Whether you loved or hated 50 Shades of Grey you will LOVE this story! Sexy Billionaire Music Mogul Axel Maxwell has it all AND an obsession. He wants to be Just Like Grey... Christian Grey - since reading the book. He knows what he wants and he ALWAYS Gets What he Wants, and his new secretary Holly Acosta is exactly what he desires. Holly is satisfied to have a good job but she's about to discover what she really wants is so much more. A Funny, Quirky, Romantic Comedy that you will love and laugh reading. This boxed set also includes the “Secrets and Lies - Complete Collection”
This book was awesome. I maybe loved it more than 50 shades. Bella is an innocent girl who becomes every bit the woman she is. Christo is her gay best friend. He helps her come out of her shell. Reece is every girls dream come true or is he? You have to read this series, it will not disappoint.
These were not a good read. If it weren’t for my OCD tendencies I would’ve returned this collection. The first book was over kill on 50 Shades. We get he liked the character but he was promiscuous and irresponsible. The second book a dying father gets the girl dies and then the son falls in love. Terrible storyline. The last book was the worst. Reece and Bella ... completely unnecessary. Bella constantly being negative when there was so many positive people and experiences. The story was just boring and dull. I couldn’t wait to be finished.
*SPOILERS BUT ONLY FOR 3RD BOOK AND IT SAVES YOU A LOT OF READING* Just... don't. These are not like Grey. There is nothing but constant cheating, major drama that my brain was so tired of, and very weak plotlines. However, I will say, if you do read this please just stick with the first two stories. Do not read Bella and Reece. I want to pull my eyes from my skull and disinfect my memory of it.
*spoiler* this is for book 3 of Bella and Reece.
I'll save you the trouble... billionaire falls for girl, but he sleeps with her friend somehow thinking this will get closer to the other girl, dates said friend, knocks her up, cheats on her with the girl he was trying to get with in the first place, basically stalks her, girl doesn't tell her friend she's slept with the billionaire cheater boyfriend, surprise pregnancy happens for the friend, girl and cheater man are devastated, she moves on to a man she can't love, man she can't love was hired to befriend her by cheater man, befriended man falls in love with her (we end up finding out he is bi), then cheater man hires a male friend to steal bi man away from girl, girl finds out about this entire plot, her friend used cheater man for money and the baby wasn't his......AND SO MUCH MORE HAPPENS BETWEEN THIS!! Just writing that down was painful.
Definitely not like grey but there is some steamy kink
Just like Grey (The Complete Collection ONE) (Billionaire Romance Book 1) contains the first 3 books in this series- 1. Just Like Grey 1: Axel Maxwell 2. Just Like Grey 2: Harold Golden 3. Just Like Grey 3: Mark Grant
This is the first time I have read a book by Jessie Cooke so I was not sure what to expect. Add in that I never actually read the "Fifty Shades" books so I was not sure what to expect with this collection of stories. Each book is about a different billionaire who is into some kink and finds a woman who he falls for. These is a lot more that happens also, some I really enjoyed and some not so much as my preference is to not read about certain things. But I liked the authors writing and the stories were interesting. Personally I would have smacked Axel around the ears for his behavior as he is a bad boy who has an ego that is bigger than the moon and needs to be brought deflated, but that is me. Overall I did enjoy these books and will read more by this author in the future.
I received a copy of this box set and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Do yourself a favor, and just DON'T. It's free, I know, but don't waste your time! It got so bad, that I started skimming/skipping the hot scenes just so I could get through these books. I'm not one to DNR usually, so I suffered through all three of these stories.
First of all, I'm not sure why they're "packaged" together, as they are unrelated, different characters, and only the first one is "like Grey". Second, the writing is horrible. Readable, but horrible. The characters have zero redeeming qualities, and I'm not sure why an author would write characters that are not remotely likeable?! There's a way to write blemished, dark characters without making them cheating or cocaine addicts. Lastly, the books seem to be badly spaced, or made poorly into chapters, or sub-chapters. Sometimes I was so confused, it was like I skipped a week and was thrust into a random scene without knowing how, or why, I got there.
If these things alone don't turn you off, then be my guest, but don't say I didn't warn you!
Very good but not quite as expected. In the beginning this is so OTT it's hilarious. I thought 'Gawd help us if this is the true male ego'. Axel Maxwell wants to be like Christian Grey but better. He is richer, hotter and better looking, in his opinion. His ego is the size of Mt. Everest and he thinks he's gods gift to women. As the book progresses he is still an ahole but we see what's inside him. He is a somewhat decent man who actually cares about the woman he is with, at least while he is with her, and in certain cases has a conscience. And he loves his mother! Once Holly enters his life he begins to realize he can actually love - but she is engaged to another man. Thru deceit he goes about separating them... until it backfires. The second bookk I found much less interesting as Axal and Holly are side characters. Book 3 was a twister and I was praying both of them made the right descisions. I enjoyed all of the stories except for Secrets and Lies. Unfortunately, it was the longest story. It’s the second to the last. There was only one character in it that I both liked and respected. Sadly it was a supporting character. Again, I liked the rest and will probably read the next collection. If you find yourself as frustrated as I did by that one way too long story, I strongly recommend just skipping it and reading the last one in the collection. I also felt like important information was missing from the end of the last two stories. In the last book, was the partnership successful? I can’t tell you so no spoilers here. I’m stopping now before I talk myself into dropping the rating by a star.
This is definitely not a “vanilla” book. I enjoyed reading each story about Axel, Holly, Ryan, Olivia, Mark and Heather. Axel is a complete jerk, but deep down you can tell he really loves Holly. Holly seems to be naïve at times and a little too trusting. There were times throughout the book that I thought I knew what was going to happen, but turned out that Jessie Cooke went in a different direction.
Great story, great characters with lots of drama, action, sex, passion, chemistry, suspense and some twists. I look forward to reading more from this author. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy through Booksprout ARC’s for an honest review.
This collection of books in the Just Like Grey stories follow the lives of a self made billionaire, Axel who is into the BDSM lifestyle and believes that he is a real “Christian Grey” and the exciting people that come into his life while he searches for his “Anastasia”. Holly is engaged but when she is hired to be Axel’s secretary the attraction is immediate between them. These stories build off of Axel and Holly’s fun, complicated, and interesting romance as each one delves into the BDSM lifestyles and into their secret filled pasts. Fun reads.

