This book is great for that granola type of person. I am not one of those people. This book has a great introduction for how to use the book and the importance of fueling up before during and after training. The recipes themselves have good merritt, this is just not my type of fare. There are a few of these items that I would try. Most of them seem simple enough and not too intensive. I would recommend this book to some of my friends, that would actually use this type of thing.
As expected, some of the snacks/meals in here are bird food like and/or not very appetizing to look at but there are some really good looking, healthy options. It also has information about what to eat before/after/during your workout.
What a great selection of recipes to choose from...before, during and after your workout. They are simple and easy to prepare using ingredients that one usually has on hand. I will definitely add several of these to my fitness meal plan.
