This book is a part of the "That Summer Place" bind up and I really liked it! It's a story about a woman named Catherine who is a workaholic and single mother to 2 teen/preteen girls. Her husband died 8 years ago and its been just about that many years since she's taken a vacation with her girls. So, she decides to take them back to an island off of Washington where she and her family used to go every summer. While there, she runs into the boy who lives on the island who was her first love. They are both nearing 50 now and the spark is still there. They rekindle their relationship and its so cute and sweet, but then it all falls apart because she finds out that he's the president of a company that she's trying to get as a client. She feels that he was deceitful, but he didn't know the connection until shortly before she did. They make up pretty quickly and get married and they are one big happy family. Yay! So glad this first love became a forever love.

Catherine is working too hard and decides to take her children on a much needed vacation. She takes them to the Island and the house that she used to spend her summers. She remembered them as happy times and wanted to share that experience with her daughters. She gets there and runs into Michael again. After 30 years can they recreate what they had before. Can it be better than it was or will they go their separate ways.

I really enjoyed this story. It was so hard to put down.

Catherine needs a little break. She and her daughters go to Spruce Island. A place she went during her younger years. She literally bumps into Michael. These two had a fling decades ago. One thing leads to another and they are back to where things left off between them. This was a cute fast paced read that will have you reading it in one sitting.
