Outlaw Country

Rate this book
Colton doesn't give a damn. Period. Colton Wade is outlaw country. He doesn't care what or who he trashes. As long as he gets a groupie and a drink after the show, he'll go to bed more than satisfied. He's a rising star with his eyes on the prize, and nothing is going to stand his way. Gracie Hart is as pure as pure can be, but she doesn't see that as a good thing. She's a pop-princess looking to lose some of that purity. It ain't the easiest ask with her mother managing her career and her every step. Gracie is ready to do a little living, and Colton might just be the man to make her a woman. When their record company brings the two stars together to sing a duet, there's more than just musical harmony. There's no doubt in Colton's mind that he has to have her. Gracie's mother knows Colton is no good, and she'll do whatever it takes to make sure Gracie stays as pure as white sheets drying in the Georgia breeze.

my thanks to the author for a review copy of this book.
Overall I found it a quick, enjoyable read that was well written but there were a few editing errors that had me stopping to reread a sentence thinking I had read it wrong .. mostly pronouns in the wrong gender ie. he/she; his/hers etc ... not a lot just enough to distract me.
Kathleen's fear of seeing her past replay with her daughter and of letting herself be happy could have destroyed so many and this played out almost as a second main storyline after the main good girl/bad boy romance. Loved the music setting.
Also, loved the epilogue .. it brought plenty of smiles and happy dances. (sept 16 2015)

re-read prior to reading Kitt's story, enjoyed it just as much the second time round ... shows how the love of a good woman can reform a bad boy. mmm..mm

It took me a bit to get into this story. It was just hard to start. I am not really into the Music Scene. Davida gave her characters a real good sense of who they should be. Colton is the High Rogue but being on his own since he was 14 he plays like he is a God. Drunk! Gracie has his mother for a manager and she just wants to let loose. Her mother wants her little girl. I liked this story by the end. I hope you will get this book. I wish this came with the real music. Enjoy your reading!

Colton loved the perks of playing his music, the drinks and the women. Gracie was a pop and country sensation and when they are to record a duet together sparks fly and so does the pencils. The good girl and bad boy are perfect for each other if her mom can stay out of it. Colton and Gracie are the perfect pair, like Johnny and June, Loretta and Conway. This book was just what is needed.

Received an ARC for an honest review! Do you know what it feels like to give and receive unconditional love? Outlaw Country will give you a feeling of wanting to find it. This is a book that gives a mixture of country and pop music. Colton is a man that has the playboy attitude and dirty mouth but feels like he is missing one thing in his life. There is so much more to Coltons character and once you find out his story you will want to cheer for him. Gracie is the pop princess that has a mom manager and Gracie wants to break free. These two come together and a fire ignites. Colton and Gracie work so well together. They find a balance for each other. Gracie finds that she has more strength and confidence than what she thought. Colton feels the connection with Gracie. There are emotions that flow throughout this read. I laughed at some of the conversations and sass that occurred. I felt hope and love for Colton and Gracie. There are side characters that will give you a good little jolt to the system. By the time I finished this book I felt like I was going to burst with emotions. Will Gracie and Colton find what they are looking for in each other or will the outside world keep them from having strength, confidence and unconditional love? Take the journey with Gracie and Colton to find out what their full story holds! I look forward to more from Davida Lynn! She always has the ability to reach inside my mind and pull me into the story with the characters! Well Done Davida Well Done!

Outlaw Country is about a badboy self indulgent country singer who meets his match in many ways when he sings a single with Gracie Hart the epitome of a good girl pop star with a dragon for a mother. These two have sparks flying off them from the very second they are in a room together. They are so different and yet they make the best music together.

Colton is brash, course and direct, while Gracie is has a hidden temper. This book also has a secondary romance that is kind of sweet. The romance between Gracie and Colton is steamy, the sex scenes aren't overly descriptive.

I enjoyed Part 1 completely. The writing was good. The characters were fun. The plot is a used one but it was done very well. Part 2 was where I had my issues, and I'm sure they are mine. It just didn't make sense to me. This would be good for anyone looking for a sweet romance.

