Shifter Wonderland - terrific set of stories !!!

Christin Lovell "A Beary Merry Christmas"
**** Lora and Stone talk online and finally have a date. He's sick and cancels at the last minute. When they do meet, perfection, he's well, she's his mate, and sexy hotness brings holiday joy.

V. Vaughn "Andre"
**** Nessa meets the grumbly Andre as he walks her home, a then discovers he's in her sister's band. They make beautiful music together. Will she let go and let herself love the bear?

Super sizzling sex with these two, her first time, and wow, is it explosive. Terrific characters I loved right away.

Dani is a waitress and has given up on love and never again will she fall for a musician. Wade is a Polar bear who guards Santa and the North Pole, but is a drummer in his spare time. When he fills in for a friend he finds Dani, his mate. Super hot sexiness, an interesting and fun tale, and terrific characters are all here for our enjoyment. I loved it !

Elle Thorne "Motivation"
*** Bear Jonah is missing his bear Fiona, Falcon shifter, who left him, has returned. She knows right away his bear is M.I.A. and the witches are involved. Twists and turns, confusion, and a shooting, plus the two mates trying to accept each other again. Will he forgive her for leaving him after he finds out why? Great characters and fast moving, action packed story.

Emerald Wright " A Dragon's gift"
*** Dragon shifter Clay hasn't cared about Christmas or anything for awhile. Tess is trying to expand her business decorating homes. It is nearly Christmas and Clay needed his home ready for the holidays. With her Fae blood, she is perfect to be the mate for Clay. story was cute, not too deep, but fun.

"Shifter Wonderland is a collection of 12 BBW Holiday Shifter Romances from USA Today and Best Selling Paranormal Romance Authors. After reading all 12 books in this box set I agree, all of these authors are Best Selling Paranormal Romance Authors. The 12 authors in this book are: Christin Lovell (new to me), V. Vaughn (new to me), Tasha Black (new to me), Charlene Hartnady, Kate Kent (new to me), Lola Kidd, Marie Mason (new to me), Harmony Raines, Ruby Shae, Elle Thorne (new to me), and Emerald Wright. Though most of these authors are new to me I found all their books very good, with the exception of one.

"Yuletide's 'Eve" by Erika Masten started out decent but midway it got confusing and lost me. I am not going to say it is a bad book, somebody use to her work may find it awesome. Me? The best I could give it is 3 stars.

A Beary Merry Christmas by Christin Lovell I found very good. Lora and Stone had met on the internet and had developed a relationship of calling and texting for three months. Now it is time for them to meet in person. Lora is scared of being hurt again because of curvy body, and Stone is a bear shifter and owns a Fitness business, yet he is not sure if Lora will accept his bear. Christin Lovell pulled out all the stops in this book. Definable will read more of this author's work. 5 stars

"A Beary Merry Winter" by Kate Kent was a unique surprise. I loved Zane and Anne, and how she weaved their story. Especially when she added in the magic potions and his sort of weird mother. I could actually picture Zane's mother and her quirkiness.. Yes, I am partial to bear shifters, but I have learned since May (when I got my Kindle Fire) to keep an open mind and your reading possibilities will open new doors. Boy did it and the eyes too. 5 stars

"Shifter Beneath The Mistletoe" by Charlene Hartnady had me in stitches the way she had Jackie and Tyler get through there defenses in order to get beneath the mistletoe so to speak. Jackie is a vet in Sweet Water and Tyler is a wolf shifter and 2 in command in his Wolf Pack from another town. He is on his way to the Winter Carnival when Jackie hits him with her car. How many relationships start this way? Loved it. 5 stars"

"There's Snow Place Like Home by Lola Kidd and we all know Lola knows her stuff. She isn't a Best Selling Author for nothing. Every woman's fantasy is a man wanting them, but two....that is pure heaven. Maya Diaz is a storm chaser and she is stranded in Emerald, Iowa because of miscalculations and the wrong vehicle to travel in blizzard conditions. She meets Dale Wizzard at a store in town and he talks her in to staying at his son's Bed and Breakfast till the storm clears. Oh, did I forget to mention that he has twin sons, Tate and Logan and they are snow leopard shifters? Well Logan and Tate pull out all stops to get her to stay with them because she is the heart to their triad. Will they convince her? Will she stay, or will she go home and continue to chase storms? 5 stars

"Her Holiday Bear" by Marie Mason is one for the books. OMG she had me drooling of Jagger Houston. He is a bear shifter and the sheriff to Riverton, Colorado a shifter town. Ally Stephens moves there hoping to find a shifter to love her and all her curves. After she sets eyes on Jagger nobody else will do. Only Jagger is a loner and his bear is the same. They do not want a mate, or do they? After exchanging panty-melting glances and light flirtations Ally resigns herself to spending another Christmas alone. Oh I will be reading more of her work. She had me wanting more of Jagger. :) 5 stars

"Bear Humbug" by Harmony Raines is a book written the way Harmony only knows to write. She grabs you at the beginning and you will not put it down till your are done. Declan is the Sheriff of Bear Bluff and he and his brothers meet for their usual drink for Christmas. This year they make a pact to find their mates by Christmas. Declan is bah humbugging until her gets back to the Sheriff's department. There waiting on him is his true mate. Maria is seeking help to find her nephew she has been taking care of for 6 months since his parents died in a car crash and Jason has run off. Declan and Maria set off to climb the mountain where Declan is sure Jason is. On this adventure Declan has to get the courage to tell Maria that not only is he a bear shifter, but so is her nephew. Oh what a web Harmony has weaved. Read it to to unravel the web and find out some of what happens to Declan's brothers in the process....then read their books. 5 stars

These are just some of the books in this box set. Trust me when I tell you that the whole set is worth the money to buy it and the time to read them all. I found myself reading and not stopping till 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning because I could not quit reading. You will not be disappointed in this box set. Read it and enjoy a very Merry Christmas SHIFTER STYLE!!!!!!

3.5/5 Stars(RabidReads.com)Every year I try to read a few Christmas paranormal books or novellas. This year I found this new anthology of twelve stories, that I decided to read. I have only read four of them, so keep in mind that, that’s all this review is based on.

A Berry Merry Christmas (BBW Bear Shifter) by Christin Lovell

Lora is a single nurse looking for Mr. Right.She starts talking to a man on a dating website. He owns his own gym, is very fit, and handsome. As for Lora, she’s what is considered a big beautiful woman.She’s human and knows nothing of shifters.Stone is a bear, and already has a thing for Lora without ever meeting her. Of course the sparks fly when they do meet. Sweet love story? Of course. However, I had a couple of problems with this story. First, Lora doesn’t have that big of a problem with the shifter thing. I just wish it was more real in that respect. The other thing was the weight thing. The reader keeps being told about her double chin, her huge globes(rear end) and things of that nature. I just got tired of that part of the story. This ended up sweet and sexy, but not my favorite of the four. 3 Stars.

