Unlikely Love is the story of Nikole Castro, aka Kole, Adam Lane and the bumpy road love leads them down.
Kole knows what it feels like to not be able to depend on anyone. She’s been taking care of her hard living mother and step-father for as long as she can remember and finds the thought of sticking around her small, middle of nowhere Kansas hometown absolutely unbearable. After an accident leaves her a 17 almost 18 year old orphan, fate steps in and Kole finds herself with the opportunity of a lifetime. Almost overnight she’s moving to Southern California, a college degree in her sights.
Though Adam’s upbringing was the opposite of Kole’s underprivileged one, its still been anything but easy. From the moment he was born, the only thing expected of Adam was to take over the family corporation and marry well. No “Hey son, want to throw the ball around?” here. The flip side of this was as long as Adam did well in school and towed the line, he was free to do what he wanted without much parental supervision. Shock of shocks Adam the rich, cocky manwhore was born. When he meets Kole, after literally knocking her on her ass, he finds himself wanting something different for the first time. What starts off as a casual summer friendship quickly turns to more as Kole and Adam fall and fall hard.
“I feel…almost in awe of you. When people look at me, they see a rich kid who’s been given everything he’s ever wanted, and they’re right. I am. But, I’m also more—or at least, somewhere deep inside of me, I want to be more.”
Due to outside forces and thoughtless, dumbass comments said in the heat of the moment (I’m looking at you, Adam!) Kole and Adam find themselves heartbroken and alone. For me, this is where the story really starts to come into its own. I enjoyed Adam and Kole the Early Years and their backstory was a necessity, but I really appreciated a successful and confident Kole holding her own against a more grown up, far less douchey Adam. The relationship felt equal where as before I could almost feel Kole waiting for the other shoe to drop and Adam to leave her. Unforeseen twists and turns add a little intrigue to the story in the best possible way.
I need to give some serious props to first time author Riann C. Miller for the writing in general, but also for the way she handled what can be a particularly sensitive trope for some to read about. And no, I’m not going to spoil it for you! Let’s just say I’m a fan of this particular plot device when it’s handled well but it can be a huge downer for me when the author drops the ball. No ball dropage here. Ms. Miller was completely on point, not only with the way this part of the story was set up but also the way the characters dealt with it in a believable manner.
My only real complaint with Unlikely Love is the fact that I would have loved more character development when it came to Kole and Adam. Both individually and in their relationship together. I know these two crazy kids were all kinds of in love with each other, I’m just not quite sure why. I also feel like a bit of additional time with a few of the side characters could’ve provided extra depth as well as a few light hearted moments I would’ve enjoyed.
I thoroughly enjoyed taking this wild ride with both Kole and Adam. Just ask my boss who caught me reading it at my desk at work. Don’t judge me! I can’t wait to see what Ms. Miller has in store for us next.

Unlikely Love charts the sweet second-chance love story of Nikole and Adam. It's a story encompassing their entire history together, making the second chance aspect all the more beautiful. It's about love, lies and the misadventure of scenarios that lead to years of heartache and loss.
Adam Lane's parents own a multimillion-dollar company this, teemed with the fact that he’s witty and gorgeous, makes him extremely desirable to the opposite sex and he is known for taking full advantage of his attributes.
Nikole Castro's background is the polar opposite of the hero. She has little money and little experience in all areas, yes... she’s a virgin but its super well played and quite frankly, because of her persona, she has to be this way.
They’re both young when they meet, something happens to destroy their world and keep them apart which ultimately leads to the draw that brings them back together, the impetus for the second chance romance. He’s attracted to her unlike he’s ever been drawn to anyone before which is an element that pertains to the obvious and predictable but in this story it's totally charming. The plot is carefully laid out and constructed but I sometimes felt it became more plot than character driven which can be detrimental to the feel and emotion of a book.
I think some areas of the story arc, mainly the first half of their relationship would benefit from further development and fleshing out for readers to fall deeper in love with the story. For my tastes their whirlwind romance is over too short a time span for full investment and belief in their later thoughts and feelings and Adam seems to turn into the perfect guy overnight, kicking his bad boy ways a little too quickly. Having said all this, the second half of the book drew me in, engaged my book heart and made me fall in love with the story. I appreciated the way the story arc developed over the last half, especially the evolution of the heroine, so all in all a delightful read from this first time author. I’m certainly excited for future works.

