I love reunion romances, and I was REALLY excited to read this book about Tiegan and Liam. It started off with a lot of promise, but as the story progressed, there were things that started bothering and nagging at me. I tried to put these distractions aside so that I could enjoy the book, and I was determined to do so, but I could only hold out so long...
The book was choppy: things changed so abruptly, I thought I had missed a page or two. One second she's running away from him crying after not seeing him for ten years, then the next time she sees him, she's kissing him after a minute! There was a lot of history and pain involved with the two of them, and it just didn't make sense. The character's conversations were also really efficient, as if downloading facts to each other. It took me out of the story because I cant imagine anyone would speak this way, especially with the circumstances. Throughout the whole book, in fact, the characters spoke as if they were therapists... It just wasn't realistic to me.
Finally, the last half the story got uncomfortably corny.
Unfortunately, I can not recommend this book.
