A Romantic Historical with Lashings of EROTICA!
The Persuasion of Molly O'Flaherty is about a billionaire, an heiress and a sham marriage set against a historical backdrop and a dash of intrigue. It's about control, hope, trust, fear and love with relationships steeped in kink and elements of BDSM. The protagonists, Molly and Silas, long ago planned to live and love freely, to have fun with who they want, whenever they fancy. It captured both my attention and heart from the beginning to the very end and has left me eager for the second and final part of The London Lovers Duet series.

Silas and Molly have known each other for ten years ensuring that the story is shrouded in their shared history entwining their life, friends and dalliances enhancing the feel and depth of the story. Silas made me laugh and I so enjoyed their easy banter together born of years of sincere friendship. Molly is honest intelligent, strong, determined and vulnerable with life experiences that have shaped her relationships with men and made her crave control in all areas of her life. Loving and trusting are not easy feelings for her to command.

I initially met Molly and Silas as secondary characters in The Markham Hall Series and was absolutely delighted when I heard the author was giving them their own story. I highly recommend reading Markham Hall first as it's one of my favourite reads of the year but it's not essential as The London Lovers Series stands on its own.

The antagonist is perfectly evil and one hopes to witness his downfall. He’s the catalyst for Molly's inner feelings concerning negative experiences and thoughts. As the story progresses we discover more of her hurtful past and the true significance of her relationship with Silas.

I adore the way this story is set up for intrigue and heartache from the very beginning. The premise of the protagonists past relationship, a moment in time between them that changed things and then the way Sierra Simone continues to embellish Molly's history revealing nuances and imparting information all the way through. There are times that I felt a little frustrated with the heroine and found her to be a little capricious in her thoughts and actions, having said that I equally acknowledge and understand her reasoning and motivation so maybe my frustrations are unjustified. Certainly during the second half of this story my heart was completely in her hands as the story arc began to attack my emotions. I felt the anguish of the protagonists and as the plot thickened it left me longing for the next part in this duet series and happiness for Molly.

The nature of Sierra Simone's Historical stories are sensual, passionate and HIGHLY EROTIC, suiting my fictional reading tastes very nicely. The proclivities of the protagonists and their friends are highly lovely, the way they’re expressed, creatively crafted and lived out in this fictional world is divine. Historical, erotic, romance that's lusciously heavy on the erotica without compromising the strength of the story. A series I highly recommend to all lovers of erotic romance, the historical aspect is a gorgeous bonus

Warning: An open fictional reading mind required for the HIGHLY erotic and kinky scenes.

★★★The Persuasion of Molly O’Flaherty is a 40,000 word novella and is the first of the London Lovers duet. It is not necessary to read The Seduction of Molly O’Flaherty first.

Sensual- Erotic- Emotional..........This book is packed with a whole lot of sexiness!! Set in the 1800's, it's a historical of love and second chances. It's highly erotic and extremely deep in emotion.

Mary Margaret "Molly" O’Flaherty is a strong, dominant, take charge kind of woman who loves to have sex. Silas Cecil-Coke is sexy, carefree, man of the world who loves to have sex as well. Molly and Silas have been friends and lovers for quite a while, they run in the same circle and had an encounter where they both confessed their love........but it wasn't a HEA. Fast forward a year and Silas returns for Molly but does he return for his heart or for convenience? Silas broke Molly and she has vowed to never let that happen again no matter what her heart and inner desire says. Silas must do his best as winning her back, even if it means not playing fair. What they truly feel and desire for one another may not be enough in the end and Molly’s fate with Hugh may not be able to be untied.

Silas is quite the exquisite lover and he is more exquisite when he is in love. It’s intense, it’s passionate and it’s sinfully sexy. I will say that the ending was.......

We got to meet these two in The Markham Hall Series. That series is one of my very favorites. Seeing that Molly and Silas we're getting their own series made me jump for joy. The writing of Sierra Simone quietly takes you to 1800's England where you are quickly absorbed into prim and proper England but with a side of erotic sprinklings that leaves you hot and bothered.

