Possibilities by T.A. ChaseWhen Dixon and Carson meet during a hurricane, neither imagined that moment would be the beginning of a new relationship.
Dixon White owns Billy’s Diner in Brevard County, Florida—right down the road from Patrick Air Force Base. He serves a lot of the servicemen and their families who live and work on the base and does it in honor of his brother who served as a SEAL until a motorcycle accident ended his life. When Dixon finds himself stuck in a broken down car just as a hurricane hits the area, he’s not sure how’s he going to get home.
Master Chief Sergeant Carson LaSalle is headed to the base when he drives by Billy’s Diner. He sees Dixon’s car there and stops, checking to see if everything is okay. He takes Dixon home, but can’t stop thinking about him.
After the hurricane blows through, both men meet again and the sparks fly. Possibilities open up for them to have a chance at finding love. They just have to be willing to try.

Possibilities is a quick book about taking chances. Carson and Dixon meet during a hurricane where Dixon is stranded because his car will not start. Being a member of the armed forces, he is used to helping people in a crisis, and he stops to help Dixon. After a quick conversation and ride home, Dixon is intrigued with Carson. Both men feel a connection when they meet again after the storm to help clean up the area.
This story is all about that first meeting or first date. There's never any guarantees which way it will go-good or bad. There's possibilities of friendship, a relationship, or even love. But there's also the possibility of heartache and sadness. You have to be open to taking that chance to see where things may go. Dixon never thought of Carson as a possible date, but Carson has had Dixon on his radar for a long time. He had been scared but decided he needed to take the chance and try. It's always scary when you put yourself out there. No one likes to feel vulnerable. You just have to hope in the end that the risk is worth the reward. Once Carson decided to take his chance, he put himself out there with Dixon. I loved his attitude and I loved that Dixon felt he was also worth taking the risk for.

I love stories that are all about the beginning of a relationship and acting on attractions without a lot of drama or conflict. The title is perfect because the tale is all about the possibilities of the future and two men looking forward to it.
Dixon White owns a diner near an air force base and enjoys serving the servicemen. Dixon meets Master Sergeant Carson LaSalle when Dixon’s car breaks down during a hurricane. Carson gives Dixon a ride, but neither men can get the other of their mind.
They meet up again after a hurricane and are thrilled to discover the attraction is very mutual. Dixon and Carson’s dates were sweet and romantic. I enjoyed the slow build of the relationship as they got to know each other. The sex was pretty hot too.
The ending of the novella is just the beginning of the relationship but I think Dixon and Carson’s bond is strong enough to survive.
Possibilities was a well-written and enjoyable tale about the fun of the first steps of falling in love.

Possibilities is a very short story about the possibility of love and happiness. Carson has liked Dixon for a long time and been waiting for a chance to ask him out. When the hurricane came through he was concerned knowing he was alone. Dixon has been through a lot but has a very positive outlook on everything. I really liked him a lot. I can’t say much about this story since it’s very short and felt more like the beginning of a story instead of anything complete but it has possibilities. I absolutely loved how T.A Chase brought the title into this story it was beautiful. It’s well written with an upbeat storyline and interesting characters. If you like diners, cooks, natural disasters ringing two men together, military men and a very sweet romance this is definitely for you.
When Dixon and Carson meet during a hurricane, neither imagined that moment would be the beginning of a new relationship.
While a lot of the smaller details really bothered me, overall this was a sweet story about two men connecting in unlikely circumstances.
What I liked about this story was that it was the start of something new for both men. It was incredibly sweet; Carson (aka "Camaro") has been crushing on Dixon for ages, but finally gets to talk to him when helping him out during a storm. And while we don't see their full relationship develop, I love this first glimpse at their romance... the possibility of something more.
I do think the author needed to do more research on certain things (like why would Camaro have several spare alternators for an Oldsmobile lying around in his house?) or leave off specific details. Distracted from the overall plot.
