Picked up this book as a time filler and read it through in quick time. The advice is simple and straightforward yet it required me to really think on life events and my self view and behaviors. It is simply a good little book.
While the advice given is adequate in meeting the expectations brought forth by the title, it reads like an outline or checklist with not much depth provided. Much of the writing is common sense and to the point. However, the rationale for pursuing these corrective measures may not be convincing enough for the reader mired in deeper issues with the anxiety inherent with embarrassment, regret, or worry. As such, the book does not delve past a cursory review of the issues, its causes, and potential solutions.
