Refreshing to read a good book of two people falling in love and it be a " between the lines" culmination of deep feelings. It is So much better not having the details of feelings always sensationalized.

Accidental death, jailed, the past unveiled, and new love are just a few of the things Beth faces.
Beth Wilder decided to join her mother and stepfather in Mulder Creek and help out at their new hotel. She did not want to be a burden to them, so she decided to talk to Sheriff Nate Dixon to see if she could work for him. On this day, she was in the kitchen with her best friend Emma when they heard her mother’s angry voice, “Get your hands off of me or I will make you regret it!” Then the sound of a hand across the face.
Beth and Emma stepped out into the dining room to see her mother standing in front of Stewart Barlow, with him holding onto her shoulders, telling her that he would pay her good money. Beth’s mother, Caroline, screamed back, “There is not enough money in the world that would make me lie with you, now get out of my hotel, NOW, and don’t ever come back; you are not welcome here!” The whole scene made Beth so mad that she balled her fist and walked over and hit Barlow in the nose; blood spewed down the front of his shirt. Unknown to all of them, Sheriff Nate Dixon has witnessed the whole thing. Turning and seeing the sheriff, Barlow demanded that Beth be arrested. Nate was surprised seeing Beth hit Barlow but certainly felt that he deserved it. He walked over and told Barlow it was just a little blood and that he should leave now as he was unwelcome here anymore, and the story began.
Join Beth and Nate as they face an accidental death, Beth’s arrest, and the discovery of their love together…
What did I like? From the previous books, you know that Beth will not have an easy time finding the love of her life. Kay has shown us that she certainly knows how to capture the reader’s attention with an exciting and adventurous romantic storyline.
What will you like? Exciting, filled with wild adventures, the unexpected, and, of course, LOVE! The characters are unique and wonderful, the storyline is extremely well written and edited, but the ending will capture your heart. Don’t miss the love story of the final Wilder daughter in the Wilder West series, Kay Dawson’s latest book, “Beth” is available NOW!!!
They run a hotel, and a situation caused Beth to ball up her fist and slug him. for the way he was treating her mother. Not knowing the sheriff Nate was walking in. Barlow father and son were bad news, and lucky the sheriff was always near by. Nate knowing Beth, she was always up to something and most of the time didn’t want to know what. Now she is wanting a job in his office, to get the dirt on the Barlow’s. She is tired of them hurting people. Nate found himself tongue tied, at her suggestion, if he didn’t let her, no telling what she would get into on her own. A plot that takes you back to the days when woman stayed at home, and stayed out of trouble. Beth was an adventure that was delightful to read, and full of humor.
Three sisters and this is the youngest sister who finds love in a small town in 1800's Wyoming at a time when Mail Order Brides were the way men found women to marry. This book is cutely fun and of course, a happy ending is in store for the reader. Beth and Nate are a grand couple and an interesting one. Some interesting twists and turns through the tale are quite nice. I am very glad I read this one after the first one (Everly) and the second (Sarah). Thanks, Kay Dawson for a read that is relaxing and satisfying as a helping of chocolate covered potato chips. (If you've never that chocolate covered potato chips - try some the next time you hit a candy store selling fine chocolates.)
A KPD. Searching for Love Novel (WWSB - 3)/Loving the Sheriff in the Wild West
KPD. has. penned the third western novel of the Wilder West series. A woman needing a job accepts a position working with the town sheriff. At first it's just employment but gradually turns from employment to love. Then the other woman arrives and finds that a spark has been out while she was gone. The other woman attempts to have the young woman for crimes and she did not commit. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
Beth is fiesty. She acts sometimes without thinking of the possibility that there is more than one way for something to end. And that's what makes her interesting.
In this final book, everything comes together but not before someone is killed. Another becomes insane. And Nate finally knows what happened to his mother. We meet his Aunt Jenny who raised him.lots of action in this one.
I felt the ending, while satisfying had way too much gushy, chick-lit, ooey-gooey wording which, for me at least, semi-ruined a great HEA ending.
Beth is the third of the sisters coming to High Ridge / Mulder to be mail order brides. Mate is the local sheriff and does not feel he is worthy of love. Will Hate and Beth ever work their way through all the trials and tribulations that seem to be in their path? I have loved this book as well as the other books in the Wilder West series. You will like it too.
Loved the emotional charged pages! Glad Beth got her story. And some of the moments were hard to read (like the rape attempt - though no details, graphic, etc) , but probably because of the reality of hardships Beth had to overcome, her discovery of the beauty of love (and the feelings she’s had for a while) are so much sweater. Some mystery to solve , some past to overcome, and hearts to discover. Loved it!
This is a wonderful series but Beth may be my favorite story. Beth and Nate's character's are true friends that are fighting their feelings for each other. This story is a true adventure and a fast page turner. I highly recommend you read this book and the others in this series and all titles by Kay🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I have really enjoyed this series of books. They are each one individual and very good love stories with lots of interesting thing happening along the way. I really appreciate that they are clean and well written.
He sent for a mail order wife when he had a women right in front of him
She wanted to help him find out how to put his step father away and almost got put in jail herself. I liked how the story brought her whole family together
This was a cute fun read. The characters were likable. This was the first book in the series that I have read but it stood alone well. It did bring in things that had happened in the previous books.
For being a "sweet" series, I really enjoyed reading it now for a second time. I am very happy I purchased this series including Caroline's diary. I know I'll enjoy it again in the future. Thank you Ms. Dawson
Wow! Lot's of mysteries solved in this tale! My favorite part was how true love was right in front of them, but it took a few difficult situations for them both to realize it! Wonderful way to finish this series/boxset!
I so enjoyed this series and especially the ending in this book that summed everything up. This book is Beth's story and it was worth the wait. I so enjoyed these Wilder women.
The series on the Wilder women was so exciting. You can’t go wrong with reading it!! Each book has their own story to tell even the short one Emma. I hope you all enjoy this series as much as, me!! Happy reading!!
Beth's story is the final installment in the Wilder West series and it doesn't disappoint. My only complaint is there are no more books in this series.
I enjoyed reading this book, it kept my interest to the end. This is the 3rd book in this series but it can be read as a standalone book. That is for a great read!

This is a real good read for someone that likes a good love story. Kay doesn't put in the juicy details of the love affair but she makes up for it in the story line. I really enjoyed this trilogy.
