Typical love story full misunderstandings. The leads loved each other from the very start, yet both thought and did things the opposite way.

Personally, I would love to read the second male lead's happy ending more, but we only got an epilogue for him. What a pity.

I used all my strength to love him, so I did not have excess strength to hate him.

Let's try to recap the entire story: so let's say hello to SPOILER!
Ye Jing Zhi our heroine was married to Lu Yu Jiang for I think 3 years? And they divorced for a year plus already but still lived together in the same roof because of some agreement about the shares, etc etc. Theirs was not a loving marriage nor did she have any happy memories on their relationship. Lu Yu Jiang was her elder sister's ex-boyfriend and when her sister died, Ye Jing Zhi seduced him during his drunken stupor. The real reason of their marriage was not really explained.

The couple always fight! The last quarrel was a lil bit confusing for me: Ye Jing Zhe wanted to get out from the house since she could not extract some money out of it (something like that) and was surprised to see that Lu Yu Jiang was at home. He changed the lock so she couldn't get out. Turned out that he didn't want her to leave. So they brawled: she with more than 10 years of Taekwondo and he with more than 20 years of Kickboxing. It resulted to Lu Yu Jiang's sexual assault. For me what he did to her was rape. The next day she found out that she was still locked inside (she didn't know the passwords at all) and jumped from the balcony. And went to live with her gayfriend Cho Men or something (I'm sure it isn't Chao Fan he he he).

Days later Ye Jing Zhe met Chi Fei Fan, her "brother-in-law". Actually he was interested with her elder sister and Ye Jing Zhe really thought that they'd become an item but her elder sister met Lu Yu Jiang. Chi Fei Fan went abroad and after many years came back and became Ye Jing Zhe's boss. He courted her, brought her gifts, was kind to her, etc etc. For me, it was really unnerving because he displayed his affections even inside the company.

Then she found out she was pregnant! The story got complicated from there. Chi Fei Fan wanted to marry her since he implicated that they slept after she got drunk one night. What a crappy thing to do, she wanted the child but she got careless and got drunk. Plus Lu Yu Jiang wanted her to abort the child. Gahhh... what a GGB = Gulo gulong buhay (Chaotic Life).

Anyway, things got out of hand or secret were revealed why Lu Yu Jiang treated her like a crap so dear friends, our heroine ran away. And then a "certain man" looked for her days or weeks later. He took care of her, he told her he loved her, he was scared for her, etc etc etc. Since this is under the spoiler, it was her ex-husband who did those things which I mentioned. And I was like...HUH?! She gave birth and they reconciled. I was like, gahhh for 3 years in their marriage relationship, he never showed her that he loved her. "I love you" actually don't mean a thing if you don't show it in actions right? Plus I couldn't forget that he raped her. Well, she was also physical with him most of the times. They were a toxic couple if you ask me. I was expecting that she would become an independent woman, to grow to love herself more than she loved her ex-husband.

Chi Fei Fan loved our heroine's elder sister, really really loved her and was heart broken when she chose another man. And he took care of the heroine and because of his presence, Ye Jing Zhe and Lu Yu Jiang got back again. The epilogue was written entirely for Chi Fei Fan, the brother in law and how he met a college girl. It seemed that their romance was blossoming. I wished that they have their own novel or something and not just fitted at the end page.


The story really started well but it went downhill. It had lots of loopholes and there was no really explanation why certain things happened, why certain attitudes were shown. I personally felt that there were no chemistry between the main characters at all. And the ending was out of place.

I was supposed to give this 1 star but IF this was a parody so...another star. Hahaha.