I can't wait for The Wedding of Molly O'Flaherty. I feel like there will be more heartbreak before a HEA comes both their ways but never the less, I'm sure the steam factor will still be high!!!

wtf did i just read!???
where tf was the romance everyone was raving about, like whereeee!???
oh and guess what our beloved hero had the “body betraying” syndrome and trusttt me when i say it was not as “good” as it sounds🥲🥲

The Plot:
8 months ago the mcs had a passionate fling for 3 days (after years of being friends) where they fell for each other,
however the hero being a little bitchass commitment-phobe fucked another girl and oh ya’ll know what the icing on the cake was??? the fml caught them😑😑

now fast forward to the present where the fml needs to marry someone in order to save her company when suddenly the ml realises that he ✨loves✨ the fml

now i thought that this is where the ml is gonna redeem himself, show character development and be a better man!🦋🦋
well guess what??
as soon and i mean AS SOON as he arrives in london, the freaking moment he gets off the train he meets the ow (from 8 months ago) and fucks her again😵‍💫
and guess what if that wasn’t enough after meeting and then confessing his love to the fml he starts getting a bj from the SAME OW AGAIN though he does realise soon enough that he “only wants the fml” alas its too late cause once again the fml caught him with his dick in the ow’s mouth🫠🫠

all while this was going on in his head:
I shifted, my dick surging at the same time as my mind remembered Molly’s eyes last night, the gloriously furious way she’d yelled at me. God. It was like I was two different people, and I wanted to be the good one, the one who only wanted one woman. Why couldn’t I just be the good one?

She was seductive and silky and eager to please, and all of a sudden, I felt like Silas from last year, carefree and intent on fucking someone immediately.

he’s talking about the ow not the fml 😐😐

And as I pulsed inside of her, it was Molly O’Flaherty I pictured riding me, Molly O’Flaherty with her perfect breasts and her perfect mouth and her perfect, powerful right hook.
ahhh oh yes isn’t this what every woman dreams of!??
the love of her life thinking about her whilst fucking another woman🥹🤍🤌🏼
wtf said chivalry was dead???

the entire book is literally a compilation of the fml making dumb decisions and the hero cheating or thinking about cheating while being oh so in love with the heroine🙄

Silas Cecil-Coke was not ready for a serious relationship. After that passionate weekend that he spent with Mollie, he did not hesitate to betray her with one of her best friends. Ashamed and confused with what he did, he run away to France and spend one year there with his brother’s family. But he never forgot Mollie.

Betrayed and hurt Mollie tried unsuccessfully to forget Silas. On top of that, she is told that she has to get married if she wants to keep her company. The husband-to-be is already chosen, but Mollie is too independent and a free-spirit.

Silas will run to England and he will try to convince her to choose him. He will try every innocent and every dirty trick to persuade her that he will never betray her again. Mollie is in turmoil and she knows that the decision is not in her hands.

The Persuasion of Molly O'Flaherty is another highly erotic book of the series. Full of sensual and decadent sex scenes.

The chemistry between Silas and Mollie is off the charts. The backbone story is strong and it has substance, however the salt and pepper of this book is definitely the intimate moments between the two main characters.

Molly O’Flaherty is a feisty, independent woman who is never intimidated by anyone. For years, she developed her father’s small shipping business into a worldwide enterprise. In Molly’s personal life, she enjoys her circle of friends who share the same sexual cravings and aren’t afraid to indulge in pleasures of the flesh.

