New from the bestselling author of the romantic comedy series, Once Upon A Romance!

Can trusting in love make you dream bigger than ever before?

Annabelle O’Connor desperately needs a real, live hero—not for herself—for her young son who’s living in a Superhero fantasy world. He’s in trouble. If only she could help him…

As the owner of Mermaid Landscapes and Waterworks, Annabelle’s had her fair share of water mishaps. None compare to when she finds herself on the wrong end of a car sailing through a huge puddle. She’s drenched in a nearly transparent dress as she comes face-to-face with the handsome driver.

Ditching law school and becoming a cop is high on Max Whitfield’s wish list. All that’s left is to deliver the news to his brothers. But they’ve lost both their parents already and he knows the orphans don’t want to lose him, too.

To add to his woes, Max is sinking fast for the spunky woman he splashed. He can’t bring himself to walk away from Annabelle. The attraction pulls him in and keeps him coming back for more. And her son looks up to him. His need to protect them from drowning in hurt again—even by him— beats strong and steady.

He’s a heady distraction she can’t afford. However, his charming ways soon work their magic on her and she’s nowhere near to trusting herself around him, especially when she discovers Max is ready, willing, and able to put his life on the line. She knew getting involved with him was a bad idea.

But how can Annabelle turn away from what she’s feeling when Max seems like the perfect real, live hero for her son and maybe the one she never knew she ever wanted for herself? And will Max put loving Annabelle on the top of his to-do list and forgo his own dreams?

What a beautiful love story! Past love hurts from the loss and new love is a to much of a reminder. Walls to the heart are high but slowly crumble with the help of a loving mother in law and a young son. This story is funny with all the dirt and water incidents that seem to always make an untimely entrance. The characters are brought to life with the writing, you will also fall in love with the characters in Making a Splash!

The Best Story Yet, Everyone Needs A Superhero In Their Life

This is the best once upon a romance book yet. Annabelle is a single mom determined to bring love and joy to her sons' life (she needs it too but she's in denial). Then comes along Max and the walls she's built around her heart starts to crumble.
Max is out with his brothers when he comes across a wet, determined spitfire. He feels the need to protect her (especially from herself, the chick has got a temper on her

Loved it!

Annabelle (Irish) and Max and Joey…three people who couldn’t be more perfect as a family unit! Max’s brothers are the best as well. And can’t forget Gigi… such a warm and wonderful book. It’s like a great big hug.

Amusing comedy/drama

I've read all books in the series so far, including this one. All have been very entertaining with an interesting cast of characters.

Such a fun book and series. They are addictive but at least short and easy to read. Definitely escapism at its finest.

The good definitely redeemed the bad in this insta-love romance. The MCs both had issues from their pasts to deal with and it made things rather repetitive throughout the story, but thankfully all the characters were quirky and lovable. The side characters really added a layer of fun that kept me giggling even with all the angsty parts.
