About the author

G.R. Lyons stumbled into writing as a form of trauma recovery when traditional therapy wasn't working.

Then the story ideas just kept on coming.

Pulling from a vivid imagination as well as real-life experience as a trans man, a sexual assault survivor, and a person living with mental illness, Lyons has written multiple, interconnected series set within his fictional world of the Shifting Isles.

When not writing, Lyons can be found belly dancing around the house, studying anarcho-capitalist philosophy, buried in his never-ending TBR pile, or working out at the local CrossFit gym.

Wow..I don't know where to start except to say Brilliant. This series is absolutely FANTASTIC to say the least. Brilliantly written by an amazing author the characters drag you into the story. An adventure F/M romance with paranormal entwined in the story. I loved the characters, you'll have questions throughout the story which will be answered by the ending. And always with this fab author you'll expect a few surprises along the way.  I'd highly recommend reading this series in order so you know how the characters fit in.

Dr Graeden Crawford works busy at the hospital with little time for anything else. Grandpa Benash is elderly and getting on he still sees Vorena she keeps company with him. Although no one can see her..lol. Saira, Graeden mother told to him his grandpa wont be around forever. The Gateway land will be in limbo without an owner.
When a letter arrives from the hospitals owner for assistance on Tanas for medical staff. He gives it thought.
Why does Graeden disappear for hours to Mrs Newar? Who is she?
Whats the connection to patient Lorel Suleta?
Graeden leaves for Tanas with three others despite his grandpa dia warnings.
Graeden and the team will leave not knowing what there about to get into. Highly recommended .