This is the debut novel for author Riann C. Miller. She wrote a lovely second chance love story that I enjoyed very much. Both Mel and I agreed that it was a very sweet read and has made us very excited about what's more to come from this author.
This book is a standalone story that has two parts. In the first half we meet a young Nikole aka Kole, freshly moved to LA after the death of her mother and step dad. She's mysteriously gotten a full scholarship to UCLA and has decided to move into the dorms before school even starts to get a feel for the city that will be her new home. Kole gets a job at a local coffee shop where she meets gorgeous Adam. LA is Adam's home town, and he's there for the summer before he goes back to Stanford to resume his studies and the life plans his controlling father has laid out for him.
Adam has always been a player because women simply can't resist him, so when he meets the beautiful and innocent Kole he wants to put his moves on her. b
But she is more than the naïve girl she seems, and will make him word hard for it. Once they start going out a powerful feeling takes over their hearts and this Unlikely Love will make them forget about everything and everyone; nothing else matters when they are together . Unfortunately Adam's father and Kole's past will interfere and destroy everything Adam and Kole had planned, changing the direction of their lives forever.
The second part is set twelve years later. Adam's father has died and on the wake of his death, Adam's mother has found a very important secret that had been buried but has now resurfaced, forcing Adam to go looking for the girl who broke his heart all those years ago.
Kole is not the same innocent girl she once was, the hardships of life have transformed her into a strong woman who doesn't take crap from anybody. What I loved about Kole's character the most, was that she wasn't jaded or bitter about love in any way. She's used the pain from her past to better her future. But her sweet essence hasn't changed, even after the love of her life shattered her heart.
When Adam and Kole come face to face again, so many different emotions will erupt between them. But one thing has remained the same, even after all the time and distance; their Unlikely Love is as strong and alive as before.
This story was romantic and had a good dose of angst. I would definitely recommend this book and I'm hoping we get more from this author soon... (Jett's story, please)

Nikole Castro hasn't had the greatest upbringing. She has had to depend on herself for most of her life. And when an even alters her life, she decided to make a new start in California. She does this when she is given a scholarship that will allow her to study without worrying about paying for it. She still needs to work, so she end up at a coffee shop. This is where she literally bumps into Adam Lane, the rich playboy that all women seem to fall for. Nikole is determined to not end up like her mother did, so she makes sure to make it clear to Adam that she isn't into flings.

There is something about Nikole that just draws Adam in. He doesn't usually do relationships, but Nikole makes him want one with her. Unfortunatley, Adam isn't in control of his life it seems. His father has his entire life mapped out until it's time for him to take over the family business. Adam is done letting his dad dictate his life. However, a misunderstanding leads Adam and Nikole to break up in a heartbreaking way. They both changed because of that day and they never thought that twelve years later life would bring them back together.
I quite enjoyed this one. I liked seeing how the relationship between Nikole and Adam developed when they were eighteen and twenty. However, it was also very frustrating because of how immature these characters were. I still very much liked them despite that. I think things between them happened a little too rapidly, because of that I had a bit of trouble connecting with them as a couple. I did like the sexual tension and the angst in this book, though. Again, they were immature and young, which is what led to their miscommunication. That part was painful and very frustrating but I was happy to see how twelve years would change them.

In the second part of the book, Adam and Nikole are adults with their lives very put together. I liked seeing how mature these characters became. I liked them a whole lot better because of it. There was a bit of a twist in the second half that I kind of saw coming. In this part I was able to connect with them much better. I did want to see them fall in love with each other again in a bit of a slower pace, rather than just kind of continue where they left off. One thing I loved were the secondary characters, they were awesome. And I was very happy with the ending of this book. Especially the epilogue. I really enjoyed it. Overall, this was a great read.