Andre by V. Vaughn

Nessa is a triplet that is attending college. Her sister that attends a different college comes to visit and has big news. Tory’s now a bear shifter and guess what, the other two have the DNA that can lead them to be one too. Not only that, but she has already found her true mate and is now alpha of her clan. He’s one of a group of four brother polar bears that have moved to the area. Nessa is suitably horrified and wants nothing to do with it. When her other sister(and roommate),Ginny,needs her to sing with her band when the usual singer bails, Nessa meets guitarist, Andre, brother to Tory’s mate, and also a polar bear. He’s quiet, talented,and hot,and immediately has a thing for Nessa. This romance was probably my favorite of all of these. I enjoyed the snarky at times dialogue, and also the realism of Nessa not wanting to be a bear, much less have a relationship with one. There’s also a bad guy featured-always a plus for me. Good romance, and it actually made me wonder about maybe reading more in this series. 4 Stars.

Motivation by Elle Thorne

Fiona is a falcon shifter that broke up years ago with the love of her life, Jonah, a polar bear shifter. When they end up back in each other lives, all the old feelings are rekindled. But the real problem is that due to a curse, Jonah’s bear is gone, and Fiona’s falcon is extremely disgruntled, because Jonah sure isn’t telling her what’s up. Both of them now work for a paranormal unit of government investigators.It’s also a unit that will more than certainly fire Jonah if they find out his bear is gone. This story ended up being a thriller of sorts, due to a group of witches that is trying to get their hands on Fiona, for keeps. Seems Fiona’s got a major secret, and it’s also the reason for her dumping Jonah. I enjoyed the action, the thriller aspect of this story, and of course the romance. This is the only author of the group that I have read before, and I thought this was a good and sexy read. 4 Stars

A Dragon’s Gift by Emerald Wright

Tess has come to an estate to decorate for Christmas. Her employer is Clay, a very rich, very ancient, immortal dragon shifter. He hasn’t had the house decorated for a hundred years due to the death of his last wife on Christmas Day. When Tess suddenly gets attacked(sort of)at her own home, Clay takes her into his home. He does that because he recognizes that Tess has the magic in her that is necessary for her to mate with a dragon shifter. This story was full of world building and it was actually pretty intricate for a short novella. However, that being said, I was disappointed in not getting to see the dragon actually manifest. I was also a bit disappointed about a few plot holes-things that aren’t explained adequately. But the thing that absolutely drove me crazy is, Tess’s dog, Rover. Or is it Grover? His name changed continuously throughout the read-except when he completely disappears from the story. He goes with her to stay at the estate and he’s never mentioned again. I found that strange. I also never really got invested in the romance. 3 Stars.

Not a bad way to spend some time this holiday season!

Logan knows instantly that Maya is his and his brother Tate's mate, now they just need to explain it to Maya, and keep her safe from the storm in the process. Will Maya be able to handle having two mates or will she run the other way?

Her Holiday Bear by Marie Mason:
Sexy shifter romance full of snow and one wonderful rescue. Ally has recently moved to a shifter town as a school teacher, now all she wants for Christmas is to find a handsome shifter to love her and have a family with. Unfortunately the shifter she chooses is not in the market for a mate. Jagger is a bear shifter and town sheriff, he is very much attracted to Ally, but refuses to do anything about it. Will Ally get her Christmas wish in the form of a stubborn but sexy bear shifter?

Bear Humbug by Harmony Raines:
Finding love for the holiday season. Declan is a bear shifter on the hunt for a mate this holiday season. Little Drummer Bear by Ruby Shae – This is a ghost story with a shifter twist. A female wolf shifter has these dreams and she decides to solve the riddle of her dreams and find out who her dream mate is in those dreams.

A Dragon’s Gift by Emerald Wright—What a terrific story about a dragon shifter who is back in his home after 100 years. He is ready to come back to the living after his wife’s death 100 years before. There’s Snow Place Like Home by Lola Kidd –Maya is a storm chaser and in the middle of a unique winter tornado, she stops to gas up her vehicle and meets some delicious and sexy brothers-Logan & Tate. Now these brothers know that she is their mate but getting the sassy chaser to realize that, well that is another storm ready to erupt. I really enjoyed this story .

Beary Merry Winter by Kate Kent---Beautiful story about how Anne wants to have a baby but wants nothing to do with men in order to get pregnant. She is out shopping and comes across a store that makes potions. There is one on pregnancy . So instead of getting her friend a gift, Anne gets one for herself and the pregnancy/baby making. OMG what sensual delights occur when she runs into a guy whom she met earlier named Zane…do they or don’t they. You must read to find out if she lets him and if there is a baby. And if Zane can help Anne overcome her aversion to men.

A Bear Merry Christmas by Christin Lovell

Lora was this beautiful curvy woman. The one thing she wanted for christmas was a man that would love her. She had been texting and chatting with this guy that seemed to be good to be true. Could a man built like him really want a girl with curves like her?

Stone was a handsome bear shifter that owned his own gym. The one thing he wanted in his life was to have someone that was honest and that he could love. The more he texted and talked to Lora the more he wanted her. Can things really work between Lora and Stone? Is Lora his true mate? Will Lora be able to handle meeting the bear?


Andre by V. Vaughn

Loved this story. This is actually a standalone to Tempted by the bear. This is about one of Tori sisters. Vanessa finds out that her sister Tori is now a werebear and that she herself is half werebear. This is something that Vanessa is not sure she wants. It is sort of freaking her out.

Andre how is a polar bear shifter knows the moment he meets Vanessa that she is his true mate. He is one that does not really talk much and I am not certain he truly knows how to put in words of what he if feeling.

I just loved Ginny the other sister of Tori and Vanessa. Ginny is so open minded and so acceptant of what is going on around her. Fate pretty much used her to make sure that Vanessa and Andre got more time together.

Seems that Andre has his work cut out for him. Will he win Vanessa’s heart?


Little Drummer Bear by Ruby Shae

This is such an awesome book. We always think about christmas movies we want to watch over the holidays, but me personally I think about the wonderful christmas stories that authors bring us this time of year.

Wade is a polar bear shifter that is an enforcer for Santa. His job is to keep the the jolly old man safe and make sure no one finds out about Santa’s village. What I also found interesting is that Wade is a drummer in a band.

I guess you can say Santa strikes again. Santa does not only cares about the children of the world but he wants the ones working for him happy as well. Santa arranges for Wade to play with this band that causes Wade to be in the same bar as his mate.

Danica North is this beautiful curvy woman. I hate she has to put up with verbal abuse from one of her co-workers. Danica is very self conscious of her curves. When she sees the Wade staring out her she does not believe he truly wants her. Beside. Danica does not date men who plan in a band.

Wade has his work cut out for him. He must find away to win his mate Danica. He does not only have to obstacles of the fact she does not date me who plan in a band but he has to tell her he his a shifter and works for Santa.


