This book is penned in a delightful manner. It is a compilation of facts (Paranormal facts,) and then the Author, Mike Ricksecker, weaves the most intriguing 'what if's' around them like a comforting cloak.

So, you have the 'facts' of the Church of Darkness enmeshed within a fictional story of one or more of the 'witnesses' that experienced the facts or were told of the facts. The Author's mind runs the gamut of innocence to pure darkness.

The reader begins reading the 'Non-fiction' based facts and ends up pulling the covers higher and higher as the fictional tale envelopes them. Just who is buried in the cemetery? Is one of the ghosts still haunting the grounds. Your mind takes flight as does the Author's.

A very unique method of telling a ghost story. It makes you want to visit the location and yet, what if the fictional part is true? Ooh chills run down your spine. Then, I found myself thinking of alternative solutions. What fun!

As long as you remember that only certain 'facts' are reality...you can sincerely enjoy this man's creative spark. He can read 'ghost stories' to me anytime.
