That is until pro-surfer, Chad Slater, gets wheeled into her emergency room and shakes down her formidable walls. “Baby, this is our night and you’re mine to heal. I’ll pick up the pieces of your shattered heart and put it back together. A piece of you I’ll keep for myself and replace it with a piece of me. I love you.” I kiss her quivering lips.
"Other’s lives may look easy from the outside, but everyone struggles with bumps in the road." -Audrey S. Brown in Red Waves by Shannon O'Connor
Truer words have never been spoken. I came across "Red Waves" by fortuitous serendipity, and a semi-klutz click led me to the author of this book. I have never read anything by O'Connor, and all I knew was that it was a sports romance. Sold to the chick with the Raven hair! There is an underlying theme throughout this novel: science and fate, and let me just say that it was such an enjoyable read.
In "Red Waves" we meet Emergency Room registered nurse Aubrey S. Brown, a divorcee with a sordid past. She carries both physical and emotional scars that have made it impossible for her to find someone she can trust, and consequently, love. A scheduled visit to see a competition featuring Chad Slater, a world renowned professional surfer and avid entrepreneur, she comes across the man she has been fantasizing about since he was fifteen. A last-minute call into the E.R., and a rogue wave that almost claims Chad's life puts our star-crossed lovers in each other's paths. Will their wild and intricate pasts weigh against each other? Or will they give in to the simmering passion blossoming between them? You'll just have to read this book to find out!
There is so much action, secrecy, denial, passion, deliverance, and intrigue packed into O'Connor's debut novel. The characters are complex and filled with angst and unwavering devotion. There are scenes that might come across as over-reactions between Audrey and Chad and vice-versa, proving that while blossoming love can be heart-warming it can call also be raw and extremely real at times.
"Nothing worth having is easy. Haven’t you learned that by now?” -Audrey S. Brown in Red Waves by Shannon O'Connor
The dialogue is effortless, and the writing had me captivated from the first chapter and lasted all throughout the story. It had me guessing, and just when I thought everything was peaches and cream, O'Connor turns it up a notch and delivers a new twist. And the steamy to panty-combusting scenes had me fanning myself. Oh my! I simply could not put this book down!
WARNING: "Red Waves" does end on a cliffhanger, but its sequel (White Waves) is readily available. I #oneClicked that baby before I started writing this review. I can't wait to dive in! Do yourself a favor, and read this book.
"There’s only us at this moment. No issues, no people trying to keep us apart and no ocean to create distance. I wish everything in my life were this perfect. He makes me feel like things are perfect." -Audrey S. Brown in Red Waves by Shannon O'Connor
It still completely floors me that this is a debut novel. The author nailed it. I fell in love with Audrey and Chad immediately. In fact, I think I loved them even before they said they loved one another. Audrey is the quiet, shy nurse from Huntington Beach and Chad is the pro-surfer full of charm and confidence and definitely knows what he wants. What he wants is Audrey but she isn't so sure she is what he needs. Will Chad be able to convince her otherwise? Oh, I REALLY hope so. They totally deserve each other. This was such an easy read that the pages seemed to turn themselves. The scenery is breathtaking. I felt like I was walking along the beach with Audrey on her morning walks. Sex scenes are hot, hot, hot! Characters are definitely well developed. Even the secondary characters fill out the story well even tho they aren't mentioned much. This story is all about Chad and Audrey getting to know each other, inside and out.
This cannot be read as a stand alone because it has a cliffhanger at the end. Normally I hate cliffhangers, but this story hooked me so well I didn't even really mind. BUT I have to say I already bugged the author about the release of the second book. LOL Here's hoping she's a fast writer.
~~~~~~~~~~Kelli's ★★★★✰ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Shannon O'Connor weaved some magic with this debut novel. I was hooked right away. Audrey has a pretty horrific past. Her ex husband had abused her in some heinous ways. She hasn't been with someone since. Chad is a world renowned surfer. He's the classic player, a girl (or girls) in every city. He's the type that doesn't go back for seconds. Until Audrey. He sees her and believes it's soul mates. His mom passed away years back and he believes she sent his angel Audrey. Can Audrey believe him? Can she get passed the fears she has from her previous relationship?
This book ends in a crazy cliffhanger. I still suggest reading it because it's THAT good. Can't wait to read more.