It was only half NA, so it wasn't half bad

I enjoyed Unlikely Love by Riann C Miller. We meet 18 year old Kole (Nikole) and 20 year old Adam. Kole has had a very hard life growing up with a party hard Mum and Step Dad. She spent many years looking after them instead of them looking after her. She doesn’t want to stay and follow in their footsteps, so she works hard at school to get a scholarship to College. When her parents die in a car accident, she accepts a scholarship to a college in LA. Life seems to be finally going right for her and the transition seems easy, maybe too easy. Not one to kick a gift horse in the mouth, she packs her bags and heads off.
Adam is a typical trust fund Daddy’s boy, with money in his pocket and a fancy car to drive around in. Luckily he’s smart and manages to keep Daddy happy by keeping up good grades and following most of his rules. This gives him the freedom to party hard and sleep around. Daddy has plans for Adam’s future, but allows him to sow his wild oats until he finishes College. In the summer holidays he heads home to LA to have a little fun.
Kole gets a job in a coffee shop to help with expenses, while at work she gets knocked off her feet by Adam. There is an instant attraction which neither can deny. This is the turning point in both their lives.
There is a lot of angst throughout the story and I mean A LOT. First off there is the young college angst that drives me a little bonkers. Immaturity, recklessness and entitlement were the main problems for this couple. When things finally come to a burning point, it was just a little too convenient (plot wise) that the couple couldn’t/didn’t communicate. They break up with what seems like not much of a fight which leads to a separation of 12 years.
Kole and Adam spend the 12 years apart kind of hating each other, but not being able to move on either. When the opportunity presents itself to clear things up and try to move on together they must work through some difficulties that have arisen in their time apart.
Overall this was a good debut for the author. I enjoyed the story but felt that there wasn’t a lot of maturity gained for either Kole or Adam from the time they are 18 and 20 to 30 and 32. They still seemed to struggle with their same demons and sort most of their problems between the sheets. There were times I was frustrated for the couple, times I cried and times I just wanted things to be easier for them. Unlikely Love sucked me in little by little and had me turning each page hoping that the next one was the one where everything would work out. It all turned out well in the end and the sort of epilogue left a little smile on my face.

This was a tale told in two parts, a second chance love story which began one summer at college when two people from very different backgrounds came together for a summer of fun. What they weren't expecting was to fall in love so quickly. Miscommunication and circumstance lead to an epic break up that keeps them apart for 12 long years.
Adam is a possessive and alpha type man who is confident in his beliefs, but once he learns that he was deceived by his own father, he has to work hard to try and win back the woman he so harshly turned away.
Nikole has moved on and made a good life for herself, with a father and a brother she never knew she had and a job she only ever dreamed of, but she never forgot the man who stole her heart and cruelly broke it all those years ago.
Adam wants her back, but she is reluctant to trust him again.

This was an angsty story, often frustrating at times due to the lack of communication between their younger selves, but once I moved onto the second part of the book I found that they had matured enough to be able to actually sort through their problems like adults.
I really loved Kole's brother Jet, and would be very interested to see a book about him.
This was a great debut from author Riann C. Miller, and I am very much looking forward to what she has in store for us in future works.

This was an angsty story, often frustrating at times due to the lack of communication between their younger selves, but once I moved onto the second part of the book I found that they had matured enough to be able to actually sort through their problems like adults.
I really loved Kole's brother Jet, and would be very interested to see a book about him.
This was a great debut from author Riann C. Miller, and I am very much looking forward to what she has in store for us in future works.

What a Fabulous debut for Riann C. Miller! Angst is Flowing! Passion is heated! Unlikely Love is an NA gem.
A Woman with a less than stellar upbringing…a Man with a fancy lifestyle of pleasure…on a literal collision course with one another. Nikole Castro has no desire to fall for Adam Lane’s antics…but desire…attraction…passion...they seem inevitable.
I loved this story of two souls, while socioeconomically diverse, they were living such similar lives as everything seemed dictated by others. Neither Nikole nor Adam lived for themselves, perhaps this is the greatest drawl to one another. Adam finally wants something, or someone, for himself and Kole just wants. BOOM! In an instant, fate seems to have sealed these two hearts together.
Love is never easy. Misunderstandings and miscommunication are daggers to any heart and they shatter the only good thing either has had the pleasure of having. Dial up the angst! Yes, this is set in the college years and everyone knows that every decision is life and death! The rich cocky trust-funded Adam just can’t shake his past and Nikole’s upbringing adds to the end of their relationship.
The author develops the best part of the tale during a 12 year time span in which Adam and Nikole try to mend their broken hearts. I loved the transformation of the characters thru the years, especially a strong willed and open Nikole. She has had a life time of shattered dreams and broken emotions…Adam Lane once her soothing balm, is finally there for her heart and this time, once he takes it, he will never let it go!
I am an official fan and look forward to future works!

