---------- Dear Readers: This is part one of a five part paranormal werewolf shifter romance serial. The story begins in The Alpha's Mark, continues in Sweet Submission, Rising Heat, and Pack Wars, and concludes in Choosing an Alpha. These books contain sizzling hot sex scenes that know no bounds (not even when it comes to multiple partners). These wolves like it rough! If you’re not into that, you might want to sit this one out. However if you like hot, dominant, alpha male werewolf shifters, and the kickass heroines who will do anything to please them, then click away and enjoy the ride!
As a civil lawyer, I spent many, many years writing complex legal briefs for unappreciative bosses. To keep from stabbing myself (or them) in the eye with a fork during all of that, I also started writing down the stories in my head. All on my own time, of course ;) Turns out, I'm a sucker for hot, alpha male shifters and kickass heroines.
Now, I've thrown away my shingle (er - more like burned it in a fire pit) so I can devote my time to bringing you sizzling, erotic, paranormal romance stories. If you like hunky, bad boy shifters, women who know what they want in and out of the bedroom, panty-melting sex scenes, and edge of your seat suspense, I've got you covered! We'll put the rahr in erotic romance (okay, okay, that sounded better in my head).

TITLE: The Alpha's Mark SERIES: (Claimed by the Pack) AUTHOR: Kimber White GENRE: Romance- shapeshifters PUBLICATION: September 17, 2015 MY RATING: 5 STARS
I received an advanced review copy of the author's book to give an honest review.
Another excellent, well-written love story between a sexy alpha shapeshifter.. Kimber White is off to a great start with "The Alpha's Mark".I read it in one day, I got pulled into the story and it kept my attention throughout, and I couldn't let go until I found out what was going to happen next. I enjoyed the characters and at no time did it get predictable or boring. I thought the book was thrilling and hot! I couldn't wait to turn the page. So unfair to leave me hanging ... I can't wait for the second book!
The beginning was very well staged, promising a good story and it is well written, with enough description to really put you out there. However, the moment it kick-started, its already over. Neve's acceptance and turnaround is way too hurried considering the personality she was given. It all felt a bit like a precocious teenager ("you done already?!"). There is no middle, and the end feels like the author changed her mind and just wanted to get it over with. For me, that is not a cliffhanger, but a story not finished. Also, I really dont understand the point of taking a story and breaking it in numerous books in the name of a "serie". Books in good series still each have a story of their own (with a plot and some conclusion, even with a cliffhanger, and even in short stories). In short, this is my second book by this author, and I believe the author has a lot of potential, but she needs to work on adding depth to the plot and bring it to more complex level, such as she already does with the staging of the story in the beginning.
I got this book for free for a honest review. I was curious what I would think of it, but with a sexy werewolf in it, I was hopeful. The moment I started reading I got sucked in to the story from the beginning, feeling the situation which she was in. In the dark, in her car, in bad weather in a forest, creepy setting. And at that moment it happens, the wolf in front of her car and she can't help it, she hits the wolf. But she gets out of the car and gives the wolf some comfort at her last moments. So lovely to read, great start. And after that it only gets better. Her meeting Tucker, him being on time to rescue her from the bad wolves. I was just waiting for him to show up at that moment, almost shouting at him to hurry. And the way Tucker was described in his naked glory, OMG, hot! And how he threats her and prepares her for their mating, even hotter. pffff. And what happens after that, so real.
Looking forward to read more in this series, hopefully the second part is as good and sexy hot as this one.
I don't particularly like cliffhanger endings because then I feel pressured to buy the next book, or next part of the book. I also wasn't a fan of how she was changed to drastically by the mark. I didn't mind the writing, so it was merely alright.
Okay, so this probably isn't the best written book ever, but if you're in to steamy romance, it's bloody great. I honestly could not put it down! I did feel like Tucker was a bit intense, but that really fit the setting though. I was a bit sad to see that Neve completely lost herself and turned in to a needy schoolgirl, but okay. I really did like it.
I'm also glad that White stated how to pronounce Neve in the beginning parts of the book, since I kept thinking it as Neeve, instead of Nev. Thanks for that, otherwise I would've said it wrong for the entire series lol.
Quick easy and decent read. I felt confused in the beginning. I think the first couple chapters were a little wordy and unnecessary then everything started moving really quickly. Not necessarily a bad thing I just wish she spend more time emphasizing that stuff instead of the beginning.
I loved this story! Neve and Tucker are great characters. She is a human and hits and kills a wolf that is actually a shifter. Tucker is a wolf shifter who takes her to mate and is determined to protect her . This is a terrific story with lots of action and steam. It is a wonderful start for a series. I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a very quick read and ended with a cliffhanger. I thought it was a pretty good book with some interesting character development that I would like to see play out in the next book.
No plot spoilers No potential triggers There are some errors but not enough to kill the book There characterisation is poor, I didn't care one way or the other if Neve died, and the male lead, Tucker, has about as much personality as a dead fish. It's a short story but that shouldn't excuse lazy writing. I feel absolutely no urge to read the next in the series. More effort has gone into the sex scenes and considering it's a short story there are, I think, three sex scenes. I don't recall any swearing, but I swear I kept expecting Neve to utter golly or gosh. Whilst everything is dreamlike, of course. The plotline is so thin you can see daylight and I know it's setting the scene for the next book book but I won't be purchasing it. I can't recommend it to fans of the shifter genre because there's very little of it.
