things he once thought impossible, including a man getting pregnant....himself.

The Omega's gift is a stand-alone novel full of twists and surprises. The content can at times be steamy and is not for the faint of heart.

Not my favorite thing I've read from this author…I just didn't care for how the relationship was between the characters and wasn't sure how to feel about what was happening. Also? The free story has been a "free story" in another book, so I'm just not a fan of the gimmick of "something free" haha

Full disclosure I only read the sample, but I did read other reviews and based upon that information decided not to buy the book or d/l from my KU membership.

First up, if you like your shifters faithful and with their "fated mate," this will NOT be the book for you. The main character who gets pregnant by an old classmate who bullied him (great enemies to lovers trope) CHEATS with some other random dude mid-way into plot, while knowing he's pregnant with his mate's baby.

That is a do not pass go, do not get $200 no-no for this reader. I love shifter books, but when I read a romance book, even ones with erotic undertones, I want just the two love interests together. Plus, if you look at the cover, there are only two men on it, not three, so the implication is that its only about those two guys, not a love triangle or a threesome. I hated the triad theme in Twilight, so my dislike of that trope is just not for this book. YMMV.

This was very disjointed and the writing was kinda simple. Reminded me of some beginner fanfic. First James falls for Alex, then he falls for Tommy, then a sorta threesome, then Tommy leaves with his newly found brother, who just so happened to be James' roommate! I ended up skimming a lot.

Pretty awful, I keep having to remind myself not to read this author despite being prolific in my favourite genre. The writing is just too stilted and awkward for me and I never enjoy them.

Enemies to lovers. Separated until one finds out he's preggers. Danger ensues. One lover sidetracked by another, who features in good light while lover seemingly abandons him. Choppy and simplistic writing, stilted dialogue, leaps of logic. Have read better from this author, but have also read worse. On an evolutionary arc, this at least was moving in right direction when looking at pub date of worse book.

Two for the price of one

I really got off of this story. Two men who didn't get along as kids find themselves falling in love fast. I would have liked to know how Alex even got sucked in by the literal bitch that came later into the pack. I really appreciated the second book that came as a gift at the end of the book. Can't wait to continue reading about the tiger shifter.

An enjoyable short. Story does end at 76% and a bonus book is included after that. I have read many of Wolf's book's and am a fan. I will say this was not my favorite story. I felt the James was a bit immature through the whole book with things he would say and decisions he would make. Many different surprises to keep you reading to see what happens next. No cliffhanger with a HEA...but for who?

Glad it was free

I read this using Kindle Unlimited and am grateful for that. I usually like theses stories but this one was so rushed, disjointed and weird at times that it just couldn't make me happy. This is a will not rad again book for me.

Amazing. The Omega's Gift was a very exciting drama, love story, and action book.I love that the story was taken full circle. The love and heartfelt honesty these characters had for friends and family above all else was great.

Ok

It's ok. It'll distract you from the real world for a little while but there's no......ummm.....oomph, no connection, no pull. Also the blatant use of spit is a big turn off and kind of unrealistic while paired with the sizes described.

Usually Wolf Specter collaborating makes their books better, but this is by far the worst thing they have ever written.
