This is must reading if you are Mad Men fan. Mad Men is my all-time favorite TV show. The collection of interviews in this two volume set is wonderful and gives loads of behind the scenes details that motivate you to go to Netflix and binge-watch the episodes again. There is no need to ever be in a "show hole" when one can watch Mad Men yet again.

There are interviews with Matt Weiner, the writers (my favorite section of the book), the directors of photography and cinematographer, the executive producer, the costume designer Janie Bryant, the production designer who built the sets, a few pages showing the ads from the show, and an interview with Jon Hamm, of course.

The books are coffee table sized and loaded with photos. The other volume is over 600 pages of photos and excerpts from the scripts, which is a delight to page through on a rainy day or when you need a change of pace. The volumes come in a slipcase and there is also a cardboard briefcase style box for storage.

A perfect companion to the show, specially for the care and respect for the workmanship and artistry of everyone involved.
Expensive, but worth every cent.