Overall Opinion: I would say it was a little less than "just ok". It definitely has some major instalove going on . I am a sucker for second chance romances especially when there is a significant time jump, but as I said -- I was underwhelmed. I couldn't get past the instalove.
This is one of those hard books to review without giving too much away, but if you're like me and need the spoiler I'll include some...
Storyline: This is Kole (short for Nikole) and Adam's story. They meet at Kole's place of work right after she moves to LA the summer before he freshman year. Adam is known to be a playboy that does hookups but doesn't do a repeat, but miraculously when he sees Kole he decides that there is something "different" about her to make him want to have a relationship (even if it's just until he leaves to go back to Stanford). His uber wealthy father has a strict plan for Adam's future including his education, career, and potential wife. They get serious quick (as I mentioned above -- see spoiler if you want to know how quick and serious)...now this is where it gets tricky to continue without spoiling the book, so I will just say that they separate and then find their HEA after reuniting.
BUT if you want to know the summary with spoilers...
POV: This alternated between Kole and Adam's POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Fast. Too instalove for me, and I think it would've benefited the story to add more development of the relationship (both initial and reuniting) even if that meant adding to the length.
H rating: 2 stars. Adam. Wish he had more faith in Kole and their relationship and had tried to talk with her without the major emotions and his father.
h rating: 2 stars. Kole. Wish she attempted to contact Adam to try to clear up the misunderstanding more than she had.
Sadness level: Low. No tissues needed.
Heat level: Low/moderate. Some steamy times, but they were just ok.

Kole’s life hasn’t been a walk in the park, but she has been determined to rising above and making something of her life. Kole is a fantastic character. I am huge fan of people/characters who don’t make excuses for their past, but find ways to rise above. When we meet Kole she is in college and working at a coffee shop. That’s where she meets Adam.
Adam not so admirable. Yeah, he is your typical wealthy college student. He isn’t overly friendly or nice, he is just a self-centered guy looking out for himself. When he meets Kole in the coffee shop where she is working he never plans for it to go further than one night, but Kole isn’t that kind of girl.
The story is told in two parts. Part 1 is Kole and Adam when they are younger and in college. They spend this one summer together where they fall in love. It’s beautiful and fun summer, but has an ugly ending. Part 2 begins twelve years later. Now they are adults and circumstances bring them back together. They are not the same people they used to be, the years have changed them.
I really enjoyed watching Kole and Adam fall in love, both times. I won’t lie there were parts of the story that were super frustrating, but as always there must be conflict. I liked how Kole and Adam found love again. I loved the twist, and found that it really brought the story full circle. I was so freaking happy for Quinn to get her HEA, she is a great character!
If you are a fan of second chance love stories, you must read this one!

Unfortunately Adam ruined this for me. He's a childish, self absorbed jerk that had no character growth whatsoever. At 92% he was still acting like an idiot, by that far into a book I want to love the hero as much as the heroine, not rooting for the heroine to walk away and keep walking!

Nikole and Adam came from two different worlds, Adam having everything he's ever wanted and Nikole always working to have what she needed. When Adam runs into Nikole she sparks an interest in him that he's never felt before with anyone else, so he goes after her.
Nikole knows Adam’s type—charming girls out of their panties and then dropping them like yesterday's news so, needless to say, she refuses to be another notch on his bedpost. That is, until he shows her he truly wants to get to know her. I loved seeing the sweeter side of Adam, but I will say when the sexy part came out, Hot Damn! Panties beware!!
They try to find a way to be together when it seems the world is against them, and at times, I so wanted to choke the mess out of someone. I could not contain my sadness and tears when all hell broke loose, and I wished I could have smacked Adam into seeing the ‘real truth’!
I won't give more than that, just know that the second part of the book flowed beautifully, that it had me rooting for them. The emotions, passion and love Adam and Nikole had for each other never fizzled—if anything their time apart showed them what they truly meant to each other, and how the love they shared has always been at the forefront.

If I had to headline this book like Amazon requires, I'd probably go with sometime like 'Communication is key' or 'Assuming makes an ass out of you and me'. This was a stellar debut novel by a brilliant new writer. I'm astounded by the clear and perfectly flowing nature of this book. While this book spanned over a decade in two separate parts, I didn't feel the disconnect I often find in books that do this.
This book was wonderful and was a book that once I started it, I didn't put it down until I read the very last words. I love when a book is able to capture me like this and hold my interest so thoroughly that by the time I look down I realize I'm going to struggle getting out of bed when my 6am alarm goes off because I've read into the wee hours of the morning.
Kole and Adam found that 'love at first sight' or 'insta-love' that everyone talks about but normally I dislike these kinds of books, what I found really worked for the author was how clearly she was able to portray their feelings and that soul crushing vibe when it all went to hell.
I found myself in tears for not only Kole and Adam as well, a man deprived of what he so clearly wanted and needed because of the horribly selfish, cruel actions of another person but at the same time I wanted to climb into my kindle and beat the crap out of him for believing what was so clearly a bold face lie. Men....AHHH! They can be so so stupid sometimes and because of this he lost out on precious years he could never get back.
I couldn't have been more pleased with the HEA I was given, though this book was so good I didn't want it to end.

