A kissing Dare was a cute read that started out with a bang. You could tell the characters had history but we were experiencing it for the first time with the heroine Jo’el which made this kindle world read much more realistic. I liked Jo’el, yes this was a short read but she came across so well, she is that chick you just want to do well and get the HEA, extremely likable.

Donovan “The Tank” was the perfect match for Jo’el who had no clue regarding her hotness (even this was done well, she is not the girl who was woe is me, I am not cute, she will not get on your nerves). Donovan sees Jo’el as she is from jump which makes things interesting especially when she decides to have some fun.

We have a great opening, realistic romance scenes, humor and even a little drama.

As always another great read in the Kindle Worlds Series Dare to Love!!

Dovovan "The Tank" Clay was injured and fought to get back into shape for pre-season.
Jo'el Gifford is a financial adviser extraordinaire.

She take a dare to kiss the lonely guy at the end of the bar. Neither can forget the kiss.

They run into each other and he says "Take a chance with me, beautiful. Just one insane moment, one, night".

She simply says yes.

What a great story. I related to the Heroine because I am a numbers girl also. I can relate to her feeling dowdy and unattractive. It's the life we lead. However, I loved seeing her come out of her shell and ask or even demand what she want. With Donovan, she can be who she really is. The Hero was believable and the story line was a little more mature as in age than some and I love that. Neither of them were young 20 somethings, the are more seasoned and mature. That has great appeal to those of us "older" readers.

Thank you again to Carly Phillips for allowing us a little more of our obsession with her Dare to Love Series.

I give this story 5 Candy Hearts.

I usually like Ms. Hines' stories but this one only receives two stars because the characters and premise had the makings for something really interesting. The novella itself was half baked and weighted by tropes of the genre it was as if Ms. Hines were ticking off a list. The characters themselves were interesting but not fully developed. The ending was so rushed that I was swiping back and forth thinking that I missed something. Not her best work.

Yvette Hines has added some great depth to some great characters to this Kindle World series. Jo'el and Tank seem to be opposites, but they seem to have a lot in common. It was great to read how the author brought the two of them together.

Awww! That was such a sweet story. The love Tank has for Jo'el is so intoxicating. Plus the passion helps too. Every man should tell his women they are beautiful. All the time. Loved it, if u couldn't tell.

One kiss

Quick story well written. A woman who knows nothing about football falls for a football player. Jo'el and Tank first meet in a strange situation and it only gets better from there. Loved this short story and seeing Jo'el become comfortable with herself.