Silas Cecil Coke is a gentleman solicitor and well-known playboy in London. Silas and Molly have been close friends for many years and have shared numerous kinky times. Silas is such a charmer with his dark wavy hair, blue eyes, tall and fit frame, and an infamous dimpled grin. He definitely makes me weak in the knees.

description

While Molly has been able to run her company for years as she saw fit, there is now a shift of power on the board of directors and they are exerting certain control by issuing an ultimatum that is a lose-lose for her. Molly must decide to marry a “board approved” suitor or lose her precious company. As Molly tries to find a solution, Silas learns of her dilemma and is determined to help. What complicates Silas’ offer is that Molly and Silas are more than just ménage buddies, they have true affection for one another but Molly is too stubborn to admit it. As Silas tries to persuade Molly, what ensues is hot, hot and hot!! Silas is incredibly sexy and the chemistry between them is explosive!!

“How many times did you let me come in your ass, Mary Margaret O’Flaherty? And how many times on you face? How many times did you let me spank you until you were begging for more? Begging for me to ram my…”

description

“I would fist her hair and press my crown against her mouth and make her lap up my cum as I pulsed onto her lips.”

In this book, I thoroughly enjoyed getting reunited with Molly and Silas, as their characters continue to develop we learn more about her past and his need for a different future. I also liked reading about the Baron, and of course, Julian and Ivy. Sierra’s writing has a contemporary feel although the setting is London in the 1880’s and I especially like how the women are portrayed as strong and confident characters despite social expectations of the time. With alternating POV’s from Molly and Silas, I devoured each page and simply could not get enough! The reason for not giving a full five star rating was because I felt like I was chasing the next step until the very end and I wanted a bit more resolution than what was offered.

To enjoy the London Lovers series, you don’t necessarily need to read the Markham Hall series, but if you do at some point, it will only add to your experience of this series.

Earlier this year, I read and fell in love with Sierra Simone's Markham Hall Series. Needless to say, I was super excited when she decided to do a spin-off series and give us Molly & Silas' story so, when an opportunity to read and review the first book in The London Lovers series presented itself, I jumped at the chance.

I can't say this enough but Sierra's writing is something one must experience. If I was to describe it in two words, it would be 'effortless' & 'exquisite'. Not to mention, the woman knows how to write some scorching sex!

When going into this and/or Markham Hall series, don't dissect it or look to it for historical facts. You'll enjoy it so much more if you take it for what it is: exceptionally well written erotica that is set in 1800s England.

Cheers!

:::4.5 Decadent-Erotic-Emotionally-Charged Stars!:::

Wowza this was one sexy read! I have no words for Sierra Simone. Her writing never ceases to amaze me. I do love historical and pairing it with the Sierra Simone kind of eroticism makes me one happy woman. If you've read the Ivy Leavold series then you're familiar with Molly and Silas. Molly is being forced to marry to save her company but theres only one man that she wants...billionaire, playboy Silas Cecil-Coke. Their chemistry is undeniably off the charts! I could almost feel it coming off the pages in this book!

This was such an emotionally charged read. It made me angry, but at the same time it filled me with so much pleasure. This was so emotional that when the sexy times came it was powerful and beyond explosive. At one point I wasn't sure if I would be able to handle it all. Simone always manages to get me out of my comfort zone. There definitely an element of surprise for me at some parts of the story but I'm not complaining because I loved it all. The dialogue was perfect and the writing was superb as always.

What can I say...this book rocked my world!

5 "Sexy and Emotional" stars

When The Awakening of Ivy Leavold, book 1 of The Markham Hall series, came out, it was recommended to me over and over. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, I didn’t get to it right away. Man, that was a big mistake. That series was so addicting that once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down. So, when I heard the author was doing a spin-off, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.

In The Markham Hall series, Molly comes off as a very hedonistic and unconventional woman. At times she seems fun loving and carefree, at others she seems jaded and hard. In the prequel to this book, The Seduction of Molly O’Flaherty (OMG, you have to read it!), we get to see what it is that has shaped Molly into who she is and how she lives her life. As well as the “event” between her and Silas that shook her to her very foundation.

 photo Persuasion Molly Teaser 1_zpsuo6h0fqc.jpg

Silas wants nothing more than a wife and children, a family to love him unconditionally, but he doesn’t believe he deserves it after the way he’s lived his life. He does some truly disgusting things in an effort to convince himself he doesn’t have feelings for Molly. Things that break Molly’s heart and her hopes for any sort of real future for herself. Yet despite all of his mistakes, I couldn’t help but love Silas. Watching him muddle through his true emotions endeared me to him.