Neve is alone in this world after her fathers death. She plans to start living her life and trying to enjoy her age. She is driving to start college through a rainy day when it seems fate has stepped in to keep her where she is. A tree, a hill and a wolf in the way. It is an accident and she doesn’t realize that the wolf she hit was a shifter and she is in serious danger. Luckily a park ranger comes to the scene. This will lead her to meet Tucker and she’s confused by the emotions he brings out in her. Tucker wants her and chooses to mark her as his. Will his pack approve? Will the dead wolfs pack come for her? Will this mean war? I can’t wait to read the next in the series. This one was short but fast paced.
On the fence as this series begins. These are super-short novellas in sequence. This opening throws us immediately into a crisis and we don't seem to leave the crisis. I wasn't quite sure where it was going until the insta-lust hits... it's a different tone to the shifter world, for me. And when the tingles start we dive into smut, and then get whiplash into tenderness and care. And then hit a deadstop just as we're picking up steam in the story itself.
The book is short, easy to read, and does pull you along. You do want to start the next book when this one stops. But I'm not entirely comfortable with what's going on. It's high anxiety for a very stretch of book. I'm leaning toward it being Smut>Story.
I am extremely disappointed and I wanted to warn you about this book. I was really getting into it when it turned out to be one of those books that leave a cliffhanger and if you want to find out what happens, you have to keep buying more. No one should be so overly confident as to think we have to read on! It does the opposite to me, I get so mad that I write down the name and never buy anything from that writer again! I don't like being played and I will spread the word. Being deceptive is not the way to become renown.
Good start. Neve is driving to college and hits a wolf on the road. She senses something is different about the wolf. She meets Tucker who instantly intrigues her.
Wolves attack, Tucker rescues Neve, hot sex ensues, Neve finds out a Tucker is a wolf. Boom, end of story.
Not really enough to qualify as a great novella. It reads more like the author arbitrarily chopped up a book into parts. I get, I do. Make part one free to entice readers to buy the next installment. Not really riveting enough to rush out and buy the next one.
Short and cliffhanger. My fault for not fully comprehending the blurb or reading reviews to understand that. I don’t like the ones where you need to buy the additional ones to get to the end of the story but some are done nicely and I can give them a pass. This isn’t one of them. I liked Neve enough but we just met Tucker and i don’t know that I like him...or want to. I won’t purchase number 2 since it goes to number 5 to get the full story. Not for me...sad because it had a touch of promise.
It was good, it has drama, adventure, action, mystery and hot sex! The only thing was at first I thought Neve was attracted to Jake but it turn out to be Tucker. Also, it went kind of fast between Tucker and Neve. Either way story is good, but it end with a cliffhanger which sadly can't continue because you have to buy the book instead of having as unlimited kindle for free reading.
This is my second time reading this story. I ordered the book that comes as a complete series. This book left me needing a mop and my husband haha. I fell in love with Tucker just as Neve did. This book was so good, I was able to picture it very well in my mind and stay focused. I almost threw the book, especially when Mal and Trucker and Neve were going through it! In the end this made my list of rereads and a special place in my heart! Excited to read Mals journey. Will he keep his promise??
Short but still sweet. Really liked it. Kind of made me think of Twilight but not completely. I am eager to read the rest of this series. I would love for this to become a movie , but i know that it would'nd be the same if it did. I give this book 5stars. I mean , how can i not ? Hope the rest of this series is equally good or even better.
This book is fast paced, just how I like it. It's also very thrilling and not disappointing, there are so many twists to keep the reader on edge.
We have a girl who is being sought by 3 alphas. In the end, she follows her heart. You'd fall In love with all of the male characters. The heroine is loveable too.

You need to read all 5 books as they are segments of the same book
It has started off as a really good story, and the following 4 books can be ordered from kimber whites website. The series is called "claimed by the pack", the book set is approximately £19.00 at the moment for all five books. I read the first one for free on kindle. Happy reading.
Wow This is a good book. I read it in one sitting. Neve is a strong women and goes through a lot. Then get in a car accident, and wolf trouble. Dose she get to college, will she get her life on track. What happen next. To find out more pick up your copy, your favorite drink and enjoy.
OMGoodness! I am new to Ms. White's writing, but now that I've had a bite (pun intended), I can't wait to read more! Neve and Tucker meet by accident, literally, but can we really say fate didn't play a roll in making their acquaintance?
Seriously, I was mad at the point where it stopped. I mean, I want to know what happens next!! The story is hot, especially with the shapeshifters~I'm most curious of the bond. Can't wait to see how it develops and what it does.

This first in a series is one that you can't just put down, you are drawn in and the eyes and mind want to consume every word. The cliffhanger ending will leave you hungering for the next in the series.
This book was great. The emoition and the steamy scenes was sweet. The struggles and conflicts was heartwarming. It was well written and well executed. I received this book as a complimentary ARC and this is my honest review.
