My take on Skylar: A soccer playing-good-looking-guy that you just can't help but fall in love with. He lives his life the way he wants to. No attachments to girls, just hanging out and having fun. If people can't handle that, well he really doesn't need them in his life, yet he gives them a chance to get on his level. Skylar is uprooted from his home and friends, now he has to start over, that's when he sees her...
This book was a fun, fast, beautifully written book that takes you out of reality and into the life of Skylar. This is the first book I have read from author Connors and I loved it so much, that I decided to buy the other two books in this series. If you like romance, chick lit and humor, then you'll definitely love this book. Author Connors puts all of these elements together in this short brilliantly written story, making it a fantastic read. I am a big fan of Connors and I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I recommend this book to anyone, it was a five star read for me.

I was given a ARC by the author in exchange of an honest review.
I loved reading this book because I got to know more about Sky. I read the first book before it was release so I feel connected in some way with the characters and like with siblings I didn't agree in a few decision both Sky and Ari took.
But getting to know the character more with this book was great.
If you have read book 1 and 2 I highly recommend that you read this book too and you will see a side of Sky you never seen.
And if you haven't read this series I recommend you do.

Interesting and quick glimpse into Sky. I'm glad he moved and met Ari. He seemed to become a much improved version of himself.

I groaned a million and two times when I came to the end of my read. Sigh. You know when you start something amaz-balls and it stops. Oh the flippin horror. The heartbreak. The pain. The agony. But, I digress. I know you didn’t come to hear me rant so I’ll get on with the review.
We are introduced to young Skylar Montgomery. The sophomore, soccer captain isn’t one looking for love. A good time is all he wants. After scoring the goal that leads his high school team to victory against their rival; The Sharks, he not only scores on the field, but also with Mindy. The ‘It girl’ and his long time infatuation.
Life was good. No complications, no attachments. What more could he need? Just when everything was going according to plan, the unexpected happened. His father’s promotion moves the family from New York to Florida. His first night there proved that he’d never be the same.
A strange sensation lights his being when he sees her. His grandmother’s wise words come back to haunt him. This feeling he doesn’t want to shake. Arianna now becomes the reason he looks forward to a new day. His scholarship takes him overseas. Their communication is reduced to a few phone calls. Will love conquer distance?
