I was planning on just listening to my childhood crush at a rundown bar. His boy band had broken up years ago and he had been trying to go solo. But when he walked up to me I just became melted butter. I thought it was only going to be one night of passion but when we run into each other again would we become more?

* This sexy steamy bad boy rockstar romance is perfect for fans of Joanna Blake, Devon Hartford, Sabrina Paige, and Dani Wyatt *

Awesome!

I loved The My Rock Romance series.
Tristan & Elly are perfect together and adding in the kids was part of a perfect ending.
One of the best series I’ve read.
I’m checking out more box sets. Hopefully I find more just as good.

How could I not love this series?

From the moment they laid the eyes on each other, Tristan & Elly were hooked. It's a wonderful but difficult path to love. I recommend this book to anyone.

My Rock by Alycia Taylor reads was originally published as an 8 part serial, which seems to be the author's usual style but not my preferred way of reading, so this complete set with the final part 9 added was too good to pass up. Like most teenagers, Elly Rios had a huge crush on the lead singer of a boy band but the band broke up & she continued on with life, as you do. Now, about 6 years later, she's in her last year at college & she reads that her former crush, Tristan Rogers is playing at a local, run-down bar; in a fit of nostalgia she goes to see him perform. Time has not been kind to Tristan, with drug & alcohol abuse taking its toll on the now 28 year old & the set is really bad. Elly has caught Tristan's eye - after all, she's the only decent looking girl in the place & he's used to getting whatever & whomever he wants! They speak briefly, then she rushes off to the toilet & he follows her in for a quick hook-up! The setting might have been disgusting, but their encounter was off-the-charts hot...

Elly has a internship with a reality TV production crew looking for the next "Fresh Voice", with a prize of a cool $1m, a recording contract and a year-long tour with the top contestants. There are hundreds of aspiring stars desperate for a chance & Tristan is one of them! There is a strict non-fraternisation clause in the contracts for crew & performers, so what are Elly & Tristan to do, because they can't stay away from each other.
There are twists & turns, sleazy managers, deadbeat parents, drug rehab, jealous contestants friends, ex-friends plus a lot of sizzling hot scenes. Its definitely not your average rock story, it's a fresh look at the music scene with love in all the right places.

Elly has loved Tristan since she was twelve. He was in a boy band but due to drug abuse it all fell apart for him. Now she finds out that he is playing at a bar near her. So she sets out to see him and gets more than she bargained for when he follows her into the bathroom. The sex is amazing but he is in a bad place and needs to get cleaned up. He joins a contest for singers and finds out that Elly is working for the production company. She tries to ignore him because they could get into trouble for having a relationship. Tristan doesn't know how to trust anyone and when he finally gets into rehab it's Elly that becomes his lifeline. There are a few broken promises and hurt feelings but all in all this is a great story! I absolutely loved reading about their journey!

When I first started reading the first book I didn't really want to finish the book it just seemed to me that Elly was just so easy to do what ever he wanted and had no self-respect. But I'm so glade that I went on reading by the end of the first book was wanting to know what happened and if she could change him and herself. It was a great book and I can't believe almost missed out on a great read. Thank you for all the work you did.

This is the story of Tristan, a down and out singer from a boys band and Elly, a fan of Tristan ' s from age 12. When she goes to see him in a seedy bar, she can't believe how far down he has come. In spite of what she assumes is a one time tryst in the bar's bathroom, fate has grabbed onto these two and following is a long road into their future.

I do love my rockstar stories but this one was different. For one thing, it was really long and at times I thought it was a couple of parts toooo long. However, I persevered and was very pleased at the delightful HEA for these two! I just really hope that talent shows, such as the one depicted here, are not like this!