~~~~~~~~~~Lindsey's ★★★★✰ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Every element of this book is exactly what I look for when I look for a book to read. I was sucked in and kept reading until I was finished. I'm very excited that there is more than one book so that I can read more. I'm also looking forward to reading her other books.
Storyline: 5 Angst: 5 Tissue: 0 Value: 5 Panty Scorching: 5 Over All Rating: 4 Stars Kindle eArc reviewed by Robin
Audrey is a nurse who has a rough past. Her ex-husband abused her and she was lucky to escape their marriage alive. Chad Slater is a pro surfer and quite the ladies’ man. After he ends up in the ER, they seem to be destined to be together. But with an ex that has threatened to kill her, she can’t risk Chad getting hurt and with Chad’s wild ways, can he be a one woman man? Can these two actually be together?
“I’m awestruck into silence. Straight ahead is the most incredible sight I’ve ever seen. Chad in person is even better than my dreams. Twelve long years. That’s how long I’ve fantasized about this Adonis.
He’s tall with broad shoulders. Sun-bleached tips of blond hair are raked back in a quick move with one hand. God, he’s sexy as he tries to keep the ocean water from dripping down his face.
Below his chiseled face, he wears a rash guard with his sponsor’s logo. Deliciously tight. I can see each muscle ripple in his chest as he runs toward us. Then the flex and relax movements of his large back and shoulder muscles as he turns away. I wish I could see his pelvic region, but it’s hidden behind his surfboard. Damn.”
This story flipped me out. Just ask my friends because the angst was so strong that I had to talk it out…you know those books. I have never read about a pro surfer and Chad has women throwing themselves at him to the point of trying to sexually assault him. Audrey and Chad have tons of chemistry and the sex scenes are very hot. The secrets they keep from each other cause a lot of misunderstandings and running away…therefore, angst. There is a cliffhanger at the end so it’s great that the second book is out so you can jump right in.
If you like emotional, sexy books, I think you’ll enjoy this one. There is a lot of crazy stuff that happens that keeps your attention riveted to the story. You will want to dive into the next one.
Audrey is a nurse and is in a funk until she sees Chad again. Sparks fly between these characters quickly. Chad is your all American bad boy who can have any girl he wants and his sight is set on Audrey.
Audrey is not sure if she wants to jump head first with Chad but is drawn like a moth to him and falls hard. I don’t do spoilers but I will say that the sex is great and the story is well written. The author did a great job in keeping the reader engaged while reading this book. While there were some plotlines I didn’t agree with, now that I know that this story will continue I can see the direction the author wants to take. I give 4 diamonds because even with it being a well written, I felt that it should have had a resolution especially with the length of the book.
This was a great story full of drama an some suspense. Audrey ahs a past that she doesn't speak about and still running from,, but every since she first met Chad as a young girl she has fantasied about him. Chad is the surf god that every woman wants, and he never goes for seconds. With a chance encounter these two are brought together again, but can they last? I truly loved these two, but there were a couple of times I thought they acted more like teenagers than 30 year olds. But, again, I did love these characters. I could truly feel Audrey's fear and Chad's frustration along with the love they both feel. This was definitely a great read and I can't wait to jump into the second book.
I read a lot of romance and erotica, and I have to say that this book is one of my new favorites. Audrey and Chad steam up the pages with their tumultuous relationship. I love how the author wrote from the perspective of both characters, making you really understand what both Chad and Audrey are feeling and thinking. I can't wait to read the next book in the trilogy! Highly recommend this book to anyone that loves hot, steamy, funny romances with some drama and angst in the mix.
So enticing, would recommend this book to any women looking for some excitement and drama! This book is erotic and romantic, and suspenseful- give it a try!!! I can't wait for Book 2 to be released :-)
I really enjoyed this book. This story draws you in. It made me want to know what happens next. My favorite character is Hanna. She is awesome. Give this book a try. Also reviewed by Heather Ann's Book Reviews.
Holy crap Batman! This is the hottest book I've ever read! I mean pages smoke, hell billow more like it! What a fantastic story! Audrey was used and abused by her ex husband is the short of it and Boom! Enters pro surfer Chad! What a sexy tanned god. I literally can not wait to read the next book!!!! Shannon has left me with so many questions! I'm totally intrigued as to not only what happens next but how it's played out!
High five.......stars!!!!
Shannon if you read this just know you are now one of my top ten authors! You're on my shelf with Kenyon, Ward, Lindsey and Frost!!!