As for Molly, she’s a fighter. Competitive to her core, she will endure anything to keep her company. By holding on to O’Flaherty Shipping Lines, in her mind, she is winning a war against a man who has tormented her since she was 14. And you can’t help but want to shake her for being willing to sacrifice anything and everything to win, while at the same time wanting to hug her for what she has endured.

I loved everything about their story, their chemistry and emotional intensity was off the charts… But, let me tell you, it’s not just an emotional read. It’s an insanely hot read, too! Hot and kinky. You may want to turn a fan on. ;-) Yes, it’s that hot.

Overall, The Persuasion of Molly O’Flaherty is as emotional as it is sexy. Sierra Simone is my new addiction.

Warning: You’ll need an open mind and an open heart going into this one. Especially for one scene in particular that might be difficult for some. Their love affair isn’t all candy and roses. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I am a big fan of the Markham Hall series and this was a great addition to the books' universe.
This is the story of Molly and Silas. They were friends before they became lovers. But when Silas betrays Molly's trust, they are torn apart.
Molly is a strong woman and the owner of a big company. But in order to keep her company she must marry; and fast. Silas finds out but will he be the one to get her out of her tricky situation?
I liked the story. It was fast paced and passionate. Molly is a very strong woman for her time and society. She is brave and doesn't depend on anyone. Silas is a downright playboy and he enjoys sex too much to be tied down but Molly brings out a different side of his personality.
The book was easy to read I seriously cannot wait to read more about this couple. Great job.
If you enjoy historical romance with just a bit more spice, then do not miss this.

Ohhh Miss Simone!! How is it possible that I can fall more in love with you every single time I finish one of your books?!?! Because you deliver masterpieces each and every time!! And I have fallen under the spell of Silas. And your writing. Your thoughts, mind, words. EVERYTHING!!

We first met Molly O'Flaherty from The Markham Hall series. If you have not read about Ivy Leavold, then you need to get on that!!! Because, HOLY FUCKING HOTNESS!!! Who knew historical romance could be so naughty. Not this gal!!! When I first met Miss Molly, I had conflicted feelings towards her. I liked her. Then I didn't. Then I did. Then I wasn't sure. But once getting her full story, I LOVE HER!! She is one strong bad ass of a lady. And there's Silas. Ahhhh. Sexy, sweet, dirty and Ohhh so perfect Silas!! These two have had a history. For 10 years. They have been friends. And have "played" together throughout the years. But what happens when friendship turns into more? What happens when one is betrayed? And what happens when one is faced with an ultimatum? This book is filled with passion, angst, jealousy, choices, heartbreak, and of course, the hottest of the hottest sexy times ever. Sierra Simone never fails me. Each book she writes just gets better and hotter and dirtier and kinkier! I thought the infamous parlor scene, and then the hotel scene was HAF, but oh no. Wait Til you guys read one of the most erotic scenes I've ever read.

Sierra has a way with words. Her writing is timeless. It's like you almost forget what era you're reading about. The writing is that powerful that you forget everything else and it's like you become part of the story. And then when you finish, and blink and come to, you are left with a feeling that's indescribable. Sierra hit it out of the ballpark with this story, and I'm frantically refreshing my kindle, checking to see if the next installment magically pops up! If you haven't 1-clicked this yet, DO IT NOW!!

