Recipe wise, between 3-4 stars, but it is a gorgeous piece of work and lovingly put together, containing short texts, poems and visual art from various collaborators at the studio. The recipes are mostly for 6 or 60, given that they were written predominantly to serve large events, but also smaller groups at the studio on other days. The whole concept reminded me of various collaborative/collective food projects, but intimately of a volunteer, pay-what-you-can vegan food service I volunteered for at university; I guess I do bump up stars for the sake of sentimentality and nostalgia.
One of the most creative cookbooks I have read in a while. The connection with other art forms, science and ecology are very stimulating. The recipes are broad ranging and connected well to the topics. really well done. Love it!!
Nice cookbook. It ticks all the boxes - "lunch at work", Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg, art. Still, text can be bit sharper, it got lost in too many concepts and digressions.
