Interesting to read, good advice on the psychology of poker, but I have played poker with friends maybe 5 times in my life and consider myself to be a beginner in poker, but even with that I didn’t read anything new in this book. All the stuff could’ve been summarized in a blog post. I hoped to see some more advanced topics such as strategies, some calculations that are relevant to know, since this book claims to have everything one needs to know “from beginner to expert”. As a beginner, I didn’t get much value from it. Read this only if you have never played poker and want to prepare yourself for first time playing. Otherwise, I would look for a another book.