A Dragon’s Gift by Emerald Wright

I have read several books from this author. OMG, just loved the Dragon shifter book. It was awesome.

Clay Emmerick was this lonesome widower dragon shifter. It had to be hard to live so long and see mate after mate die off. I can not imagine going through that heartache over and over. He had even refused to decorate for christmas due to the pain over the memory of his late wife.

Tess was a decorator. She always loved decorating for people this time of year. Now she finds herself decorating for this handsome man name Clay. He is just breathtaking. What she did not realize that her life was about to change.

Clay senses Tess might be in danger. He will do what ever it takes to keep her safe. The more he gets to know her the more he realizes she is destine to be his next wife. How is Tess going to except Clay’s secret of being a Dragon shifter? Who is the one out to hurt Tess?

Some of my favourite authors are in this set, but I've only had time to read 'Andre' so far. I can't wait to read the others.

'Shifter Wonderland' is a boxset of 12 Holiday paranormal romances, and I was given a copy by V. Vaughn in exchange for an honest review of 'Andre', the first book in her new Rocked by the Bear series and her contribution to the set. For various reasons my November has been a disaster, and I haven't had the time to read any of the other stories....yet. But there are stories by some of my favourite authors in this set, as well as a few that are new to me, I'm really looking forward to reading them and then I'll update my review.

1 - A Beary Merry Christmas (Black Fall Bears, Book 3) - Christin Lovell

Triplets Nessa, Ginni and Tori are part grizzly bear, although the only one who knows that is Tori. Polar bear shifters Andre Lindquist and his brothers have been sent to work security at Bowdoin College because a rogue bear clan, the La Verdiers, have been causing a lot of trouble and are a serious danger to the female students. Having spent ten years in bear form to survive, his communication skills are rusty when he meets Nessa on night that Tori is there, and knows Nessa is his true mate. She repeatedly hurts him and fights it all the way, but they have common ground in their shared love of music. A Christmas revelation causes her to re-evaulate what's important and a trip to spend New Year with Tori and Keith also brings a happily ever after for Andre and Nessa.

I absolutely loved this paranormal romance about true mates Andre and Nessa. Andre is really sweet and over the course of the book Nessa starts to see the kind of person she's become and realises it's not really the lifestyle she aspires to that has brought happiness to her mother and stepfather, it's the love they have for each other. Although this book is connected to Called by the Bear and Tempted by the Bear which are serials, this is a complete stand alone story with no cliff-hangers.

If your currently reading V. Vaughn's "Tempted by the Bear" serial, you will recognise Tori in the start of this story. I don't want to give to much away with the storyline... Tori, Ginny & Nessa are triplets & Tori has arrived at their college dorm to let her sisters know of their werebear heritage & update them on what has been happening in her life. This is Nessa's journey at accepting being part bear & all that entails... I LOVED this story.

Ghost of Shifters Past by Tasha Black...
I FLOVE Tasha's "Curse of the Alpha" & "Fate of the Alpha" series & to learn that 'Ghost of Shifters Past' is set at Tarker's Hollow.... made me do the happy dance. I was instantly sucked back into the lives of the citizens of Tarkers Hollow & I LOVED it!! Focusing once again on the shifters in the community, we get to see how the wolves from Copper Creek are handling the move. A night time walk home, Bonnie catches glimpses of shadows, her wolf isn't picking up a scent, after a steamy dream & an encounter with a fox spirit. I will have to leave it there. How I miss Tarker's Hollow, I was LOST in this, the story was rivetting.

I have not read all the stories as time was not on my side. I did read a couple of them though by some really great authors. When I have the time, I will be going back to read more as I like Shifter stories. I have heard of some of the other authors but have never had a chance to read them. So I'm really looking forward to that.

The one story that I will review is the last one by Ms. Wright. I have read other stories by her and was looking forward to this one. It is a great love story and magical awaking story but I feel that she was rushed to finish the story for the deadline. The reason I say that is she left several questions in my mind about the characters both main & household members, plus questions about the past wives and the interaction with Tess.

I will also review the story by Kate Kent - that was HOT!! Was it really magic or their hormones? What will happen when they realize that it's not a magic potion that brought them together? I really liked this story. I have read Ms. Kent's works before and was not disappointed in this love story!

I love anthologies because there are so many new authors that you can discovered all at once. This anthology had one of my favorite authors Charlene Hartnady which was the main reason I chose to read it. But there are also many entertaining short stories by some very good authors. I enjoyed most of the novellas with an exception of a few which were just too raunchy for my taste but most of them have interesting characters and story lines. Of all the shorts, for me the most enjoyable reads were:

A lovely sweet story, book 3 in a series I have not read.
Liked both Stone and Lora and how their HEA came about.

TASHA BLACK - GHOSTS OF SHIFTERS PAST
I have not read all of the Tarkers Hollow series so not sure how this fits but it was a lovely tale with a Native American themed history story plot.
Very intriguing and well written enjoyable story.
CHARLENE HARTNADY - SHIFTER BENEATH THE MISTLETOE
Loved the beginning of this story and the ending. This was an okay story with good characters but I am more used to the Insta knowing someone is your mate rather than this slow fall into like then love.
KATE KENT - BEARY MERRY WINTER
An okay read but I dislike lies and deceit. Anne and Zane really had no relationship build up, spent a couple of weeks together then it was all chaos and I love you. I have read another book by this author that follows after this one which I enjoyed more.
LOLA KIDD - THERE’S SNOW PLACE LIKE HOME
An okay short sweet read but just a bit too quick. Thought Maya was just a bit annoying at times but did like Dale and Logan and their parents were lovely. The epilogue was very good.
MARIE MASON - HER HOLIDAY BEAR – CHRISTMAS AT RIVERTON 1
Okay and enjoyable enough with likeable characters and a good storyline, just not enough depth for me probably due to the shortness. Reasons and emotions too slightly skimmed and not enough talking between these two.
She has chased him for months, he has run away, so when he decides they will become mates she doesn’t even want to know why he has been stand offish.
ERIKA MASTEN - YULETIDE’S EVE
Sorry but I just found this too silly for me. I persevered till the end but wish I hadn’t wasted my time. If you believe in this sort of stuff (myths and legends) then you will enjoy it.
HARMONY RAINES - BEAR HUMBUG
4.5 stars. Another lovely Christmas story.
Damon is a fire fighter who is called out to rescue a child who wanted to make a wish on the star at the top of the town Christmas tree.
Also up the tree keeping the child calm is his aunt Zara, who turns out to be Damon’s mate.
Zara’s brother is stuck at the airport unable to get home for Christmas as the flights are all grounded.
Damon’s crew have the idea to go fetch Logan, so Damon and Zara drive to pick up Logan to save Christmas for Robbie, getting to know each other along the way.
Loved the Christmas tree idea at the end. Magic.
All three brothers find their mates on the same day and the stories all run concurrently to spin off to three different books in this series.
I would love to see the members of Damon’s crew get their HEA’s too.
RUBY SHAE - LITTLE DRUMMER BEAR – NORTH POLE 3
Really enjoyed this very short story, enough that I have grabbed the other three books in KU. I am intrigued with the North Pole and Santa theme, it seems great. I am also intrigued about Joel and Melinda and why they are dancing around each other.
But I really wanted Kira to get hers, what a nasty person.
ELLE THORNE - MOTIVATION - SHIFTERS FOREVER AFTER 3
Not one of the better stories from this author. Just too quick and rushed to do the characters’ justice.
I have read quite a few of this authors early books in this world but have only read book 1 in this series so far and therefore didn't know these characters very well.
EMERALD WRIGHT - A DRAGON’S GIFT
Whilst interesting this just had little substance to it. Why would you just go along with being bride number whatever in this dragon’s long life.
Where was the love, the romance? Sadly lacking. Clay just knew she was his next wife and Tess just falls into line.
Also very annoying is Tess’s dogs name kept changing from Rover to Grover.

