The photography is beautiful and I LOVE some of these patterns! How do these quilters keep finding new ways to put fabric and color together? The quilt inspired by crystals is so interesting- well, I am thoroughly engrossed in this gorgeous book. Right now I am learning about flying geese and Emma does something amazing with them!!

I read this again because I wanted the full instructions for the Nellie Gray quilt. This quilt has stayed in the top 5 quilts I'd like to make, so if I have all the instructions, maybe it will move up to #1. I have used these elongated diamonds made of flying geese in other quilts since I learned about them from this book.

By the Bundle by Emma Jean Jansen, Australia, 2016, Lucky Spool Media, read June 2019. She blogs at emmajeanjansen.com.au and lives in Australia. I thought she did a lot of things right in making a quilting book to appeal to the modern quilters. She designs fabric for Ella Blue available from Charles Parson. The photos of her quilts were awesome, taken at different locations in Australia.

Great beginner quilts with great instructions. Will have to do Diamond and Squares pattern for fabrics/prints I want to show off. Strips of Tricks is pretty good too.

I loved the amazing ideas in this book, it really inspired me to get quilting. I really want to make one of the quilts in it now, it was a rainbow quilt with triangles and it seemed so simple to make that one of these days I am going to make it. I loved all the tips this book had to sewing and different ideas to help with making nice quilts. It also has beautiful photographs and good instructions of how to make the many quilts mentioned. It was a really good book.
