I didn't kill my best friend, yet I'm running for my life because they think I did.
Holly McAllister started life as a simple farm girl from Texas. But when her father died, she was moved to New York to live a life of luxury with her mother, stepfather, and twin stepbrothers, Gideon and Gage. Never getting along with the twins, Holly avoided them for most of her life, choosing instead to spend as much time as possible in Texas - several states away.
Now an adult, Holly lives her life in the shadow of her stepbrothers. She is a no-nonense, home town girl, and they became celebrity bounty hunters.
When Holly's best friend is killed, Holly is blamed for the murder. Now on the run, she knows that her stepbrothers, Gideon and Gage, are tracking her, intent to bring her back to New York to force her to face her crime.
A story of bitter feelings turned to undeniable lust, Holly learns what it's like to be hunted by the hottest bounty hunters in the world.
Will they capture her, or will she capture their hearts?
I enjoyed all 3 books, but Olivia Hawthornes editor is absolutely garbage! I can't believe someone would allow a book to be published with so many errors!! There's times when the twins get mixed up.. or just people in general.. you really have to push past the poor editing to find the story. Great books, awful mistakes that never should have made it to print.
I very much enjoyed reading this conclusion to Holly, Gideon, and Gage's adventure. As with the prior two books, passionate scenes ooze off the paged of the story. Once that intensity is married with the ups and downs of finding justice for Holly's ordeal and for securing her future, you get a tale that is hard to put down.