A Beary Merry Christmas (Black Fall Bears, Book 3) by Christin Lovell---Lora and Stone met on an online dating site 3 months ago. Tonight would have been their first date but Stone called and said he was sick. The next day he texts her. They arrange for her to go to his gym. She's not sure whether he is really that sick. Will she find Stone is the owner of the gym? Is he as sick as he said?

Andre by V. Vaughn---Nessa waits for her escort. For some reason the women must have an escort after dark and blue lighted phones appeared suddenly everywhere on campus. Her escort isn't very talkative, but he is easy on the eyes. When she gets to the dorm, her other triplets are waiting for her. Tori wants to share the info in person. She partially shifts into a bear and she is mated to a werebear. Ginny finds it amazing and Nessa wants nothing to do with werebears. Ginny's band needs a singer so Nessa agrees to help out. Andre was her security escort and plays the guitar in this band. Is he the one brother to Tori's mate?

Ghost of Shifters Past by Tasha Black---Bonnie came to Tarker's Hollow hopefully to find a husband. She thinks she sees something in the woods, but it was gone too fast. She decides to go into the woods and shortly her wolf gets agitated. There is no scent to follow. It was like it wanted her to follow, but she needed to get to work at the school. After school she decides to follow the shadow again. It leads her to the amphitheater and she decides she is creeped out and as she is leaving one of the shadows says Tokala. Now, she runs. She has a really vivid dream and decides to check out the amphitheater. Her footprints are the only ones there. What is going on? The fox in the dream said Tokala. What or who is Tokala. She finds symbols underneath the bench near the amphitheater. She now has a mission. She will find out what the fox needs.

Shifter Beneath the Mistletoe (A Christmas Novella) by Charlene Hartnady---Jackie makes the mistake of looking down at her radio. When she looks up she sees a bear crossing the road, second mistake, she slams on the brakes and hits it. Since she is a vet she grabs her bag and goes to look at him. It's not a bear. It's a gigantic wolf and as she checks him over, he starts shifting. She read about shifters but she didn't believe they existed. He convinces her to take him to her office to heal. He's looking for a human mate and she would like to have a decent boyfriend or husband. Will she really believe that her body is very beautiful to Tyler?

Beary Merry Winter (Shifter Seasons) by Kate Kent---Anne meets this bear shifter at work. When he asks about rings, she assumes he wants an engagement ring. Then he says it is for his mother. All this time he's been flirting with her. Anne's boyfriend had been sleeping with his landlady all the time that he was dating Anne. Now she has sworn off men and shifters, but Harlan seems to like her. But doesn't know if she can trust his flirting. Anne and a friend are going to a party so they decided to try a new store in town. Serena has vials of baby making potion, which is what Anne wants but not a husband. Will she buy it and use it? Will she see Harlan again?

There's Snow Place Like Home (A Shifters Everafter Holiday Story) by Lola Kidd---Maya is a storm chaser and she is lost. She wants to get a winter tornado on video because they are very rare. The small town she found is completely shut down. She goes to the gas station and bangs on the door until finally someone comes to the door. He convinces her to let his son, Logan, drive her in his truck. Logan knows Maya is his mate but he also knows he has to be careful because she is human. He doesn't want to lose her by distance or her getting hurt. Will she get her video? Will Logan be able to convince her that she's his mate?

Her Holiday Bear by Marie Mason---Ally came to Riverton in hopes that a shifter would mate with her. Her only relatives were very distant cousins. She was drawn to the sheriff but he treated her like every other woman.

Yuletide's Eve by Erica Masten—-Eve doesn't celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas in a town that makes these holidays a big production. Evergreen has a bunch of quirky people. Rina tries to get Eve to go to the carnival but Eve has other plans. Bertha says that Eve will be at the carnival and Rina tells Eve that she will because Bertha is always right. Sometimes Eve doesn't censor what comes out of her mouth. What will happen when she says the wrong thing about Evergreen's beliefs?

Bear Humbug by Harmony Raines—The 3 brothers are unhappy because they are still unmarried. They have decided to look harder for their mates. Maria is waiting for the sheriff. When she decides not to wait any longer, she opens the door and is knocked down by the door opening toward her. Declan catches her before she meets the floor. She thinks he has been drinking because he acts like he has lost some of his marbles. When they start talking about her nephew, Declan says that Jason is at a difficult age. Now Maria realizes that the sheriff is quite good at his job. There is no need for a missing person's report yet. Declan decides to go looking for Jason. Maria insists on going with him. Will Declan find her nephew? Is he alright? Did Maria survive the hike?

Little Drummer Bear (North Pole, Book 3) by Ruby Shae---Wade is Santa's enforcer. He makes sure no one comes too close to Santa's Village. Stuart has an injured band member so Santa is going to let Wade fill in. Danica doesn't date musicians, but Arctic Storm has 4 drop dead gorgeous musicians and she can't stop looking at the drummer. Steph asks if Danica's seen the drummer looking at her? Kira doesn't like Danica so she always has fat comments to make when Danica is within hearing distance. Danica is their waitress tonight. Wade is hoping to have a longer conversation with her but Kira shows up. After a few more “dates”, Danica agrees to being friends (and no benefits). Before long Wade needs to tell her about his bear. He's hoping it goes well, because she loves polar bears.

Motivation (Shifters Forever After) by Elle Thorne---She accepted a dinner invitation from Jonah's relatives. Now when she hears Jonah's voice, she realizes it was a mistake to accept the invitation. She broke up with Jonah for his own good. When her falcon starts shrieking, Fiona is finally able to get the falcon to make sense. Her falcon says that Jonah's bear is gone. That is why Fiona didn't scent him. Jonah has given up trying to find his bear and he really misses him when he can't scent Fiona, his mate. Is there any hope of finding his bear? Will Jonah's feeling allow forgiveness so he and Fiona can mate?


