Same book with a new cover.Kelley Williams was a Paranormal Investigator. It was something she held a passion for. So when her team finally got permission to investigate an old cemetery, Kelley could barely contain her excitement. She had wanted to investigate this particular cemetery for a while now. She had heard all the stories about the spirits there, and she couldn't wait to find out if they were right. This was a dream come true she never expected it to turn into her worst nightmare.
“True” paranormal stories are one of my favorites when I’m feeling tired or out of sorts. I have an open mind about these things, but I honestly don’t care if they’re really true or not (or if the author believes it).
Unless the story is completely ridiculous, like this one. The narrator goes investigating in a graveyard and gets chased around by a Latin-spouting pig demon that follows her home, physically yeets her around and finally burns down her house. It’s totally over the top.
And the writing is terrible. It needs a lot of editing and several dozen fewer exclamation points. Lots of continuity problems too. The narrator describes herself as a “thirty year old ghost hunter” and then a few pages later states she’s been married twenty years. She has a digital camera but needs to wait for photos to be developed.
The blurb on Amazon warns us that the author cannot be responsible for any harm that befalls us from reading this book. So I guess I can’t blame her for the permanent damage from my constant eye rolling.
Despite all that, I actually do enjoy an OTT horror story from time to time, so I might have liked this if the writing and editing hadn’t been so abysmal.

Of all the books I’ve read from the author this one has got to be thé scariest one yet! I’ve watched numerous paranormal shows and none of them have scared me like this true story. There is no way I would ever be an investigator. Too easy for evil to attach itself to you! This story proves it! Read this one with the lights on and be prepared
Very detailed account of what messing with the unknown can do to you. As someone who both fears and intrigued by demonic possessions, I know not to mess with them. Through my own past experiences.
Very scary true paranormal read! I have always wondered how the paranormal investigators are able not to bring home something, but they probably do more than you think, but they just don't write about it - this was about a 2 hour read - very detailed information - makes you feel like you are there - the author really pulls you into the story - it is too bad that the real paranormal investigator of this story had to endure the demonic entity by herself and to have it attack her family - if she had the help of a demonologist, she probably could have been rid of the entity and still had a place to live - this book makes you think twice about messing with the paranormal - this was definitely a 5 star read!
