Zondervan put out a six-book series called "Understand the bible reference series."
You can buy them individually.

What I liked about "Encyclopedia of Bible Characters: The Complete Who's Who in the Bible"
is that now I can know who someone is. Of I know David, Joseph, and others. It is the ones I don't know that I get to find out who they were and so on.
This is a great book to have and great whether you are studying the Bible or just want to look at the list of names. I am enjoying this book and look forward to reading it more and more.