A Dragon's Gift by Emerald Wright---Clay gave in this year and his assistant hired a company to decorate his home for the Christmas party. He watched her decorate and then started to leave when her ladder fell. He was close enough to catch her. Still shaken up, she went outside. She found a pond with goldfish and koi. She has always loved fish and reptiles. She likes snakes and lizards. She had a funny feeling when Mr. Emmerick caught her. Now she has an aura that her dog can see. Clay has ordered a very thorough background check on her. She has fae blood from some ancestor.

There were interesting characters, good and different themes, emotions, suspense and a lot of hot sex. Some had beautiful descriptions and heartwarming dialogs that set the Christmas spirit. Beary Merry Christmas by Christine Lovell
Lora met him online and they were to had a real date and meet in person. She knew his dating profile but it was for real or was he lying to her? She was a very curvy girl and had self-doubts and a history of bad dates. Stone was a bear shifter and he was thinking that at last he had found a woman who met his desires but he got really sick and everything seemed going wrong. Could he go to the date? Interesting, good and sweet characters dealing with self-esteem.

Nessa had werebear blood but she didn’t want to turn in one. Andre knew she was his mate and was decided to wait for her to realize that they were meant to be together. Beautiful way to show their love for each other. Loved the song. I was moved. Good characters and plot.
Ghost of Shifters Past by Tasha Black
Bonnie was researching. Something had happened to the Lenni Lenape. Bonnie was very interested in their story and felt compelled to help in some way. Further she was feeling an attraction to Tokala and knew she must help him and his people before evil came back. Tokala knew Bonnie was his mate and was guiding her toward him. This story was really interesting. Much mystery, magic and suspense with the characters.
Shifter Beneath the Mistletoe by Charlene Hartnady
Jackie was a veterinary and was going to be alone this Christmas but she hit a creature with her car and needed to take care of it. When she recognized the creature as a big wolf and then it changed to a man Christmas season changed for her. Entertaining and sweet. There were some touching moments and the narrations were good. Sensitive male character. Good.

Anne Williamson wanted a baby but not a messy relationship with a possessive and demanding man. While with her friend shopping around she bought a potion for her friend to help her get rich. The potion got mixed up and she got one to have a baby but she got more than that. Zane Harlan met Anne and immediately was attracted to her but he didn’t like to be used so, things looked bad. Another entertaining story with some magic, suspense and hot sex.
There’s Snow Place Like Home by Lola Kidd
Maya Díaz was a curvy storm chaser and while chasing a tornado she got lost. While in a store at downtown Emerald she met some shifters and she got curious them. They wanted to help her because it was not safe for her to be out and alone in the storm so, Logan Wizard, they son, will go with her. But Logan knew she was their mate and his snow leopard was anxious and agitated. He could not wait to tell Tate, his twin brother. They will have their triad after ten years waiting for the third to complete their mating. Maya was conscious of how alone she was and the Wizard boys seemed what she needed. Entertaining story with good characters and a triad. I’m still curious about what happened with Logan and Tate’s parents.
Her Holiday Bear by Marie Mason
Ally Stephens inner desire was that a shifter claimed her as a mate so, she went to work as a teacher to a shifter town. There she met Jagger Houston the sheriff and a bear shifter. She felt for him but he didn’t feel the same. Jagger Houston was very attracted to the curvy schoolteacher but he was a loner and a mate would complicate his life. When things got complicated for him he knew he had to change his mind. Laughed a lot with this story. The descriptions were funny and Ally’s character was a little sassy and self- assurance. Liked the story development.
Yuletide’s Eve by Erika Masten
Eve Alfred the new administrative assistant in Evergreen School seemed to not be getting the holiday spirit. There was magic all around Evergreen and Tristan Desfrey, the social studies teacher, was willing to show her about Evergeen traditions. But she was disrespectful to the Yuletide and the Wild Hunt was demanding a sacrifice. This story was like a fairy tale with suspense, magic and hot sex.
Bear Humbug by Harmony Raines
Declan, the sheriff of Bear Bluff and his two brothers needed to find their mates. Declan’s character was somber. He really was needy and when he met Maria he had hope. She was his mate! She was attracted too but first she had to deal with her nephew and she Declan’s help to find him. Could this be Declan’s opportunity to help her and let her know his secret? Interesting and sweet.
Little Drummer Bear by Ruby Shae
Wade Sullivan was a polar bear shifter, a drummer and an enforcer. When the Artic Storm needed a drummer for a short time they asked Wade and he accepted. While playing in a bar he met Danica North, a curvy woman who didn’t date musicians. She had had bad experiences been a curvy woman and though they interest wasn’t for anything meaningful. But Wade knew she was his mate and he will do everything to had her. When things needed a push, Santa was there to help. Good, sensible and sweet.

A BEARY MERRY CHRISTMAS by Christin Lovell
-Stone had been waiting thirty-five years for his prayers to be answered. He was always told that the right person, the right woman, would be worth the wait. He never believed them. He didn’t believe that one woman, one person, could erase a lifetime of longing, a lifetime of loneliness. But she did, she came in a small bundle of curves.
-Lora never thought she would meet her dream man, especially that she was extra curvy. But Christmas is a time for miracles, and all she wanted was HIM.
-This was a sweet combination of a shifter/Christmas story. The storyline was enjoyable and I loved the characters.


SHIFTER BENEATH THE MISTLETOE by Charlene Hartnady
-Jackie was staying in Sweetwater over Christmas, as she has to work over the festive period. On her way to work she hits a furry beast. But what she finds is not what she expects.
-Tyler is on his way to Sweetwater. It’s Christmas Eve and the night of the Christmas Festival. More importantly, it’s his turn to find a mate. On the way his hit by a car. He doesn't count on finding his mate in the most unexpected place
-This story was entertaining and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the characters, they were really sweet.


BERRY MERRY WINTER by Kate Kent
-Anne Williamson is tired of being lonely and decides she wants a baby. As she is not interested in a relationship, running into sexy Zane works to her advantage. As he is a the playboy type he would make the perfect donor.
-Zane Harlan is a bear shifter and when he runs into the beautiful curvy Anne at a jewellery store, his animal wants her. So when his invited to an ugly Christmas sweater party by her best friend, he accepts. When Zane sees Anne he knows exactly what he wants. But he doesn't realise she has an agenda of her own.
-A nice little shifter story. I liked the story and the characters but it felt a little rushed at times.


THERE'S SNOWPLACE LIKE HOME by Lola Kidd
-Storm chaser Maya Diaz finds herself unexpectedly stranded in a small town, when the storm she's chasing changes its path. When she meets snow leopard shifter twins, she wonders if in fact the storm took her tothe exact right place.
-This was a very enjoyable read. Nice, lighthearted read with a touch of spice.


HER HOLIDAY BEAR by Marie Mason
-Ally Stephens had seen an ad on line for an elementary schoolteacher in Riverton. It was a known shifter town, and it called to her. She was lonely and she wanted a big shifter for herself. A mate to call her own.
-Bear shifter and Sheriff Jagger Houston was a loner by nature, both as a man and a bear. He didn’t want love or a mate, until the curvy chocolate-haired schoolteacher moves into his town and things start to change. It still doesn't change the fact that neither him or his bear want to be tied down with a mate, or do they.
-I loved this book. It was entertaining and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish!


