Has God ever felt far away from you? Growing up with a very strong religious background God was a big part of my foundation. However, even with over 20 years Sunday School, Bible Study, and Christian School God felt far away from me. However, in my adult years I began to explore who God was to me and I began to shape my OWN definition of "spirituality". This book is yet another way for me to connect with Creator in my own way. Reading it feels like a girlfriends coffee and tea conversation about God. It's not too deep. It is not overwhelming. It doesn't feel out of reach. It allows me to sit with my own thoughts about God and spirituality without judgment, shame, or fear. Where many "spiritual" books have been so deep that I felt a sense of exclusion from God, this book feels like it was written to me and for me. It feels like a relationship book for me and Creator to finally unite on OUR terms.