Just like Grey, maybe. I liked this collection of short stories. They all have wonderful characters and show us that people come in different types and do different things. I do not like to compare books because each is its own story with its own different characters. Did I like this book? Yes Did I like the characters? Yes Did I like the content? Yes. So I would say this is a great collect of stories, but if it is not what you like to read well then you might not like it. I did and cannot wait to read more.

I enjoyed reading this series, but it was NOT what was advertised. The only part of this book that actually pertained to the title, JUST LIKE GREY, was the book's first 33% more or less. The remainder of the book was comprised of various entertaining stories that had absolutely nothing to do with the book's title. Next time, I would appreciate knowing that this is a series of romance novels put together under one title, but not necessarily related to the book's title. I love a good romance novel, and these were fun reads, so I just need to get over this book-title flaw.
This is a very good series. There are three books to read that have three very different men in most ways. But they all want a woman that is into the same kinks as they are. You get some very hot and steamy scenes in these books. So if you are not into BDSM or any of the other kinks then this is not a book for you. If you thought 50 Shades of Grey was not to your liking, then you will not want to read this. All the men are OTT alpha males that all get what they want no matter what.

First book just okay. Was predictable & sort of tawdry. Second book better but still just okay. Spoiler alert! Third was the best but the lack of editing was such a turn off it took away from the story. The h was such a twit that I can't believe the H put up with her. The other characters were very good; her gay BFF was the best, along with her family. Her Mom in particular was a hoot. This h did not deserve the H until the very end.
Maybe my expectations for this collection of stories was too high. Personally I did not care for Axel Maxwell. I kept hoping that something would happen that would change my opinion, but it didn't. The next story with Ryan and Olivia was the one that I enjoyed the most and would rate it a 4/5. In the last story, we are back to mostly the same characters as the first story, although I did enjoy this one a little more - would rate it a 3.5.
Absolutely fantastic Collection! Beautifully written emotionally deep romances. The storylines are flawless, funny, witty, enjoyable, and remarkably interesting. It was enjoyable because of the fantasy aspect of having one of your own D/s relationships. The stories flow smoothly and move along at a brisk pace with a few ups and downs and a mix of emotions on every page. The chemistry between them is intense and their love scenes are beautifully written and HOT!
Great book although i didn't like that this entire series was about different couples i wish that would've been clear in separate books rather than one series

Great read lots of banter between the characters! Just a fun, steamy romance and a little BDSM !Good romance story must read, loved it recommend 5 Stars. I think you will really like this book, believable characters. The author Jessie Cooke made the story come alive with the story she tells.👍💛💜💞
I hope Jessie Cooke didn't lose any sleep putting together this book. I can only imagine that she got many paper cuts from turning each page of fifty shades trilogy and then adding her characters. This is the worst attempt of someone claiming to be a author. Few words to describe. BAD....WORST....TRASH...!
This set is awesome with it’s first and second stories, the third I dis not care for and unfortunately goes on forever. I finished hoping it would have a redeeming part but it did not in my humble opinion. The first two are amazing and even though at time you will want to strangle Axel, he does come through in the end.
Being stuck inside, avoiding the virus, these books make it much more tolerable. Love 💘 how Ms. Google's characters are flawed , far from perfect and believable. Would give five stars but there are a lot of typographic errors that sometimes make it difficult to read.
The only reason why I'm giving it a 4 star is because of Axel. I loved that story, the second book was almost as good as the first and the last story was a complete bore. I had to skip my way to the end. It was frustrating to read and the fact that the thoughts of the entire characters comes up one sentence after the next was a little bit frustrating. Otherwise ok story.
Liked this steamy , hot and sexy romance collection with BDSM elements , drama , hot scenes ( don't think it's for people who don't like cheating ) , liked the characters and storyline , not as good as FIFTY SHADES but comes a close second to it , enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to other readers

Very entertaining and exciting to read each of these books. Great characters and the chemistry is on point! When the drama unfold it makes you keep turning the pages so you can see what happens next! Who wouldn’t want to be with Alex? Holly is sweet! I love the banter they had together. A great read.

The first two books were short and sweet, unrealistic but hot sex scenes. The last however was completely ridiculous. The characters were unlikable, morally stupid, and the stupidity just kept going on and on way too long.
I read all of the Gray books, this isn't close to them. I can't pin point the exact why , but something isn't right. This was readable but it didn't leave me wanting more.
