Boy o boy, the stakes are high in this one! Lots of tension, really got me sweating up a flood. My chest started hurting something fierce towards the end. High octane excitement. Truly special literature.

Cute little stories. I really could have done without the girl power chapter but it was exactly written in the true Fairy Tail style I do love. Quick afternoon reads between heavier ones is always a nice break.

A lot of fun! This picks up where book two finishes and personally I'm much more comfortable with the world as I've now read Vol. 1-10 of the main series. I now have met Juvia in the main series so know who all four of the main characters are and the whole Fairy Tail gang makes cameos all over the place for lots of fanservice. The book starts off quick with the girls taking on a job vacation they thwart and is over too soon. Lots of fun! Then the rest of the book turns quite dark as Wendy is stalked and kidnapped along with the other girls, accidentally, by a black guild who wants nothing but to replicate the power of the dragon slayers to sell to the other dark guilds and become rich. Some lessons learnt here by a new character about the means not justifying the ends. Then the book ends with a silly bit of girly fun.! Loving this series with its focus on the girls in the lead but they never forget about their favourite guys and it's all a total Fairy Tail Fun Fest with some good side quests for the girls to solve without Natsu or Gray trying to steal the show. LOL

Es geht weiter mit den Fairy Girls. Da ich den ersten Teil schon gelesen habe, musste ich auch diesen Teil lesen. Auch hier geht es wieder um die vier Mädchen, die im berühmten "Fairy" sind. Wer "Fairy Tail" kennt und liebt, wird diese neue Reihe auch lieben. Immer wieder stolpern die vier in neue Probleme und Gefahren und diesesmal ist die Gefahr direkt vor ihrer Nase. Nachdem eine neue bei den "Fairy Tails" auftaucht, wird Wendy ihre Tutorin. Sie soll sie einführen und ihr alles beibringen. Niemals hätte sie gedacht, dass die neue nicht so ist, wie sie sich gibt.

Die "Fairy Girls" habe ich eine nach dem anderen ins Herz geschlossen. Jeder hat ihre eigene Stärke und Fähigkeit und das finde ich einfach klasse. Sie haben ihre eigene Eigenschaften, auch wen es manchmal nicht so sehr zur Oberfläche dringt. Trotzdem sind sie authentische Charakter und meistern jedes Problem und das gemeinsam als Team. Auch die Nebencharakter, die zwar nicht so oft auftauchen und dennoch ihren Teil spielen, sind authentisch. Manche erkennen vielleicht ein paar Charakter aus der "Fairy Tail" Reihe und das finde ich toll, dass alte bekannte Charakter noch auftauchen.

Der Zeichenstil ist genauso wie bei "Fairy Tail" und passt super zum Manga. Jeder der vier Mädchen hat ihre Hauptrolle und keine kommt zu kurz. Dadurch das es immer was neues gibt, was die Mädchen meistern müssen, bleibt es spannend und hält in den Bann. Anfangs beginnt der Manga ruhig und dann kommt aufeinmal der große Knall. Mir gefällt die Reihe gut, auch wen sie erst angefangen hat und ich bin sehr gespannt, wie es weiter geht und was die Mädchen noch meistern müssen. Für mich eine klare Leseempfehlung.

I had this and vol. 1 for a while (I love Fairy Tail so I buy anything that is Fairy Tail related) and decided to finally read them so that I can decide if I should buy vol. 3 and 4, which would complete the series.

The last chapter in this volume included Mirajane, Levy and Cana. Not only was this chapter pointless and should not have been made (it could be compared to the silly swimsuit etc competition in the Grand Magic Games, but that was funny and I enjoyed it). I ended up skimming it. I mean girlish power? That sounds do stupid and cringe. The problem I caught immediately in this chapter was that the heights of the girls are way off. Levy was drawn to be Erza's height and sometimes only slightly shorter than Erza and sometimes almost Cana's height, which if you've seen the show and or read the manga then you know that that doesn't make sense. Cana is one of the tallest girls in Fairy Tail. Levy is about 4'11" (which is the same as my height), Erza is 5'6" that is NOT close to Levy's height, and I find two heights for Cana, she's either 5'8" or 5'11". So you seen why it makes no sense the way the girls are drawn in this chapter. I know that drawings can't be 100% accurate but drawing someone who's under 5ft almost as tall as someone who's 5'6" or 5'8" is obviously a mistake.

While the art has gotten better in this volume, it regressed in the last chapter. I don't think I will buy vol. 3 and 4 after all. Since there are only 2 volumes left, I might find them somewhere and just read them in order to finish the series.

Reading this brought me back to the reasons I enjoy fairy tail; the friendship, the antics everyone gets up to, and of course the moral lessons that are presented in each story. This volume focused most on Wendy Marvell more than any of the other girls though they were there. It was interesting seeing Wendy's character development and her own perspective on things. There is a lot of fan service in this particular volume and in fairy tail in general so if you're not of high teenage age do not read this series. I also appreciated that it had most of the regular female characters having fun like non-mages. However some of the plot was really predictable. Because of these points I have to give this novel a 3.5 to 4 out of 5 stars This volume really enhances the original story and perfect for fans of the original series

Seguimos con las aventuras de las mujeres de FT, esta vez añadiendo a más integrantes del gremio más poderoso de Fiore.
Las historias incluídas en este tomo me agradaron un poco más en comparación con el anterior. Si bien son autoconclusivas y no pasan más allá de 2 caps, te dan ganas de seguir leyendo y saber que otra tontera les depara a todas.

In principle, the story could have been good with its little stories about the girls from Fairy Tail, but there is far too much fan service, even with minor characters. It has nothing to do with the original work, and I find that a bit of a shame because it underdevelops the characters' personalities.

Hiro Mashima damaged the Fairy Tail franchise by allowing this spinoff. Poor stories and even poorer art.

Ebben a részben azért kezdtem már túltelítődni a mellek, formák, pózok sokaságától, de mivel továbbra is kreatív és érdekes történet keretéül szolgálnak, így egyáltalán nem volt vészes a fanservice. Továbbra is nagyon örülök, hogy karakterhű maradt a szerző és a hipnózisos szálban kihasználta Erza fél szemét.