I was gifted this book but couldn't figure out how that works, so I bought it. Best $2.99 I've ever spent!
This was a fun, sexy, read! The characters were so easy to get attached to and Audrey and Chad’s relationship and chemistry were palpable; there is also a layer of thrill to the story that has me begging for the second book! I can’t wait to see what book 2 has to offer!
I like books that have a lot of action, several characters to enrich the story, and some meaning that draws those people together, or perhaps, even apart. In this book, we just have Audrey and Chad. They met twelve years ago and she has always dreamed of a relationship with him. Chad, also, remembers how taken he was with her. Unfortunately, she has had a terrifying experience with her now ex-husband and shies away from involvement with men.
After all these years, they meet again and he pursues her, hoping for that special relationship everyone hopes for. I found Audrey a bit silly in that she wants Chad, but then decides she can't be good enough for him. After her experience with her ex, I'm thinking that maybe she should be wondering if he's good enough for her. But each time she pulls away emotionally, his aggressive pursuit overwhelms her and she seeks his closeness once again. This interaction is on a constant loop in the story.
The main characters are flat and one-sided. Their conversation centers around their sexual behavior, even when conversing with friends. I feel there is absolutely no intimacy between them in this kind of setting. Because she has been horrifically abused by her ex-husband, she has several hang-ups that she speaks of, just a little pinch here and a little pinch there. Every time she shied away from Chad, I thought, "Here we go again." I wish she had just gotten it out, but she made him work for it. Throughout the entire story, we get unlovely surprises or hints that something ugly is about to be revealed. Sure enough, a few pages later, after a semi-climactic build-up, he is able to sweet talk it out of her. So, her tragic secrets aren't secret for long. There were side characters, but for the most part they were fluffy filler. That left Chad and Audrey to carry the burden of the story by themselves. I found this too monotonous and unrealistic. No matter how in love people are, they still have to deal with the outside world.
The book appears to have been written solely for the sake of sex. Where can they do it? When can they do it? How many times can she orgasm screaming his name? Who knew zip-lining could be erotic? The popular writing style now is to write in the first-person. When an author adds sex into the mix, it's just like someone whispering their naughty secrets right into the reader's ear. In this case, there was nothing, and I mean nothing, left to the imagination. It was just like every other over-the-top sex I've ever read.
I consider reading an enjoyable way to have fun and gain interesting knowledge of places and people. Also, it can be an experience that opens my mind to different ways to approach hurdles that appear in real life and how to conquer them. Plus, the fun of reading about interesting characters is a big draw. Then there are the stories with unbelievable people and situations. They can be fairly entertaining unto themselves. This didn't really fit any of the above.
Red Waves is a graphically sexual story that could have been interesting, but it amounted to nothing more than killing a few hours, while I didn't have anything better to do. In reading this, I found that the author is hiding her light under a bushel. There is nothing wrong with the writing style, but I found fault with the subject matter and how it was presented.
For the rating:
Genre and general reading age - erotica/romance and definitely for a mature, screaming-orgasm seeking audience. Level of sexuality - I believe I've made that quite clear. Was there graphic language? Obviously. Lots of sex equals dirty language. Did this story make me cry? Only with disappointment. Is this part of a series? It is book one of the Waves Trilogy. It is not a stand-alone. In fact, it is a cliffhanger. Consider yourself warned. Level of character development - as I said, it needs a lot of work. How hard did I laugh? Well, I did laugh over the lack of embarrassment the two lovers showed on practically exposing everyone to their lusty ways. I give this book a generous ⭐️⭐️ stars. I would like to think that she tried really hard and will produce more highly developed characters in the next books, which I will not be reading. But maybe they will strike your fancy.

Meet Audrey Brown. She's young. She's beautiful. She's career driven. A registered nurse, Audrey spends all of her time working, helping others. She loves her job. There isn't room for anything else. Her love life....Non existent. Audrey refuses to allow anyone in. Her heart will forever be closed off. Her past made sure of that. Or more to the point, her ex husband made sure of that. Her scars run deep, not only physically, but emotionally. She will never allow another man hurt her again.
This is until she meets him.
Meet Chad Slater. He's young. He's sinfully delicious. A pro-surfer, Chad loves the ocean. It's his passion, his work, his life. He's also a player, no strings attached kind of guy. Take them , then leave them. My playboy, just the way he likes it.
