You can read the blurb in the synopsis. What it doesn't tell you is that the story is a tragic tale of how other people can control our destinies, dictate our life and not always for our own good. If we let it, it can be our downfall. I know another reviewer didn't like the fact that Harli ran everytime she got close, but Harli was constantly being told by the person who should be the one that is the most honest and loyal to you, that she was poison and ruined everything she touched. How she had ruined her mums career and how she was going to do the same to Levi. Unfortunately after so many years of being told something, you do believe it because if you can't trust a parent, who can you trust? This is the story of Levi and Harli. A voyage of self discovery and despite all odds it does get its HEA. Read it and make your own mind up.

I just couldn't put it down, another great five star read from Wendy Knight.
Its a roller coast ride of emotions with a few twist and turns along the way.

The story starts of in the past when Harli saves Levi's life after a tragic car accident. The pair meet again some years later when Levi is at his friends house were she inspires his love of music. Levi is crazy in love with Harli and she loves him but has emotional scars that run deep thanks to her mother. So she keeps putting walls up and running away. Will Levi's love to save them both or will Harli's fear break them both.

Would love to see a follow up novella want to know if Kim and Jace ever get together

Rocker Boy is a tale woven of a friendship and love that conquers all. It was sweet

Rocker Boy is a tale woven of a friendship and love that conquers all. I appreciated their loyalty, and how the story had just the right amount of danger, though it is a story of abuse. There are also characters who have issues with abusing substances, and a little rougher language (but with a book about rock stars, you can expect to see these themes). I couldn't put it down.

This book rocks

I loved this book, I couldn't put it down until I reached the end. Wendy knight is takes some difficult subjects and helps you see there can be a strength and growth as you go through it. I know love the growth of the love story and how clean it stays throughout the book. I nicely done, I'll be reading more from this author!

If there's one thing Wendy Knight does really, REALLY well, it's intense emotional situations and star-crossed lovers. I loved this book, especially the description of how Harli saw music in her head, and the absolute yearning between Levi and Harli. And Selicia scared the crap outta me.

GRA: Some swearing.

The concept of the story is really good. They meet as kids, they become friends, they become a little more than friends, he becomes famous over night, they drift apart, they try to make it work and so on. There is a lot of passion and chemistry between Levi and Harli and it's not always positive. But when it is positive, it's great! Here are some of my issues with Rocker Boy.... There is a lot of abuse in this book. Both physical and mental and that is hard for some to handle. The book drug out the story too long. I believe that it would have been a little better if some of the drama was taken out and the story shortened a little. Another thing that bothered me was Jace. I think he's a great guy and he's obviously in love with Harli but he never "sees" Kim. She was always over looked and ignored right to her face. I wish that those two had finally gotten together.

Even though I gave it a three and I had some issues with the book, it was still good. I wanted to keep reading to see how it all ended. There are some things that I think need help but overall I'm glad that I read it.

It was interesting at first, but then I got annoyed with the heroin so much. Emotional and physical abuse is hard, butthe way she coped with it made me want to tear my hair out. The same thing happened again and again. The so-called good friends-those who supposedly loved and understood her were totally clueless about her situation. -.- meaningless but exaggerated love ~
I wanted to give this 2 stars, but okay, no stars for me.

A Good Book

Feels like the ending is incomplete. Wish there was more to read. Overall it was a good read. Hope there is a sequel.
