Direction Teacher: The Christian Community Comes Alive
The study of this quarter is focused on the material from Acts as a narrative of the early church. Acts gives us a glimpse into the life of the community of disciples and shows how the Gospel was spread through such a community through the power of the Holy Spirit to all nations.

UNIT 2 • THE CHALLENGES OF THE The five lessons in this unit show how the church endured growing pains when different challenges presented themselves outside the boundaries of Jerusalem.
UNIT 3 • THE MISSION OF THE The four lessons in this unit focus on Paul’s second missionary journey and the intentional ways that he and his companions partnered with the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel among the Gentiles.