LITTLE DRUMMER BEAR by Ruby Shae
-Wade Sullivan is a polar bear shifter and an enforcer in Santa's Village at the North Pole. When his not protecting, his drumming in the local band. When a friend asks a favor, he finds himself playing for a much larger crowd in a popular bar. The moment his eyes land on curvy, plus-size Danica, nothing else matters. His found his mate.
-Danica North has sworn off men who play in bands. She's been there, been hurt and definitely not going back a second time. As a waitress, she encounters lots of musicians and bands, but no one in two years has caught her eye, until now. Even though wade the drummer is sinfully sexy, his off-limits. Or is he? Can she learn to trust him enough to change her rules, or will they both suffer the loneliness at Christmas.
-This was a cute little Christmas story. Really sweet but really romantic. A cheerful read!

All of these books have Christmas and love and finding mates involved. If you enjoy shifters , especially bear shifters and oh even dragons then grab this book bundle I am sure it has something to fit your paranormal taste. I am leaving review for a few.

Lola is getting ready to go out on a date with a guy she met on a dating site. Lola is not a skinny woman she has curves and getting dressed for this date is driving her bonkers. She doesn't know what to do wear. All she knows about him is that he owns a gym or so he says and he is gorgeous. Well she also now knows disappointment when he cancels saying he is sick. Being a nurse Lola does hope he is ok. Well Stone is not giving up but right now he has to follow doctors orders although him and his bear are ancy. Thing is will Lola still want him when he is better?
Cute story here and you will have to read it to see if the Bear gets his woman.

But Eric wants Nessa and she knows he would be the safe choice but her brain and other parts are wanting Andre. But he is a broody guitar playing were bear. Vanessa is already dealing with the fact that she is a half-breed. Her sister has already done the change but Vanessa is fighting it. Can Andre and Vanessa make beautiful music together and more? Well read and find out. All I know is I would like to read more of these bear shifters from this author.


Ghost of Shifters Past byTasha Black
This was a sweet and sexy wolf shifter story. Bonnie is tired of being alone but there doesn't seem to be much left in the male pool. She is new in town and hadn't really came across anyone her wolf wanted until she meets a fox and although much smaller than her wolf the man / fox is one she and her wolf can agree on. Or did she actually see him? Bonnie has no idea what is going on with her mind and the dreams. Until....


Shifter Beneath the Mistletoe by Charlene Hartnady
Tyler is one bold werewolf and when he decides he is going to find his mate he runs right into a car? Jackie was not paying attention while driving and with the snow she didn't see him until it was to late. Now she has him at her vet clinic and although he is hurt she can't help but want him.
Tyler’s words cause all kinds of things to stir inside Jackie. This was a very hot sexy short read.


Beary Merry Winter by Kate Kent
Bearshifter Zane walks into a jewelry store and finds his mate. Anne is human but knows all about the shifters but Zane well he catches her eye.
This was a sexy , hot , short read and was quite comical also.

There's Snow Place Like Home by Lola Kidd
This is a very sexy shifter book m/m/f. Maya is one lucky human to get shifter snow leopard brothers as her mate. But will she want them?

I have to say, I was very excited to read this, being that it is my first book from Ms. Kidd, it was a great read with her writings just flowing right through each page. That being said you know I had to read it all, never stopping till the end.
Maya Diaz is a storm chaser taking pictures and videos selling them to make a living.
But today she was trying to make it to Combes, Iowa in this snow getting lost was not a good idea. This was her dream, her passion, chasing a winter tornado and getting pictures and video of it. Ending up at Emerald, Iowa was not what she wanted but getting gas, check her data and a snack was good for her.
Logan and Tate Wizard were twin Snow Leopard Shifters, they did everything together and I mean everything. Logan took his mom to his dad's gas station that's when he saw her, smelled her holy cow she my Mate!! He can wait to tell Tate he is going to be so excited they finally get to make there Triad.

Shifter Wonderland is a limited edition story bundle from many popular Paranormal Romance authors. Each story is complete in itself, but to be honest many are the second or third in a series or trilogy. I’ve looked up author websites for information about those particular “part of” something else stories and for the most part discovered that they will be released in a single story format after the beginning of January 2016.. again because this bundle is a limited edition only available until the end of December 2015. So let’s be realistic – you could buy this bundle for about one dollar right now, or spend that much (or more) for the single stories when they are released later on… cost wise, this bundle is the better bargain. Besides, you just might discover some new to you authors that you’ll want to start following their work as well.

I think you see my point about each story is complete within the story told in this bundle, but some do have connections with other series or trilogies. (Whenever I purchase a bundle like this one I Google each author – author name then enter – but you knew that, right? :) That way I can see if the story within a bundle is connected and I can find the rest of them, if I want to read more of that particular series)

Overall, I enjoyed each story within Shifter Wonderland. I specifically purchased this in order to read the final brother’s story in Harmony Raines’ Christmas Bear Brothers trilogy and got eleven other stories to enjoy as well. :)

Yes, there were some stories that I absolutely loved. Some that I liked enough to take note of the series to go check out more. And, honestly, one that was “meh” for me… no, not saying which one ‘cos that would be unfair but is the resulting 4.5 star actual rating that I gave this bundle for my blog… in fairness, and because of GoodReads and the Amazon rating systems I will up this to a 5 star review on those sites.

If you love shifters of any type then you will be delighted by the variety of hot sexy shifters and their mates in Shifter Wonderland. I would definitely recommend it.

What a great set of shifter stories by authors I know and new ones to me. Here are reviews of the stories I've read so far, all were amazing!

A Beary Merry Christmas - Lora meets Stone online and they hit it off but their first date gets canceled. When they finally meet sparks fly. Stone thinks she's not his true mate but he'll take her has his mate anyway he can.

Andre - Nessa find out that her real father was a shifter but wants nothing to do with that but fate has other plans for her. When she fills in on her sisters band she meets Andre and doesn't want to accept that he's her true mate. Will she give in to her feelings and find her happily ever after with him?

Ghost of Shifters Past - We revisit Tarkers Hallow in this book. Bonnie is a newcomer to the town but is given a warm welcome by the pack and is starting to make friends. She's meeting men but not finding anyone who she wants to be with until she meets a spirit from the past. With the help of her new friends she sets to help and if she's lucky get to keep him.

Shifter Beneath the Mistletoe - Tyler is trying to escape his packmates during their visit to town and doesn't watch where's he's running and gets hit by Jackie one of the local veterinarians. When he shifts in front of her the attraction is instant. What happens when they spend time alone, after delivering an unexpected litter, in the vet clinic and will Jackie take a chance on the man under the mistletoe?

