In their attempt to seek refuge with the Black Sun’s opposition organization, the Brigade Apostate, Sam and Nina are pressed with the task of locating the missing leader of the Black Sun and delivering her within a designated time frame. If they do not, three of their friends will be executed. The council, upper-level members of the Black Sun, is also seeking the missing leader, Renata, and the members have a good idea that billionaire Dave Purdue might be harboring her since he kidnapped her after defecting from their ranks. While Sam and Nina are looking for Renata, they team up with Dave Purdue and his sister, Agatha, to assist in locating an ancient journal for Agatha’s clients. But the journal holds more than historical value. Its riddles contain the location of the Atlantis Scrolls, the actual records on which the location of the legendary submerged continent is mentioned. As the four of them progress in finding clues, Agatha learns that her clients are not who they seem and that her brother and his friends are in far more danger than they know. Now Sam and Nina have to uncover the secrets of the Atlantis Scrolls while evading the council and appeasing the Brigade Apostate. Will they be able to save their friends before being detained or killed? Or will they find the lost continent of Atlantis in their pursuit of truth locked in the papyrus of ancient history? The Atlantis Scrolls leads the reader on a roller-coaster ride in search of a legend. Packed with breathtaking suspense and nerve-shredding action, The Atlantis Scrolls is a thrilling read for all fans of action, suspense, and intrigue.
Still learning about writing and marketing books. When I'm not writing, I'm usually checking out single malts at The Black Cat, Rose St, Edinburgh. Join me :-)
Another great book in this series. I enjoyed it right to the end, and then it just stopped, no more info about anything. I t just ended without an ending. That really frustrated me. This was already on my list of least likes then the awful ending. I guess I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you are reading the whole series. Another one like this may cause me to stop reading more.
I am really starting to get attached to the main characters. Book 7 flew by too fast, but 8 is already downloaded so there is that. The entire series is really just one big book of adventures split up in manageable pieces. A really good read individually or as a whole, this series does not fail to please.
Sam, David, and Nina are back in book 7 for the spear that spreaced the side of Jesus's side while he hung on the Cross, or are they ? What they find is more truth about themselves, more people who want them dead, and a new factation who may or may not be part of Black Sun Order. They also found David's twin sister and the scrolls from the City of Atlantis.
I love reading these books. The adventures and mystery about the different places they go to sound so wonderful. It drives my family!y crazy cause I won't put the book down till I found out what happens.
Book 7 unfortunately was a let down. It felts like a short story when the author couldn't decide what to write about next. Hopefully book 8 will continue with the real story and more adventure.
Job to find an ancient journal, that has historic value, but also the legend of the scrolls. Find or there will be killing. Fast action and adventure in this one. Given audio which was good for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
Fighting the "Order of the Black Sun " for Atlantis
Sam reconnects with billionaire Dave; Nina can't figure out which of THREE men she wants; the Order has a schism; billionaire Dave encounters his twin sister--the smart one; the leader of the Black Sun might have been deposed, kidnapped or assassinated; in this novel the action never stops. Our heroes find tunnels and treasure under the triangular S.S. Castle, only to be betrayed and captured. One of our heroes betrays all his companions, but why? I almost got whiplash reading this novel, with all the battles and plot twists.
Intrigue abounds and people die when our heroes along with Purdue clash with both members of the Black Sun and the group who severed in ties with the Black Sun and have vowed to destroy them. A surprise twist when Purdue's twin sister shows up wanting to enlist Nina's help in locating an ancient codex and in the process find ancient scrolls that may lead to the lost continent of Atlantis.
Much better than some of the other ones in the series. I enjoyed the new factions that came into play. Things begin to get interesting with the love relationships as well.