This is until he meets her.
An accident on the waves Chad and Audrey's world will collide. A chance encounter will change Chad and Audrey's world. They have spark. They have chemistry. They also have a past. Audrey knows it, Chad just doesn't realise it yet.
Can Audrey open her heart? Can Chad break down the walls that Audrey has firmly kept in place for years? Can Chad change his playboy ways and reputation? Will anything ever become of Chad and Audrey, or will the secrets and lies that will be unearthed be enough to destroy them before they begin?
This is Chad and Audrey's story.
We thoroughly enjoyed Red Waves, the first novel in the Waves Trilogy Series. A great read from beginning to end. We laughed at the banter between the characters. We loved the way we could feel the chemistry between Chad and Audrey. We were amazed at Audrey's strength and determination. We fell in love with Chad and his vulnerable side.
On a negative (which we hate when there is a negative) we found it a bit of a struggle to understand some of the plots twists within the story. Yes a novel is fiction, but with Audrey's extremely confronting past, we found it a little hard to believe the instant connection between Chad and Audrey and how easy Audrey found it to allow her walls to come down. We also found at times that the storyline felt a little rushed so at those points we struggled to connect with the characters and the situations.
Overall Red Waves was a delightful read. We are looking forward to the next instalment.
The author, Shannon O’Connor, gave me a copy of her book in exchange of an honest review.
This book is definitely the hottest book I have read this year! Audrey, the shy nurse and Chad, the pro-surfer. They accidentally met in the hospital after the incident happened at the beach. Or was it really accidentally? Or was it destined?
When I first saw the book, I actually don’t know what the book is about because all I know is how I fell in love with the cover. I was not disappointed because what’s inside is as much as beautiful as its cover! And … Chad is such a babe. <3 I can’t remember how many times he made me laugh with the way he delivers his lines. He’s just … adorable in every inch of his glorious body. If his looks will make your jaw drop, his personality will make you remove your panties. Lol. I don’t know how to explain it but that is how he makes me feel.
But as I go along the story, I started to hate the way Audrey acts around Chad. It’s understandable since their relationship moved from friendship to lovers as fast as a lightning. They are still in the middle of getting to know each other, they are just starting to trust each other and revealing their past little by little but she doesn’t have to be so mean!!!! (I’m biased since I love Chad)
The love scenes were hot as hell. It’s as if I’m watching two people making love through a CCTV camera. I can imagine every single detail written in the book and I feel so violated! BUT … it’s a good violation! *wink wink* Not only the book has amazing love scenes, but it also has mystery and suspense! SERIOUSLY, this book has everything! But the best part of this book is how it made me feel all of the emotions the characters are feeling (every single one of them). I feel scared for Audrey and I feel sad for Chad. It’s as if I’m Audrey then I become Chad. I became sad when Audrey’s sad. I became frustrated when Chad’s frustrated. It’s as if I my emotions are linked to theirs. And that’s just … mind-blowing!
But it ends on a cliffhanger and that’s what saddens me. I WANT THE BOOK TWO NOW! I recommend this book to anyone who doesn’t mind taking a cold shower after reading the book because the book is steaming hot. *whooot*
This is my first read by Shannon O'Connor and I loved it!!! I loved Shannon's writing and how she made me really connect and feel the characters.
Audrey Brown is a nurse who loves the ocean so living in Huntington Beach is perfect for her. Audrey has had a traumatic past. and still lives in the shadows only living a half life, and has come to the conclusion that she will always be alone. Audrey knows her past will eventually catch up to her.
Audrey has a few close friends and is fiercely close to her sister Mallory. But even through her friendships she never opens up to how bad things were or the true story of what happened to her to leave her so broken
Chad Slater is a pro surfer who is a god of the ocean, women fall at his feet and he uses them for what he needs but never feels a connection with them. He never belivied that he would find love until his Angel.
Audrey and Chad have met briefly before 12 yrs ago when Audrey was in a high school romance with Chad's younger brother Jett. Audrey has always had a crush on Chad and admired and dreamed about him from afar, Audrey has no idea how stunning she is and never would have thought Chad would ever look twice at her. How wrong she was.
