This book was good but she keep overusing "dematerialize" for everything but other than that I enjoyed

Refreshing change of pace
This was an engaging read. I enjoyed it and Viper was vicious and deadly.I am looking forward to more from this author

Viper!
Viper is a vampire assassin with a past that not only haunts her but helps her as well. I love how the author shows she is more powerful than she even knows .

Wowser! Hold onto your hat while you're on this roller-coaster ride! What a fan-freaking-tastic, edge-of-your-seat must read for fans of fiction, 18+ Adults! No weak hearts & must have a cast iron stomach (if you're easily grossed out like me, just grin & bear it coz this book is worth it ;) A riveting, dark psychological, page-turning paranormal thriller with a totally unique story-line & a host of well-defined characters, besides the female protag, Nicole aka VIPER, (yup, there are snakes in this :o lol) who is not your normal, every-day Vampire ;) She is the kick-ass heroine out for revenge & has mad skills & abilities that helps keep her going; going to find & avenge her family's murders by her 'maker' - the vampire that turned her against her will! Unbelievably raw & gritty with great details, vivid descriptions & scenes that grabbed me by the throat & didn't let go until after I had finished! Of course now I'm addicted & can't wait for more!! So run, don't walk to get yours now, especially fans of paranormal, fantasy, suspense and even sci-fi coz you will be blown away!

This is my first time reading this authors work and I have to say it was very interesting, a bit long and dragged out at the beginning, but well worth the wait for the spine tingling parts to start. It is not for the faint of heart, so get ready for the ride.
Viper has a horrifying experience at the young age of 19, all her family is gone and she is left dead, but alive to feed her hatred of the being that did this to her. Her mission in life, to get revenge and then leave this earth. She spends 20 years making a name for herself as the deadliest being with the sole purpose of destroying him one day and the day is close....She trusts no one, but one and then her eyes are opened to the reality of it all. She is much more than she thought, with an immortal and a zombie-vampire she reeks havoc unlike any seen and she has just begun.

Viper is one good read!!
This is one of those books that leaves one looking forward to a follow up. Viper is a character with a story you want to know... And D. Jenkins can write... She can write with the best of them... Each of the books I've read by this author deals with a different genre... And each is full of compelling characters and great adventures... This reader will be following her writings closely.