Two lead singers, one bad boy Colton with his hottest lyrics that made all the honeys wet and wild for his way's the wild parties and women made him more then manager could or couldn't handle at times. But all of that would and could have to change their label want the two to go as a duet with a famous singer, one good girl Gracie with her mother as well as her manager. Gracie is one of the famous singer out there thank to her manger being a single mother knowing this wasn't a forever deal. Like a good girl she has a little secret that could drive Colton crazy for more. (hehe...) Little do the two lead singer know what's going on behind the scenes between their Manager could be more then professional.
Being my first book that I've read by Davida Lynn, called Out Law Country. I love her story line and how she make one good girl more then she seem to be behind the scenes.

Bad Boy Country Singer meets Good Girl Pop Star!!!

I was given an ARC for an Honest Review.

He's the bad boy her mother fears about and she's the virgin feeling like she needs to really start living her life, but how can she with an overpowering mother that is also her manager.

He just wants to have a good time! That is until he meets The Gracie Hart, and man does he want some of that! How can he get her alone and away and show her a good time. But he is thing that just might ruin her and her career.

Thrown together to record a song for charity there is instant chemistry. Colton needs Gracie 'like a guitar needs fingertips.' Can they survive through the craziness that lays ahead?

This book was a great read, very easy and enjoyable. With the added bonus of some hot scenes to enhance your mood.

Love is a hard road to go down, especially if your always into trouble and don't want any help getting out of it. That's Colton's problem when he sees Gracie he sees the stars. But with all his press time with the law, women and maybe a fight here and and there. Colton is not exactly the angel of county. Gracie on the other hand is. She is pure and sweet. But there is a fire just waiting to be released when ever she looks at Colton now that they are doing a record and a tour together. Will these two star crossed kids be able to beat the odds? Or will being from different sides of the same track keep them apart?

I started reading Davida Lynn's MC books and boy, were they riveting. They had my attention from the first chapter, to the latest book. I couldn't be any happier when I was given a chance to read the ARC copy of her latest release.

Colton is the new "bad boy" of country music leading the "rock and roll" lifestyle. Gracie is the pop princess with the Momager, who is overly sheltered but dying to break free of the mold she's stuck in. Put the two together and they'll either have a one heck of a concert, or burn their careers and relationship to ashes!

Don't forget to pick up the free copy of The Brawl for more Colton and his brother Kitt!

I received copy for honest review.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. Colton is a cocky, playboy country singer. He's used to getting any woman he wants. He doesn't have a care in the world. Gracie is a smart, sassy good girl. Gracie is shelter by her mom-manager and Colton loves to party. The chemistry between them was hot. They are thrown together to sing a duet and sparks fly!! I love the connection they have. Book is well written and very enjoyable read. Looking forward to reading more by Davida and hope to see more of Colton and Gracie.

I just love when I stumble on to a good book/series, what an unexpected surprise this book was. Not only was this a sweet romance story but you also get a sexy as sin, panty melting country rockstar (yeah baby), what more can you ask for? This is a story about Colton a bad boy country rocker who lives a life of excess with no boundaries, drinks too much and is a total man whore and Gracie a country singing sweetheart that ends up rocking Colton's world and makes him want to be a better man. Great chemistry between Colton and Gracie and a great start to a new series!

Colton is lead singer with his band and all the girls he could want until he teams up with Gracie Hart. He is on his way to the top and knows it and no one is going to stand in his way.

Gracie Hart is as pure as the driven snow but is wanting to lose that imagine but its not that easy to do with her mom managing her carerr and her every waking moment.

Will Colton help Gracie do a little bit on living on the wild side? Definitely a must read to see how the attraction between Colton and Gracie end up

Colton and Gracie

I absolutely loved the story of Colton and Gracie!! I'm so happy that Gracie's mom, Kathleen, and Colton's manager, Roger, became a couple too. If you're looking for a quick read, then Outlaw Country is definitely the book for you. I recommend this book to everyone. Who doesn't love hot sexy musicians? Colton also has a gorgeous brother, Kitt. Hopefully, we will get to read his story in the future!!

Bad boy country singer Colton meets good girl pop/country sensation Gracie.
This duet has the potential of making amazing music together if only Mom & manager, Kathleen, could loosen the reins long enough to give her daughter a chance at a grown up life, and find her own happiness in the process.
A nice heartwarming story with minimum drama.