Beary Merry Winter - Anne wants nothing to do with men except to help her make a baby. When looking for a gift for a party she and a friend are going to they wander into a store that sells potions and one is for baby making. When she finds that in the shopping bag instead of the get rich one for her friend does she dare try it? That night at the party she runs into Zane who she met earlier and nature takes it course. Will Zane be able to make her forget that she hates men or is it only a baby she wants from him?

There's Snow Place Like Home - Maya is a storm chaser and while going after the rare winter tornado she stops for gas and directions and meets a couple sexy brothers. Logan knows when he sees Maya that she's his and Tate's mate but now to make her believe that she is without scaring her away. Christmas this year will give Maya more then she ever imagined.

Her Holiday Bear - Ally moves to Riverton to find a shifter to love and who'll love her. Jagger is a loner bear who doesn't think a mate is for him but he wants Ally though won't admit it. Ally only wants Jagger and hopefully she'll get her bear this Christmas.

This is part of a really great series I have been reading (Tempted by the Bear) look for it, you will love it.
Nessa is 1 in a set of triples and just found out she is of werebear blood. Plus there are a few were bears that have moved into their college. One has gotten her attention. Andre! He knows she is his true mate. What a sweet romance story. I just loved it.

Ghost of shifters past by Tasha Black
We are in Tarker's hollow for this story. Bonnie Summers is new wolf shifter in town and Cressida has taken it apon herself to find Bonnie a guy. Only Bonnie has been dreaming of a fox shifter his name is Tokala and she has to help him and his people. Only then she wakes up and it was a dream until she starts seeing clues in the past does she put two and two together
Great story I love seeing old friends form past books, poor max he never gets to keep the girl! It's great how much mystery and magic Tasha Black toss into her shifter stories. If you want to walk on the wild side try her tarker's hollow series it's STEAMY!

Yuletide eve by Erika Master
Eve moved to a new town. Tristan asked her out on a date to the yuletide party but she doesn't believe in all the little things like santa, faerie, and the wild hunt. yea that gets her and her date into some big trouble!

Polar bear shifter Jonah is an agent for unit of inter force his ex is Fiona a falcon shifter. Jonah has a big problem right now like what has happened to his bear! It's gone. How is he to keep his job? When he us shot on the job and can't shift. Fiona trades herself to the witch who took Jonah's bear
Great twists on this one and I love the characters. Elle Thorne us great.

There's snow place like home by Lola kidd
Maya is a storm chaser, on one trip close to chrismas she gets lost and ends up at a gas station asking for directions. Dale was talking her into staying when his wife and very grown and hansome son comes in.
Logan took on look and knew she was his and his twins mate.
Wow fun story what a great gift for Christmas a mate or two.

Little Drummer Bear by Ruby Shae (4.5 *'s)

First I want to thank Ruby Shae for allowing me a copy of this anthology to read and review her story, Little Drummer Bear, honestly. (I plan to read the others as well in the future. I mean it's shifters... what's not to love?)

Now, let's get an overview here. Little Drummer Bear is the third book in the "North Pole" Novella Series. This is a stand alone story (Though, for me I always like to read an entire series in order. It helps me to know all the characters I may come across in the future works.) The North Pole novellas are all about Santa and the Polar Bears (and other creatures) that protect Santa's village. I for one am a lover of bear shifters. So Ruby's books are right up my alley. And when I came across this series last December I was ecstatic. Both Jingle Bear and Silent Bear are awesome, hot reads.

This novella, as with the ones prior hit the nail on the head. We get to meet Wade. A big arse, 30 something polar bear who likes to work, eat and play the drums in his spare time. He's a hard worker. As one of Santa's protectors he'd have to be. But when Santa and the wolves need his help with a special assignment he's all in. The wolves drummer is out with a broken arm so now it's up to Wade to cross over and do something to help.

What Wade doesn't know (then) is that Santa (who is a sneaky little man) and there is more to the assignment than meets the eye. Wade learns that the moment his eyes land on Danika North. Not only is she a beautiful woman but she sugar cookie on his plate. Danika notices the band, Wade in particular but she has sworn off rockers. Cause she's been hurt in the past. Not just hurt crushed. So Wade has some work to do. Good thing he's up to the challenge. After a single date of coffee and dessert he knows he will do anything he can to make this easy on her. He has to prove to Dani that he is not her ex... he wouldn't use her and treat her bad.

This is a story or discovery and love. One that has a happy ending after the hardships of the past are pushed aside.

And, I agree with Dani. Polar Bears are cute. They're big and fluffy! (Dreamy sigh)

I love these sets for providing days of great reading at such a low price. There are some of my favorite authors included as well as some new ones as well.

A Beary Merry Christmas by Christin Love was a new author to me. I love the story of these two lonely people finding each other online. They have waited a long time for the right one and it almost passes them by due to a misunderstanding.

Andre by V. Vaughn is a favorite author of mine. A woman devoted to studies is surprised by her attraction to someone who is not what he seems.

Ghost of Shifters Past by Tasha Black is a ghost story. A female wolf shifter is determined to solve the mystery of her dream mate

Shifter Beneath the Mistletoe by Charlene Hartnady is another story of unexpected love. With a not so great romantic history, it is hard for her to trust in a man again.

Beary Merry Winter by Kate Kent is another favorite author with a theme of distrust due to the past. Playing with someone can lead to danger.

There’s Snow Place Like Home by Lola Kidd is a favorite author. I love menage and two brothers intend to keep their mate once they find her.
I wouldn't resist hard.

Her Holiday Bear by Marie Mason is great and this time it is the male shifter reluctant to pursue his mate due to his past until danger wakes him up.

Yuletide’s Eve by Erika Masten keeps you guessing. Lots of interesting twists and action make for an exciting read.

Bear Humbug by Harmony Raines is another favorite author and a surprise meeting changes this shifters opinion of Christmas.

Little Drummer Bear by Ruby Shae is where Santa helps the couple get together. A sweet Christmas story

Motivation by Elle Thorne are mates who should be together but have been kept apart. Now brought together by a case, they have a chance at forever.

A Dragon’s Gift by Emerald Wright features a dragon shifter meeting his mate.

It is a solid collection of stories for anyone that loves paranormal romances. Some stories are more holiday oriented than others but love at this time of year is always in season

I received this book for an honest review and loved it so much I ordered it so I would have an copy for myself to read in the final form. Let me tell you if you like shifters you will love this book and throw in the fact that it is based around the holiday...HELLO!!!
All of my favorite authors have novellas in this book and not one was a book I had read before so this Holiday Romance collection is slam dunk of HOTNESS!


Beary Merry Christmas by Christin Lovell We get to meet sweet BBW Lora a nurse who meets Stone on a online dating service. After visiting on line for a while they plan to meet and he texts before the date canceling saying he is sick. Lora thinks maybe he really was not sick..... BUT maybe he was.

Andre by V. Vaughn This is the second book in a series but you are not lost if you did not read book one (i had not). Triplet sisters find out they are part werebears. Nesse is drawn Andre but will she or won't she go to her Bear side?

