Whether told before sleepy time or written down in a book, whether true or entirely fictional, whether there is one to tell or not; it doesn’t matter. Her overactive and somewhat distracting imagination will just make one up for her.
Born in The Netherlands, she listened to bedtime verses involving such things as sleepwalking kings, whistling tea kettles and crocodiles in baby baths from a tender age onward. For her 9th birthday she received a book full of retellings of Grimm’s fairytales with a large number of rather gruesome elements.
Perhaps it is no wonder her mind works the way it does.

This is an extremely interwoven plot that demands your demanded my full attention, to keep up with the plot!!
It will appeal to many different readers, on many different levels.