Jeez! This is one hot, sexy read!!! And Silas, OMG could he be any more sexier?? Although his loyalty to Molly falters the day (and the next) he sets foot back in London.
To save her shipping company, Molly is being forced to marry by Cunningham and Silas decides to save the day, so he thinks. In a series of event Silas, with the help of his friends, sets out to persuade Molly to choose him.
O, and keep your hankies and fans ready for the scene at Baron's house... pfffftt

Silas and Molly have been friends for more than a decade. Can’t deny the attraction between these two, so when Molly discovered Silas with another woman, Molly is devastated to the point of “didn’t want to know and hear anything about Silas” mode. Silas leaves London, to be away with Molly!

Molly’s company is in jeopardy, the company whom her father has worked hard to be a success and Molly could not just let it go without a fight. Molly is fierce, independent woman and will do everything to save her company. If getting married is the only solution to save it, so be it!

When Silas learned about Molly getting married to save her company, he readily went back to London and will try his best to get into Molly’s good side. Silas offered Molly, sort of marriage of convenience, no feelings attached, he just want children. Which Molly found absurd and turned it down! Silas is not giving up that easily, for he is determined to get Molly now that he admitted he loves her.

Will Silas be able to convince Molly that he’s the right one for her?

One more thing I like about this book/series is the camaraderie between friends like Julian, Silas, Molly & Castor (the Baron). They have each other’s back!

Sierra Simone is definitely one author I can rely on when it comes to steamy historical erotica/romance. I thank the person who introduced me to her writings. Ms. Simone knows how to capture your attention with remarkable characters and plot that will get you wanting for more and that scene between Molly, Silas, and Castor & Viola is just smokin’ HOT!!! That’s a warning, by the way! Loved this and can’t wait for book II.

I hate to say it but this one wasn't a patch on the Markham Hall series for me, even though it features the delectable Silas. I forced myself to finish it just to see how it worked out only to discover it ended on a cliffhanger.

*sigh* Love a cliffhanger ambush. It's right up there with treading on a Lego brick in bare feet for causing sudden pain and irritation I think.

Still, the smut was hot, especially if you enjoy a bit of a skirt ruffling orgy (and who doesn't?)

Well damn. I think I finally figured out what makes Sierra Simone’s characters so desirable. It's not just that she writes flawed, relatable, redeemable men and women. It's that they say and do things that continually question our values and moral judgments. They bring our pearl clutching to a whole new level because we may fan ourselves and say, "I would never!" While deep down we are saying "Oh hell yes I would!" They become so lifelike because we are all dealing with these complex situations and her characters may do things that go against the grain but they continually question and acknowledge it. They know they did a repugnant thing or let their baser desires tempt them to do "bad," but don't we all? And that, my friends, is sexy as hell.

Of course, The Persuasion of Molly O'Flaherty has all of these moral dilemmas and complex characters that we long for and expect from Ms. Simone. Along with the hottest, left-hand worthy sex around. As if she'd give us anything less than that!

Molly is a woman who has endured unspeakable acts to save her family's company and to build an empire. In a time and place where women were controlled by men, she's an anomaly with her fierce independence and fiery spirit to match her glorious red hair. She's trying to hold on to what she's built while the laws of the land are stacked against her. She's taken ownership of her healthy sexuality and will never let a man dominate her again. Or so she thinks.

In comes the delightfully charming Silas with his blue eyes and dimples and easy going charm and voracious sexual appetite. He's been a friend and casual lover for over a decade. He was always a safe bet for her because she could call the shots sexually ... Until the switch flipped and he completely and irrevocably dominated her in a time when she needed it the most. They pushed and pulled each other in ways that we don't often see in romance. This is other level writing y'all. Watching these characters grow as their boundaries are pushed and burst open had me melting and sighing and left-handing it. A lot.

I can never really articulate the hotness that happens in Sierra's books. Molly and Silas have this crazy chemistry that makes your lady bits tingle and your heart beat faster. You want them, need them, beg for them to get it on! Please for the love of all that's good and holy, just do it! Ah but the buildup feels so good. And I mean you-need-a-break-to-take-care-of-business good. Plus there is choking. Jesus. I never realized how hot that could be. And the scene at the end? Goddamn.

