The True Face of Jack the Ripper

Rate this book
Melvin Harris, one of the world's top experts on Jack the Ripper, was instrumental in exposing the so-called 'Ripper Diaries.' Drawing on newly uncovered material on the man and the murders and using modern FBI methods of tracing serial killers Harris builds a totally convincing case against the man he names as the true Ripper; a man who was interviewed by police at the time and had inside information on the killings. the book also includes for the first time the memoirs of Baroness Cremers, the business partner of the man named.

Another "I know who did it But I cant prove it" book on Jack The Ripper I read the whole book from cover to cover and still haven't the faintest idea how he came to the conclusion that this D'Onston chap was the killer. The author kept referring to letters and writings by this guy but never showed them or told anything about them. 2 stars because it contained my fav. things WORDS 0 stars because well it was just a waste of paper. I liked the book. It was not so much about the story of D'Onston as it was a very well written summary of the killings.

We will never be able to prove who was actually responsible, but this was a well writeen book and deserves some credit for that alone.
