Awesome stuff! I like the juxtaposition between Bruce’s insistence on Cass’s perspective as a “weapon” VS. Barbara’s belief that life as a normal seventeen-year old might do her some good. Current theory: Lady Shiva is secretly her mother. I don’t think is even a theory I think it’s actually the plot I’ll be really surprised if I’m wrong

Nossa que história boa. Foi uma historia one-shot bem trabalhada, com boas interações entre a Cassandra e a Bárbara, ambas tendo que lidar com as emoções da Cass.

Fantastic cover!

”Issue #2”
A civilian in a nice suit intervenes what looks like a domestic dispute on the street. He picks up a board and whacks one of the bodyguards. Suddenly the male perpetrator pulls a gun on him for not minding his own business. But then Batgirl shows up and rescues the good Samaritan.

The art is amazing!

Next morning Barbara Gordon wonders why she seems to happy.

The mute Cassandra is a much more interesting character than talking Cassandra. It makes the artist work harder and the writer work harder, providing a better story and emphasizing her uniqueness.

On the news they see that the good Samaritan (Robinson) Batgirl rescued last night has been kidnapped. Oracle figures out the male perpetrator was the son of a mob boss. They are probably keeping Robinson at a refurbished prison off the cost.

Batgirl sneaks in but is quickly captured and thrown in the same cell as Robinson.

There are weird big black rectangles on page 16 and 17?!? What they hell are they? I have the Silent Knight trade paperback and they are there too! I wonder what was in the original? The internet is useless for anything important!

Batgirl breaks Robinson out and tries to carry him away, but he doesn’t make it and gives her a letter he wrote for his wife. She goes back inside the prison and gets to the mob boss’s son, making sure he waits around for the police.

She delivers the letter.

Great story! Lots of twists to make it different than what it turned out to be. 5 stars. Highly recommended and the kind of writing and art that made me fall in love with this character.

The kiss was kind of weird. Also, why does Gordon say "You husband?" Should be, "Your husband."
