I did a little independent research about The Wasp after reading this book, and it was interesting to see how her character has developed. Even at this point, she has become more developed from her original appearance as a founding member of The Avengers. She has become more of a force, but still retains some of the stereotypes that were built into her character from the beginning.

As an aside, it was interesting to read a viewpoint on the Marvel characters, how they go to a form of purgatory (from a Hercules story at some point), and they are gambling and playing games when they die. When they win, they get to comeback to life. An interesting viewpoint and backstory for how almost all characters come back from the dead in the comics.

Wasp tries to find the rest of the heroes and instead finds and helps a hurt Lizard. Doom ends up finding Klaw or more accurately recreates him with one of Galactus's machines after finding his energy pattern. The female healer is having some effect on those she heals. The villains shoot the Wasp and suspend the Lizard and haul them off to Doom's gang. The heroes are being watched as they plan their next move.

A Little Death...

Wasp attempts to hijack a ship but crashes it since she quite literally cannot fly ships. She runs afoul the Lizard, and the pair have a deadly duel. But it all seems to be part of Doom's nefarious plot that could be all about distracting Galactus.

The previous issue was solid, but this one felt like much more of a chore to get through.

Essentially a build up issue with stuff happening for future revelations. I had been wondering what happened to Lizard, so at least that was answered. Dramatic moments for Wasp and for Molecule Man.
