I didn't find Chloe Zoe and friends endearing, but my 3.5 year old is currently obsessed with this book. What does she see in it that I don't? Perhaps the easy to follow plot line? Perhaps the simple pictures (that I don't personally care for)? The excitement of Easter traditions? This book does have lessons about friendship and caring, so for that reason, I will read the book for 43rd time when my daughter asks tomorrow morning. Then I will remind her of the book when she doesn't share with her sister.
This is a good quick easter book. I used it more to help my daughter understand what was going to happen on Easter since she is not quite two. It was good for pointing out colors and eggs, but nothing to warm or fuzzy to take home.
I liked this book to teach my 2.5yo about having hopes for something that doesnt work out for you and still being happy for the experience and for others.
This is another cute Easter book. My daughter loves elephants and giraffes and two of the main characters are these animals! It is a cute story about an Easter egg hunt and wanting something but being disappointed and jealous. The only thing I didn't like was that there was only one brief page that addressed her jealousy and disappointment. But at the same time I'm glad it didn't dwell on it and it showed that things can get better. Overall a cute story with a cute illustrations and fun characters.
Chloe Zoe and her friends attend the Easter egg hunt where Chloe hopes to find the golden egg from the Easter Bunny. This is one of a series of picture books featuring Chloe Zoe and her friends. Bright colorful illustrations contain plenty of texture and different design elements throughout the book. The text is easy to read and placed well on the pages. There is a lesson in friendship in this story when the egg is found by a friend of Chloe’s who shares the prize with them. This would be an appropriate book for lap-time as well as a read-aloud for the younger child.