enjoyed this debut novel quite a bit. first half is based on our couple aged 18 and 22, both in college. it's basically how/when they meet, fall into some serious insta-love and sadly are ripped apart because of.. reasons. one thing o do want to say is in books bad communication or not speaking up is one major turn off with book couples breaking up mindlessly but alas here it was angsty so i kept on reading.)
second half of the book was way better, it's a time jump 12 years on. both our hero and heroine are living in different states and are successful but are still in love with one another but because of what happened when they were young they actually dislike one another and haven't spoken.

I really enjoyed Reading Unlikely Love. It’s the story about a girl, Kole, with shit luck in parents, and a guy, Adam, who apparently had it all but until the time he crashed into her life, he led an empty life. Coming from completely different worlds, they clash in a whirlwind romance. But when outside forces begin to interfere, how strong will their love and trust for each other have to be? And when the evidence forces them to turn their backs and reject the love of their lives, will they be brave enough to reclaim it?
This story has two parts, the beginning of Kole and Adam’s love story, and then the chance of reuniting after years apart. So in a nutshell this is a second chance romance. While as a rule, I’m not super fond of this, I quite enjoyed this one.
What I will say is while Kole and Adam meet when they’re 18 and 20 year old respectively, they didn’t quite act their age. So, when we then meet them 10 years later, not much has changed personality wise and this gives you the feel that there wasn’t much character development.
I can’t say this is the best book I’ve ever read, but I found it very engaging. I usually love my Hs to be uber-possessive jerks so I had no issues with Adam’s actions, though this could rub some people the wrong way.
I will admit that I still can’t believe the actions of Adam’s father, who will be referred to as Satan’s right hand from now on. I think it was OTT enough to border “no-way-could-someone-in-real-life-be-that-much-of-a-mother-effing-git” and it takes a little of credibility from the story. But hey, who wants to read a three chapter book with no conflict at all?
As I said, I found this a very entertaining read and I will definitely be waiting for more from Ms. Miller.

ARC IN EXCHANGE OF A HONEST REVIEW - BLOG TOUR
You can make a cliche boring, or you can make it captivating.
This is one of those stories where you can guess what is going to happen, the plot is common and we are going to think it will be another cliche story. But in this one the author made an incredible job, with a refreshing storyline.
Is surprisingly good. And I can't believe this is the debut of this author, I was connected so easily with this story... And I felt everything something that is sometimes hard to achieve.
I really don't have words to describe my feelings toward this book, but if we use a scale between one and ten... Would be more than ten. Is fascinating, incredible and is a story that becomes a part of you.
I loved so much Kole's character, she was the kind of heroines you want to be friend with. She's not afraid of speaks her mind out, she's not afraid to say the things that needs to be said and she's so strong because despite everything, her maturity is clearly something that show us that she wants to earn a good life despite what happened in her past.
And Adam... Oh man, he stole my heart. Maybe the decisions he took weren't good decisions. He was in this world to follow his father's step, they decided everything for him so he was used to act the way he acted... I mean, I'm not defending him, because sometimes he pissed me off but the truth has to be said it. And his effort and his love were genuine, he was only a lost guy who lost his first chance... Because obviously, the life, the destiny call it however you want, was going to give him a second chance.
This book... Was perfect and I can't freaking wait to read more from this author, I really can't wait.

A Debut full of Sweet Love & Heart-Wrenching Moments which left my chest pounding
This is Riann C. Miller's debut release and I loved every bit of it. It is the story of Nikole (AKA Kole) & Adam. Their accidental run in at a coffee shop leads to an Unlikely Love full of Sweetness and absolutely gut-wrenching heartache. Will they get an HEA?
The characters, Nikole an independent young woman who is starting a life on her own. Adam, a trust fund baby destined to take his father's place at the head of the company. Nikole just wants to concentrate and focus on getting familiar with her new home before starting college. Adam wants to party and forget about the destiny that awaits him. Both characters I loved, they were well written. Nikole was very relatable as was Adam.
The obstacle they have to endure in this book sent me over the edge. I was not expecting it and it had me gripped with emotion. Heartbreak, Anger, Sadness I went through it all along with the characters. I read this book in one sitting and couldn't put it down. This was a brilliant book and Riann C. Miller is an author that will always go on my TBR List.

