Trembling Surrender

Rate this book
It is late 1892, and a mysterious visitor arrives at the wooded estate of the Tudor family in Devon... Though his purpose there is unclear, he soon turns the manor upside down with his unfettered ways , unleashing a series of tumultuous awakenings that leave Miss Lacy, Sir Robert, and their innocent handmaiden Amelia changed forever. Written in the opulent Victorian style of Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy, and the Brontë sisters, “Trembling Surrender” will transplant you back to the lavish world of fin de siècle rural England, where strict moral codes were quickly coming undone, and hidden desires that had been bottled up for ages began bursting at the seams. Behind it all, we sense a narrator with an agile sense of humor and a readiness to examine and even parody the peccadillos of a particular time and culture. This novel is a passionate glimpse into another era.

Uuuhhhhh

This isn't a book. This is a picture of a flower with a cover and a synopsis. I'm not joking. There are two pages and that's it.
