The third installment in this serial saga. Can be read as a standalone.
Chris loved his new life in witness protection. Loved his new life he was sharing with his twin flame Axel. They were paid enough money for toppling the Drug Cartel run by Juan Fuentes they were able to buy a farm in Indiana. No one would recognize them.
Unfortunately for Chris and Axel, Juan Fuentes still had lots of money, and held a grudge. As Chris was to find out, money talks, as well as government employees when offered enough of it. After an invasion on their farm, leaving several men dead, Axel decides to ditch witness protection, and use his contacts in the special forces to get them out of the country. Back to Japan where Axel had trained and grown up as a child.
When the Yakuza make an attempt on them, Axel knows he must take the fight to Fuentes, and Chris is safer with him than being left behind.
Chris learns how agents and criminals walk through the shadows as Axel turns the tables from hunted to hunter, and Chris will lose whatever vestige of innocence he had left.
But Chris will sacrifice anything to be with Axel. Anything.
Especially after he learns he is a true Omega, and it is possible for him and Axel to have their own child.