From the second Chad lays eyes on Audrey again he knows that she is his soul mate, he doesn't just want her he needs her in his life and will do whatever it takes to show her what she is worth. Audrey has a hard time accepting this as she knows her past is waiting for revenge. Audrey keeps her secrets and the devastating facts of her life a secret and keeps her walls up even when Chad is bulldozing through them.
Shannon tells a steamy hot love story about real affection and the power of soul mates, this book is beautifully written but OH SO HOT!!!!! I love how Chad feels for Audrey, How he wants to cherish her and I love how fiesty and sassy Audrey is when's he is in her comfort zone!
The book ends on a cliff hanger and will have you begging for the next instalment of their story!!!
This is a story that has so much happening. Chad is a surfer who Audrey has crushed over for many years. Audrey is a nurse who has a past that she would rather forget. She doesn't trust easily after what happened to her many years ago and believes she is not worthy of a lasting relationship.
Fate brings them together (actually the spirit of Chad's mom) and they find themselves falling in love fast and furiously. This book has trials and tribulations, heart ache and heart break, fights and lots of make up sex....wow do these two get on like bunnies. I like hot, steamy, and sometimes raunchy sexy bits in book and let me tell you, this one was not short on those. The time table on this book happens in less than 2 weeks. There was a lot of stuff happening (mostly in the bedroom) but we do have some actual story line in there as well.
Written as a first person, multi pov. This book as suspense, intrigue, heart ache, romance, deception, defeat and does NOT have a HEA or even a HFN ending. This does end in a cliff hanger. Lucky for me, I already have book 2, waiting for me.
The characters are easily to fall in lust with, the dialogue flowed nicely and was engaging, the descriptions to details where a little heavy handed but not overpowering and the story line was done nicely. Also, like I said earlier, there are lots and lots of steamy bits. It was a lot, even for me and I like 'em smokin! There were a few heart twinge moments and a few tears shed. It had it's emotional moments.
All in all, a really good read.
Would I recommend this book? Yes!
Would I read more from this author? Yes! (Can't wait to get started on book 2)
Reviewed on behalf of 2 Girls Who Love Books Blog * ARC received in exchange for an honest review * I haven't had many books that have grabbed a hold of me from beginning to end. This is one that certainly did just that.
Audrey is a nurse in the ER. She loves to watch surfing. She sees someone that she has known since she was in high school. That's how long she has had a crush on Chad Slater, a pro-surfer. She treats him in the ER and they grow a bond from there.
It takes a while for Chad to really grab her attention. Audrey has been through a lot in her past. She is afraid to let anyone close to her. She fears that her screwed up mind will mess it all up. Also, she is worried that anyone who does get close to her will die in the hands of her ex-husband. Her ex has abused her to the point that she was afraid she was beyond repair. Maybe Chad can change that. It's going to take a lot of hard work in which Chad is very good at.
Chad is a very popular pro-surfer. He has women throwing themselves at him all the time.. He is known to go through a different woman daily. He never sleeps with a woman more than once. But when Audrey catches his attention, that all begins to change. He has a few slips but forgiveness is something Audrey is good at or is she.
Chad doesn't give up with Audrey. He is the sweetest guy who does everything to show her he isn't going anywhere. But a few people try to stand in his way of happiness.
This book is really good. It got a bit confusing for me at times but that didn't take away from the storyline at all.
Audrey was an excellent written character. She is a very strong willed woman. She knew what was important to her and her well being and stuck with it.
3.5 stars. I liked this book a lot, but I was sad I didn't love it. The author has so much potential. I loved the premise of the book. I loved the storyline. Chad, with his super Adonis like self. This was my first book with the hero being a hot surfer. There's a lot of sex, really good, smutty sex, and I know how the ladies love that part! I just felt like there was too much dialogue that didn't need to really be there. It started to get repetitive. Then, the heroine, Audrey, would come out of no where and say things that didn't match up with her character. Now, I'm thinking maybe it was because Chad brings it out of her, however, it threw me off a few times. I just couldn't get a good grip on who she really was. I was a little let down also because there was so many chances to give us more. Audrey's background with her abusive ex husband still doesn't add up to me. I kept reading and reading expecting to know something, but felt I didn't really get much. I know it's a trilogy and I liked it more than enough to read the second one so I'm excited for it. All in all, it's a sexy book and I'm thinking the second book will be a lot better! I need some answers and the last page left me knowing that's exactly what I'm going to get.