But once again we get much more than just hotness and sexy characters. There's a nefarious plot happening behind the scenes threatening to ruin all that Molly has built and to destroy their chances at happiness and a life together. What will happen in book 2? Will they overcome these obstacles? Will those douchebags Cunningham and Hugh burst into flames and die a thousand deaths? Let's hope so. Because I need these two to be safe and blissfully happy together.

Go one-click this book and get lost in the London Lovers series! I think you'll love it as much as I did!

Sweet baby Jesus what have I just read?

Sierra writes hot sex like no other. I'm speechless... I need gin. I need alone time!

I started with the prequel - The Seduction and :

Our beautiful, red headed wild cat Molly.

Oh Molly! Never has this joyful bundle of love and laughter been so sad. There is an evil villain a foot and I for one want to see him punished, not in a sexy Ivy/Julian kind of punishment but in I'm going to chop you into little bits and feed you to the pigs! Grrrrrrrrrr!

Along comes our hero Silas - both figuratively and literally. He is a sexy MF. I want to watch him undo his cuff links and peel of his crisply starched white shirt.

Nice little prequel and now for the main event.

Time to get out the corset and do some bodice ripping.

I recall saying something along the lines of - meh! If I want historical give me my all time favourite Hardy. I'll accept Austen and raise you with Bronte. Then along comes one of my favourite blogs with their dirty quotes and I had to taste this modern historical romance. And taste I did. Ivy Leavold - I convinced myself Ivy and I were one. Hello, Yorkshire lass here! But Ivy wasn't born in Yorkshire.

Then good golly Miss Molly. My ancestors came from Ireland. Not County Clare but near enough. They moved to Liverpool. I claim kin. Farrelly for me O'Flaherty for her - cousins?

I always loved Silas. Dark. Sexy. Blue eyed Adonis. I loved Molly's fierce - I am a woman in a man's world persona. She has a head for business and a bod for sin. She is provocative. She is promiscuous. She is perfection.

And who knew - this strong, powerful woman, so admirable could be bullied. Gah! Fight Molly. Fight.

Silas has a ticking clock and a throbbing c**k. Because he loves Mary Margaret aka Molly. Because they would have beautiful blue eyed babies. Because Hugh! Because Cunningham! Because the maze. Because Viola! Because I have promised Sierra my kids, my car, my cat, my house sod it take a kidney too just please. Molly has to save her father's shipping company but not like that!

Help. Help! Send in the cavalry. Send in the French foreign legion. Send in the fucking clowns just save my cousin Molly.

4.5 spanks and a summer breeze stars

"I'd been corrupted. Corrupted so thoroughly that I was in danger of becoming a good person."

description
We enjoyed watching Molly O’Flaherty and Silas Cecil-Coke trawl across Europe in a hedonistic haze in the Markham Hall series. Molly being the brazen redhead, and Silas the sunny charmer to Julian’s somber self.

Molly and Silas had previous carnal experience of each other on a regular basis, but things had shifted. Before either could consider the ramifications of it, a bust up ensued causing Silas to retreat to France.

Molly, meanwhile, was in a predicament where she had been instructed by her company that she must marry in order to maintain control. Julian Markham had sent word to Silas, who immediately returned to England to make a play for her fair hand.

What he didn’t expect was not only rejection, but also rebuke.

If you were expecting an uplifting dalliance, you would have been disappointed. However, the story is riveting, and my newly popped historical cherry was shining with delight.

This was a story of an unconditional fight to save Molly’s Father’s company, regardless of the cost to Molly. Her emotions and any chance of a happy future have to be aligned with the business.

We see Silas fight not only his affections for Molly, but the thought of not being the suitor for her. What’s the hidden agenda?

We know Molly’s betrayal, but how will it all turn around? I hope it does..I hope she gets her man..

