Tangled Truth was well written, sexy, informative, and intriguing. I closed the book ready to run out to my local naughty items store to buy some rope, an instructions book and let the hubby go to town. ;). This often unexplored aspect of BDSM was highlighted beautifully by Ms. Dryden as she blended it seamlessly with her romance. I highly recommend this to those who are looking for a romance a bit off the beaten path.

Drew wanted Eva from the moment he’d met her at the art gallery, but the slender blonde wasn’t called the Ice princess for nothing. Careful scheming, and a well thought out bet landed him a date, and both are shocked to find out just how compatible they are. Drew isn’t heavy into the BDSM scene, but ropes appeal to him the way breasts might appeal to another man. For months he’s been picturing her wrapped in his ties while he did delicious things to her delectable body.

The attraction between Drew and Eva forced her to admit she wants him, but not the kink he’s associated with. A bad experience from her past has left her with a bad taste in her mouth as far as the BDSM world is concerned. The question now is can they survive as a couple without it?

I'm honestly shocked by how much I enjoyed this? Ms Dryden finally managed to write another kinky book with equal footing characters who respect each other and with a hero who isn't squicky and borderline creepy! YAY!

And on that note I shall read no more of her books. End with a good one!

Imagine what you can do with a little rope, a little ingenuity, and a lot of time...

This is my first book by Delphine Dryden, but it won't be my last. The writing flowed well and drew me in from page one. I wanted to get to know these characters and to really understand them. My understanding of rope play isn't as wide as it could be, but this book really opened my eyes--in a good way. There's an honesty and a trust in rope play--trust that the person won't go farther than the sub can stand and honesty in that in most cases the only barrier is the rope. I liked reading about it and seeing Eva's journey.

I have to admit, I thought the plot, based on the blurb, would be a lot more simple. I was pleasantly surprised and eager to finish the book. Drew is very much a dominant man. He's got to be in control, but when it comes to Eva, he's controlled AND totally aware of what she needs. Their connection really sizzled. Then there's Eva. She's a lot more complex than I'd figured and it worked well for the story. The twists at the end and the way she carried herself was great to read about.

Oh and the sex? Well, make sure you've got a fireproof screen. You'll be glad you did.

If you have a hankering for a hot read with a little rope for fun and satisfaction, read Tangled Truth. Four cherries, indeed.

What a fun, sexy story! Drew has a talent for bondage, and something about Eva particularly appeals to him - the more he can picture her in his ropes, the more he hopes she'll let him in to more than just the bedroom. While Eva had a humiliating past experience that has colored her interactions with men ever since, Drew's patience, sweetness and obvious affection for her go a long way to letting her take the leap back into that part of her that's she's hidden away for so long. The kinky scenes were not too over the top, just right for this reader in fact, and I really enjoyed the whole story and the romance that blossoms between the couple. 4 stars.

Tangled Truth is a tale that will satisfy any BDSM fan who loves a good bondage story. The interplay between Eva and Drew has enough sexual tension that I could practically feel it coming off the pages in waves. The sex is hot as well. Ms. Dryden knows what she is talking about when she vividly describes the relationship between a piece of rope and its intended bondage victim.

I liked the story, I think it's a good one if you like rope bondage or BDSM books that aren't heavy on dominance and submission. I did think that the conflicts were downplayed. I still liked it.

Really enjoyed. Glad to read about BDSM away from the club scene but between two people with strong feelings for each other.