Unpopular opinion here, beware!
The bad thing about waiting a week to write a review after finishing a book is that I usually forget the plot, unless the story is fucking phenomenal (which this one wasn't, because I literally had no idea what this story was even about until I skimmed over some reviews). The one thing that really bothered me was the immaturity of the characters. No 18/20 year old I know talks this way - and I can really say that being one myself, and being surrounded by this demographic every.fucking.day - and definitely no 30-year old behaves this way. This story had all the components for it to have been a great story, but it fell really fucking flat. Rash decisions, I understand - I'm the queen of spontaneity (not really) - but there have been multiple literary cases where this was carried out quite elegantly/eloquently.
I'm really sorry to be hating on an author's first work, because I have read her latest and she's improved by leaps and bounds, but I'm in a particularly foul mood right now, and this happens to be my victim. I'm really sorry. Read it if it's your cuppa, or don't if you don't want to know.

A pretty decent read for me. Love how it started but most of the events happened so quickly. It was like chasing a train or something. At first, I did not understand the marriage part. In fact, I hated it. But I understood its part in the story and I have to say it was an impressive twist.
That's all I can say about this book in my emotionless review. It is pretty good but found nothing special about it. Great job, Miss Miller! Looking forward to reading more of your books.

Great story! The story of Nicole and Adam is a love story with a twist, are they or aren't they a good fit? You maybe changing your mind a few times as you read. The flow was easy and story is intriguing. A perfect weekend read!! Highly recommended!

Can't believe this is her first book! Loved everything, cried a few ugly tears but they were very happy ugly tears - so the good kind! This is a book you don't want to miss. Highly recommend!

Unlikely Love didn't really do much for me, unfortunately. I think the H, Adam, ruined it for me. He was a completely self-absorbed asshole for most of the book. Even when he "changed" it seemed to be too fast, and forced. Wish I could go on, but there isn't much more to this book. It's rushed, has little character development, and I didn't feel as if the connection between Kole and Adam was very strong.
Perhaps the next one, about Jet, Kole's half brother, will be better.

*SPOILER ALERT*
After her parents die in a car accident, Nicole McKenzie can't wait to escape her small hometown. The only fly in the ointment is finding out that the man she called dad isn't her biological father. Nonetheless, our ambitious heroine forges ahead with her plan's to make something of herself.
Armed with a "full ride scholarship" to UCLA and a new job close to campus, everything seems to be falling into place.
Enter hot (and wealthy) manwhore, Adam who is in town for the summer. Our two young lovers quickly fall in love and get married (secretly).
When Adam's tyrannical daddy finds out his son has married some girl he's never heard of (they've only been together a matter of weeks), he assumes she's a gold digging whore, fabricates "evidence" that suggests she's been unfaithful (i.e pays someone to take creepy surveillance pics of her with another man who turns out to be her surprise half-brother) and Adam FALLS FOR IT!!! He cruelly terminates their marriage while whispering poisonous word's into her disbelieving ears.
Fast forward 12 years, Adam discovers that daddy neglected to mention that his former wifey was pregnant and the paper's he thought he was signing to end his marriage, also included paper's agreeing to terminate his parental rights.
Naturally, Adam is upset about this turn of events because it also comes with the realisation that he wronged Nikole. After some further digging, he decides to eat crow and plead for a chance to get to know his son.
As you can probably tell, I've left a tonne of detail out which is due to the fact that I am writing this review late at night and I have to get up early for work tomorrow. I was also irked by a few things.
Personally, if someone that I was in love with cruelly broke my heart, rubbed salt in the wound by suggesting he had been unfaithful because my bedroom skills were lacking, showed a painful indifference to the fact I was carrying our child by signing away his parental rights (alright...I know this point doesn't technically count as Adam was deceived by his father) and left me to raise our child for 12 years, pig's would fly before I forgave him.
Not our Kole, oh no! She practically dropped her panties and bent over. *cough* Okay, I may be slightly exaggerating but that's how it seemed.
And, Adam? What a self-pitying meathead. When he discovers that she had a relationship during their time apart, he sulks and gets upset. He even accuses her of not having the same depth of feeling that he has. *snort* Does someone have a spare box of tissues? *eye-roll*. .
