This whole book was goofy and random. The most random. It was so goofy and random I’m going to do a long review on it.

Skyler:
He had his moments but a majority of them were questionable. His one personality trait is sweating like a sailor and half the time the swearing just didn’t make sense. Some of his comments just rubbed me the wrong way and I know he’s not the most morally straight person out there.

Bianca:
Omg guys she’s so different and quirky! She loves softball and loves hating on woman on the side 🤭🤭 isn’t that so amazing? We love it when girls get mad at the person their crush is crushing on instead of the crush himself. Love how she made fun of a girl for being ‘fake’ when she wasn’t. Also when she giggled to herself because she ‘insulted Barbie’? She’s so cool you guys Oml I want to be just like her 😍😍

Alex:
Ok I don’t have much to say about him. There’s a curse where book men named Alex just suck. Like Alex Volkov for example. Only good book Alex out there is from Magnus Chase. I didn’t like how he called his girlfriend a bitch. Like yeah what she said was out of line but calling her a bitch….? That’s a tad bit much. Especially since he was talking about her like that to his friends. Other then that I think he’s a tad bit dramatic for hating on Bianca and Skyler for being together but oh well

The Plot:
Girl. This plot was more random than the jfk x reader fanfic I wrote. I don’t even know how to explain the plot. The amnesia trope gets pulled out of now where!! Bianca loses her memory and gets it back like three chapters later because she played softball blind folded. She’s on her way to the hospital and Skyler comforts her by singing you are my sunshine like the true Lebron James Stan he is 😍😍😍 this book went from teenagers navigating their love life to a hospital drama real quick 💀🙏 give this book to La Rosa De Guadalupe they would eat this up

Overall there were good moments but the plot was silly and the characters were very hate-able. Ok guys that’s all for now <3

this book was a solid 3. i was there for the drama, but i was cringing so so so much. maybe it's cuz i'm a softball player and i can't fathom someone saying those things, like "her baseball field green eyes", but i mean it was entertaining enough.

What a hit!

This is a line drive to the heart. No pun intended, but it truly is a wonderful story of first love. There is teenage drama but an undistinguished love throughout. On to book two and the next chapter is this story. I can’t wait.

Great story, very relatable characters, very enjoyable read. Wasn’t rushed, though the amount of story leading up to the “near death experience” mentioned in the description was pretty long. There were some parts that just didn’t really feel like everything lined up like it should, like specifically regarding her parents’ and the hospital situation right after the accident. I feel like if they’d have been just a little older (college age) it would’ve made more sense, but other than that it really was a great read! (In case that wasn’t obvious by me reading it in one single day)

Bianca (or Buzz) and Skylar have been best friends for as long as they can remember. With siblings and other friends, they all shared the love of baseball//softball. But for Buzz and Skylar, they shared a love no one could ever understand. Their love was more than sibling love, but they couldn’t admit it. After a life-altering accident that caused Buzz to lose memory for a while, their “friendship” was tested more than ever before. And people began seeing what truly was happening between the two.

Cute story with lots of baseball//softball references! Mostly realistic events, too! It was pretty cheesy, but an easy and entertaining read.