I was introduced to Shannon O'Connor on Facebook in a Book Group. I was gifted Red Waves and waited until closer to the release of the 3rd Book in the trilogy to begin reading. I have been blown away! I can not believe this is her first book. Her writing is a delightful mix of romance, angst, and even a bit of erotica mixed in. I have been drawn into the sad young life of Audrey Brown who has been abused mentally and physically. She has met the man of her dreams but she feels she can not pursue him as she does not want to bring him into her mess of a life. Chad Slater has spent his life riding high on the next wave as it came along. He never thought he would be able to find someone to be his soulmate. When these two star crossed lovers meet, it's like a match made in Heaven. Sadly their story ends in this book as a cliff hanger. I need to hurry to obtain the next installment, White Waves as I do not want to leave these two hanging. Do not be afraid of this being a debut novel, you will not be disappointed.
I had some problems with this book that made it hard to get into. First, there were a couple scenes that did not match the personality of the heroine. It took me off guard and took away from the story. Next, I'm not sure how you could forget your ex-girlfriend no matter how long ago it was. It just seemed a little mismatched for the story line. I think the plot had a lot of potential but it just fell a little flat for me. Other than the few scenes that were out of character I really liked Audrey. Chad, on the other hand, he fakes his niceness too much. He's overly possessive and their relationship is way to rushed considering either one of their pasts
Red Waves was my first read by Shannon O'Connor and thoroughly enjoyed this read. I am Southern California girl and I love to read stories with local places. Neither Audrey Brown or Chad Slater believe they are in a place for a relationship but their paths keep crossing. Audrey has dreamed about the professional surfer for years, but she never thought he would ever be fall for a woman like her. The more Chad tries to pull her in, the harder Audrey pushes him away. Book 1 sets up the characters for the following stories in the trilogy. You learn just enough about them to get hooked and definitely wanting more heat from these two. **There is a cliffhanger.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This book is about Audrey and Chad and it is a cliff hanger. After being in a horrible marriage where she was abused Audrey has many issues with dating it has been years but she still has flashbacks and is not ready until Chad Slater is brought into her ER. Chad is a Pro-surfer. He is all about winning and playing hard. Neither of them are looking for a relationships. There will be deceit, trust, non trust, and the pull that will bring you in. I am not telling anything else except you will not want to put this down. This is the first book by this author and I was impressed. You will not be able to escape the waves.
What an awesome read! So many trials encountered by Audrey in her short married life. It would definitely have you hesitant about getting together with another man. Thankfully she meets Chad and they hit it off. Now if they could work through the issues they encounter it would be great. And just when you think things are going to get better...boom!
I really enjoyed the book. Great descriptions of surfer Chad's experience on the waves! And Audrey is such an awesome nurse. So glad she got to take care of Chad.
As soon as I'm done with my quick review I'm off to start White Waves!
Hot, sexy nurse with a hot, sexy surfer...um, YES!!!!!
I loved how they were connected and loved how they were brought together. I'm so happy that their personalities complimented each other perfectly. Where Audrey had insecure moments, Chad was sure for the both of them. He had the right amount of push to get her to open up with him.
And the drama! Love the drama!!! Love that we get just enough to keep us on the edge of our seats and still wanting more. Can't wait to read book 2!
I dnf this book. there was to much for me to get into. the instalove, instagirlfriend. Chads raging possessive ways so early on. His over the top sweetness. it was all just to much for me. the things that came out of Audrey's mouth at times didn't seem to go with her personality. it just seems so rushed and quick for two people with their pasts. it had so much potential.
Red Waves is a superb, drama, suspenseful, and scorching read. I couldn't read it fast enough and devoured it in one sitting. A shy nurse and hot surfer dude, do I need to say more. This book ends with a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read book 2.
The Red Waves is a definite must read it has you hooked from the start I couldn't put it down love the characters and it leaves you wanting more awesome read can't wait to read more from The Waves Trilogy xxx
My very first book about a surfer, and I fell in love with him at first sight. Chad is the most loving, caring, protecting person and he loves hard. Must read and the best read to get away to the beach.
I have never thought about the sport of surfing or fans or any of that. Interesting sport romance book. Ends in a cliffy but book two is out. Full review coming on The Smut-Brarians.
Ok I lied a little bit. I dnf'd it. But I gave it 2 stars because I almost finished it. I couldn't stomach another two books of this couple and let it end on a high note.
