Ana-Maria Theis (1980) was born in Galati, Romania. She is the daughter of a psychologist and an engineer. Apparently their love for books and talent for drawing/visual arts, was passed on to her. Among many other things, Ana-Maria is an architect, too. Since an early age, writing has always been part of her creative expression. It began with poetry, and when the right time came, words turned into a book. And from now on...into more. She is currently residing in New Jersey, with her husband, books and...lots of trees.

I received a free copy of this book from the author.

I think this book is best described as bland. The premise was interesting and exciting but I couldn't help but wish the pace would pick up throughout the entire book. It never did. There was so much excruciating detail. What really annoyed me was how new creatures and terms related to ascension were being thrown into the story every two lines without any information about what exactly they were and how they were even relevant. Basically, the storyline was all over the place. There were a few moments here and there that kept me interested but honestly, in the end, I didn't think it was worth it.

I really love this book! I bought the Kindle Edition and I plan to buy the paperback as well.
From the beginning I was fascinated by the story and I didn't expect to feel so touched by it. Usually I read fantasy books if I am searching for bits of truth because spiritual ones are filled with distorted information. So this time, I experienced a large spectrum of feelings while reading the book because I could relate to such a high degree. I found so much beauty, magic and clarity in it. After months of reading, it still comes to my mind and I am joyfully waiting for the second book - and all the other books she will write!

Reading this book you can find out who are the ascended masters and the divine beings and how to meet them and understand what it means to experience the ascension and walk beyond death as you read stories of encounters with divine beings and figure out how to meet our inner divine teachers and find out their names. A lovely book full of wisdom and insights. It brings light, consciousness and ability to our journey here on earth. It nourishes and comforts the heart at a very deep level. Book of exceptional interest, wrote in an effective and competent.

This is an amazing debut!!! From the first sentence, you are being pulled into the story and you will keep and keep reading until the end, like an addict. My question is: when is the second book coming out...'cause I need to know what's going to happen next. Aside from the story, the book itself it's well written and the end...is totally unexpected.

I have found the content of this book enlightening . For those seeking the truth you will find that it is infused deeply into the story . Like many others I am a seeker of truth. Before I read this book I had a lot of questions and pondering ideas about the truth. This book gave me clear confirmations to a lot of my questions . The story gives a lot of spiritual education in a very subtile and discrete manner. This book introduced me to a lot of spiritual topics that had a positive impact on my life. It had opened my eyes to things that truly matter and educated me to see things in a new light. Since I was introduced to these topics I started to live my life in more alignment with myself. I learned to create a simpler but genuinely nourishing existence.

The author through her videos and books was like an initiation for me into the truth . There have been others who had a strong impact on me. But her content had a uniquely important place on my path . If you feel drawn to the book give them a chance. You never know how far it can take you.

I received this book as the result of entering a giveaway. Having discovered errors within the book, the author contacted me and provided me with a pdf version to read instead, for which I thank her.
I found the level of detail within the book to be a little frustrating and constantly wished the pace to pick up. This is not a criticism of the quality of the writing, but I found it a little laborious and, as a consequence, I read it over a few months in bite-sized instalments.
Unlike some reviewers, I certainly foresaw the direction of the book and the ending did not surprise me as much as some have stated in their reviews.
Not the kind of book that I would normally read, but there were a lot of elements that peaked my interest enough to actually finish it.

I would like to thank you for the book (I won it at a giveaway).
I'm sorry to say that it's really not my style. I don't believe in radiesthesia or any of this spiritual stuff.
It gives you some information about how life in Romania is, but other than that I would not recommend it if you're not into spiritual awakening.
I wish all the best to Ana-Maria Theis and congradulate her on her accomplishments!

~I won this book in a Goodreads' giveaway in exchange for an honest review~
~I'm thankful to Ana-Maria Theis for signing my book ^_^~

Ever since I've read the first few pages, I really wanted to like this book, it simply felt close to myself - a Romanian (and I'm a neighbour from Bulgaria!) living in Germany. I could totally get the main heroine's thoughts on the topic. Then I discovered she was vegan... Not that I mind, but I dislike them, so my always-positive-attitude decided that this is going to be the perfect timing for me to change my mind. It didn't happen. I still got that I'm-better-than-you-'cuz-I'm-a-vegan thing. Sorry. And since then the entire heroine wasn't to my liking, she felt... fake. I couldn't believe in anything I read about her: in the entire book Ariana reminded the readers how much she loved to read but it's never even mention a book title. She's busier than everyone else, works perfectly well under stress (really? no need to meditate in the park, or do yoga in the morning?), she has nightmares and every other night but her face still looks young due to regular hydration, she's always talking about reading a lot on the subject of astral stuff but in the end her knowledge is not so big than mine. She was whining a lot, too, as if to draw attention to her problems because she did it a lot during other people's happy moments. The conversations she had with her fiancé were either dripping with sweetness or snorts, I just couldn't get it. Okay, enough whining about the heroine :)

The subject the author is approaching is quite challenging and she did a really good job. I wish her book had met an editor who could have put some explanations at the end of the book about the terms she was using because for a profane like myself, this was the hard part, getting all the explanations right. And I really wanted to get them right! I liked how we're programmed to fail, how the entire universe, life is explained as from engineers, really cool. There are two scenes from this book that will remind in my mind for a very long time, and I'm looking forward to the heroine's new path on Ascension. I hope the second book won't be distracted from so many unimportant events (Meike's birthday party, Ariana's cousin visiting, etc) and that we'll get some answers (). Yeah, I know - my mistake, I shouldn't be looking for everything to be in place. SPOILER ALERT HERE!!!