Ghost of Shifters Past - Tasha Black This is one of my favorite in this collection and not because I love everything Tasha Black writes but because it is so different from what everyone else has written,
This takes place in Tarker's Hollow. There is a new wolf shifter in town, Bonnie Summers who also happens to work in the local library. She doesn't date much never, has felt a connection to anyone. One night as she is walking home she sees shadows in the trees and goes to follow them. What happens is amazing. And becomes what makes this my favor novella I have read so far.

Shifter Beneath the Mistletoe - Charlene Hartnady This story had me laughing so hard and also was hot at the same time. Vet on call during the holiday hits a wolf....only the wolf turns into one HOT naked as can be man in front of her eyes. Injured she takes him back to her practice to help him heal. AND Oh how does it go.

This is just a few of the novellas in the collection there are so many more and they are all so good, Grab a copy and read read read.

I chose to read Ghosts of Shifters Past by Tasha Black as my story to review before publication. I plan to go back and read the rest of the stories in this anthology at a later date.


This story was downright beautiful. I have no previous experience with Tasha Black, as I have never read any of her work before, but if this is an example of her storytelling, then she just gained a fan in me.


Bonnie is a wolf shifter from a tiny town, and has just moved to Tarker’s Hollow, where she works as a librarian. Tarker’s Hollow is a far cry from a large town, but compared to her home of Copper Creek, it is a bustling college town metropolis. She has friends there, but still feels terribly alone in this new overwhelming place.


One day she indulges her wolf by chasing a shadow through the forest, and finds an amphitheater out in the woods. The shadow leads her on a chase to this place, and when they arrive she becomes frightened, because it’s obvious that the shadow is not just a shadow, it’s intelligent...it’s a ghost. She runs for home, but that night she dreams of the shadow that is not a shadow….the shadow that is a fox….and a man. Their encounter was enough to convince her that this was no dream. This ghost was, and somehow is, her mate. She starts making inquires about the Natives of the area, and soon uncovers the tragic history of the local tribe. But that is only the tip of the iceberg, and Bonnie is soon desperately trying to release her mate and his people from the curse that has held them for so long.

This story hits all the right notes with me. It was lyrical and moving - hell, I actually shed a tear, and that very rarely happens to me when reading. Mark me as thoroughly impressed.

Ok...another Christmas box set. Again, I'll explain I bought this because certain couple of authors PLUS it was part of a release party thingy. I dislike box sets with multiple authors because honestly they aren't very good stories most of the time. Endings in cliffhangers or arent the first in a series or have really bad typos. No, not trying to be a scrooge lol just I've learned over time that box sets arent worth it...even for .99. Just me though....moving on. I did read some of these and honestly they arent really worth mentioning because I've read better stories by said authors. 2 that DO stand out are Little Drummer Bear by Ruby Shae and A Dragon's Gift by Emerald Wright. Whats weird is never heard of Emerald Wright. Only bad thing about her story is its kinda sad at the end...dont worry she doesnt die or anything yet. I mean this poor dragon lives for eons but loses mate after mate? Ugh really? Its Christmas damn it! You'd think that circumstances with her special blood would have made it to where she survives along with him. Thats the only thing I didnt like. Also, there are zero love scenes but obviously they do the deed. Well...I actually think they might have had a tiny moment but I cant remember lol. Little Drummer Bear was cute and part of her North Pole series. I felt bad for Dani but I was sorta getting annoyed with her negativity where men were concerned and her low self esteem. Yah what happened to her was really bad but come on thats 2 years ago and time to get over it and give Wade a chance. Ok...so the story wasn't perfect but I did like it when she finally got her stuff together. Wade was soooo patient with her even when she didnt trust him...eek. Kind of a short box set when it comes to sets but hey I still dislike them. Ah well a lot liked it so mines just one opinion/review.

This review is for Ruby Shae's Little Drummer Bear

I just love holiday themed stories and I LOVE Ruby Shae's bears! I've been a huge fan of hers since I discovered her Bear Canyon Brides series! Yummm... I love me some Trent! :) Well guess what? I now love me a sexy polar bear shifter! Wade is an enforcer for Santa up at the North Pole (ADORE this storyline) He also happens to be a drummer on the side. He's lonely, his friends are finding their mates and even though he's happy for them he's wishing for his own. But he knows that unless he ventures out from the North Pole, the likelihood of ever finding her is slim. Well, fate or maybe some Christmas magic intervenes and he lands a temporary gig in a band that is playing outside of the North Pole.

Dani is a waitress at the bar that Wade's band is playing at. Her last boyfriend (who was also played in a band) was a ginormous asshat and she's sworn off from ever dating musicians. But one look at Wade and she's wanting to change her mind!

Wade knows immediately that Dani is his mate. I love how he doesn't force the issue of his attraction, instead he becomes her friend first. He is patient and sweet and as their attraction grows into love, Dani's heart is slowly healed. The relationship may start as a slow burn but when they finally admit their love and come together? Mmmm.... *fans face* Wade has a bit of a naughty side!

I just found out that this is actually book 3 in Ruby's North Pole series but it can easily be read as a stand alone. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I immediately purchased the first two and have them ready to go on my kindle!

Full of sweetness, passion and a dash of Santa's magic, Little Drummer Bear is an awesome holiday read that I highly recommend!

Wow the story lines in this collection is amazing!. You will find stories by some very Awesome Author's! such as Ruby Shae, Tasha Black, V. Vaughn, Elle Thorne just to name the same.
" Andre" By V. Vaughn is so fantastic once you read this story you will want to check out her series " Call by the Bear" and " Tempted by the Bear" as each series interlocks with this story. They are amazing with suspense,action,mystery,humor and steamy hot Romance!.
"Little Drummer Boy" by Ruby Shae is amazing. Oh this is such a sweet and touching Romance!. Dani had been hurt by a musician before so now she has sworn off any guy who is one. Wade is a Polar Bear shifter who's hobby was being a drummer plus he works security for Santa in the North pole. When he fills in for a Drummer in a band playing at the club Dani works at he knows he has found his mate! But can he get her to give him a chance!.
"Ghosts of Christmas past" by Tasha Black is very Unique. It is mysterious, Sweet and touching. Bonnie a she-wolf Librarian figures she will be spending her Christmas alone till she runs across an old mystery and sees a dark figure in the woods, soon she is having sexy dreams of a fox shifter. you will love this mysterious Romance.
"Motivation" by Elle Thorne is so suspenseful, and steamy hot!. Polar Bear shifter Jonah was having a rough time when his bear has disappeared. Then his ex. Fiona a Falcon shifter/ witch shows back up on the scene. Fiona has never stopped loving Jonah but when she found out she was a witch she knew they could not be together. Not she has been made his boss at InterForce!. Wow you will love this steamy hot Suspenseful and amazing story!.
This is truly an incredible collection that you must read!