This was a pretty good book. Molly O'Flaherty needs to marry in order to save her company. Silas Cecil-Coke and Molly had an affair a year before and it didn't end well but Silas is determined to marry her. We got to meet these two in The Markham Hall Series. Molly is very independent and sexually confident. Silas is a rich playboy who is handsome and knows how to seduce he is at a crossroads in his life and he wants Molly. This was a good book and it was hot. Silas broke Molly and she has vowed to never let that happen again no matter what her heart and inner desire says. Silas must do his best as winning her back, even if it means not playing fair. This was a really good book and I found myself rooting for them to make it. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling like the first book in this series. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

While still not as enthralling as the Markham Hall series, this official first book in the London Lovers duet exceeded expectations. I did have some qualms about the characterizations, but that spicy ending scene was perfection. It encapsulated everything I loved about Molly and Silas in the Markham Hall series.

As you can probably guess, that ending scene was the only thing I really liked. The rest faltered a bit. Silas was a bit of a chump and a jerk in this book. The idea of him being so incredibly infatuated with Molly and marriage didn't quite mesh. He also took on a bit of a domme role that didn’t make much sense, though the book did eventually try to explain their role reversals. The characterizations were a bit off, in my opinion, until that very last scene.

Verdict
I'll be looking forward to the final book now that things have finally picked up steam (and gotten steamy). It's a fun read even if the characters aren't quite what I expected.

Dang, Sierra Simone writes the steamiest most well written books I have ever read. I mean, there is a time and place for some smut and I do like it occasionally but Sierra somehow makes her erotic literature so much more than just sexy. Her books are beautifully written and so very sensual. I swear every time I read her stories I can feel the heat just crawl up my neck and hit my face. It takes a lot to make this professional romance reader blush but somehow Sierra manages to do it with every book. Silas and Molly were no exception. They were super steamy together.

But what I loved most about this story was the drama and Silas. This series is actually a spin off of the Markham Hall series and while I loved Julian, I think that Silas beat him by a bit and really stole my heart. Maybe it is because Silas is so sweet and likable. He is quite funny and makes a lot of bad decisions but he also is just so terribly fun and delightful. It was hard not to fall in love with him. His playboy ways are of course a part of his charm but he really warmed my heart with his genuine love for Molly. Even when at times when his actions were questionable, I was still rooting for him and Molly.

‘I.
Was.
Not.
In love.
With Molly O’Flaherty.’

And Molly. Lord, her story is so incredibly sad and I admit that I didn’t like her much in the Markham Hall series but she really came across as a completely different person in this book. You really find out what has hardened Molly and why she is the way she is and it is truly heart breaking. I found myself admiring her tough exterior and soft fragile insides.

“Don’t call me darling,”
“And don’t pull that playboy shit on me. We both know better.”

As always this book was impeccably written as is the case with all of Sierra’s books although I am a little mad about the huge cliffy at the end of this one. I am dying for the next book. DYING! The Persuasion of Molly O’Flaherty is sexy beyond reason, sweet, angsty, and intriguing. I am simply in love with Silas and Molly being in love and I cannot wait for more.

“You deserve my blood and my pain and my torture. You deserve to watch me branded with hot iron, and I would do it gladly, if only to spend that much more time with you.”

TW: Sexual assault, rape (talked about in the past), pedophilia, dubious consent

Even though I really enjoyed this, I do want to talk about the sexual assault aspect. How it is written in this series will upset people, especially people who are still in the beginning stages of healing from sexual trauma. I do not know where I stand with one of the graphic scenes being implemented but I hope that by the third (and final) book in this series that it was thrown in there for a purpose. So far, I see why this knowledge is helpful but I don't understand the need for it to be graphic. That said, I do think that Molly's way of dealing with her sexual trauma is handled well, but, that is in my opinion, and from my own experiences with my sexual trauma and I do see how many people will/could be upset by this portrayal.

