SAINT RITA is well-known for having endured a nearly “impossible” family situation with an abusive husband—who was eventually stabbed to death—and two sons who swore vengeance on the killers. And yet her courageous and persistent prayers helped her survive her husband’s abuse and brought her sons to forgive their father’s assassins. After the deaths of her sons, Rita entered the monastery of Saint Mary Magdalene to become an Augustinian nun. While in prayer before the crucifix, she received on her forehead a stigmatic wound said to have been caused miraculously by a thorn in Christ’s crown of thorns.Saint Rita, therefore, is an inspiration to all hurt and wounded persons to feel their emotional pain consciously—rather than hide it behind psychological defenses—and, refusing to fall into hatred, anger, and revenge, to give the pain to Christ, trusting in His perfect justice. In This short Kindle Book you will find the Life + Novenas and Prayers to Saint Rita The Patron Saint of The Impossible.
I’m converting to Catholic because of Saint Rita. I know the book said to pray for 9 days to get your wish granted, but Saint Rita heard my prayer after praying to her on the 4th day to intercede to Jesus for me for grandma’s health to recover, miraculously the next day the doctor told us that grandma will be fine and that she can leave the ICU sooner than expected. I am so humble and grateful and I thank Saint Rita for hearing my prayer and for interceding to Jesus for me. She is truly a miracle saint. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