Other than that, I really loved this installment. I love the characters and their dynamics. I love the huge cast of friends and the sexual freedom that all the characters possess. This book even solidified that I love second chance romances and will definitely seek more of them out in the future. I also really love how Sierra Simone writes her characters and overall their relationships

Sierra Simone continues to be an author that rocks my reader world. With her phenomenal writing, her dynamic characters that are distinctive in the best way, and with the literal spark that exudes from the pages of her books, she continues to blow me away with every book she has. I have loved each and every one of her stories something fierce because they are always memorable in the most unique way, always so fulfilling, and always beyond consuming through every page. It's easy to say that she is one of my favorite authors, and she continues to prove that with every new book I read from her. The way that she makes her stories, her characters, and the worlds they live in so authentic, so unforgettable, and so mesmerizing truly sets her books in a league of their own.

Now I have to say after having devouring the Markham Hall Series I was beyond ready to see what Molly's story with Silas would bring. I completely become entranced by those two while reading those books, so to say I was excited for this duet is putting it mildly. Now while you don't have to read The Markham Hall Series to read this one, I would still recommend reading those first just to see more of these amazing characters and where they all started. Plus that series is soooooo good!!

The start of this book find Molly and Silas apart after things got a bit to messy between them. You see those two run in a circle of people who like things on the more wild and open side, yet 8 months ago they found themselves drawing closer and closer to one another. Soon things between them went to the next level, surprising them both, and ultimately leading to a turn of events that they both regret. Now these two find themselves reuniting for the first time in months and having to figure out how their supposed to handle the world of feelings they share, along with the hurt and regret that hangs over them both. Throw in the fact that Molly is facing the most difficult decision of her life in order to protect her business, and you have the makings of a seriously incredible story. From the very first page, until the very last of this book, Silas and Molly will show you what it means to have a second chance at it all when the stake are at their highest, and nothing is easy.

I loved every word of this story with Molly and Silas. I loved how much those two felt with all that they had. I loved how much they both fought against what they felt, and how much they tried to ignore their feelings, yet still couldn't stop the train that was their hearts and that spark that pulled them together. This story wasn't easy on the two of them, and it pushed them both emotionally to the rawest and realest of levels, and in the end that made their story utterly phenomenal to experience. Sierra Simone completely gives you it all with them in this book. She lets you understand them, their fears, their worries, and she lets you feel their hearts as if their your own. She allows you to live and breathe and experience every word of what these characters do, and that makes this story come to life in the most enjoyable of ways.

Getting to be with Silas and Molly as they experienced what they did during their second chance at it all pulled at my heart so many times, and had me hoping with all that I had that these two would figure out a way to be together. I won't lie, the odds are definitely stacked against these two, but every single ounce of heartfelt emotion and pull they share will give you that hope for them both and what could be. And don't even get me started on how amazing the spark was between them. Every second those two were together was one fire, and had me blushing and melting at everything they were sharing. Through every word of this story, their connection heightened to new levels that had me chomping at the bit for more. That pull, that connection, and that spark brought their love and feelings to life in the absolute best way.

Through every word of this book I was so hooked into everything these characters were sharing. I was invested in them, falling head over heels for them and everything they were sharing, and I was loving them with all I had. Sierra Simone connects you to them, she throws you into a real, consuming, and phenomenal world that you won't be able to get enough of, and in the end you will be dying to get your hands on more of Molly and Silas. Those two completely owned me through every word of this book. Whether it was Molly's perfect mix of strength, fire, and vulnerability, or Silas' charm, endearing nature, and blossoming dominance, I loved those two and every moment with them in this book so much.

If you are looking for another amazing series to read, then I am telling you, you NEED these books in your life. They are spectacular in every way. They are so well written, unputdownable, and you will love every word of them!

I read this last week just because I felt like reading something that is purely fun and doesn't have much plot and on that it certainly delivered. It was an okay read but I didn't really feel interested in any of the characters. The writing was good though.
