While having conversations with is deceased grandfather, Nolan Lydolph knew he was different. This even made his parents question his sanity at times. This resulted in the thirst of the paranormal. The thirst was quenched while taking a ghost tour while on vacation in Branson Missouri when something sinister followed him home. After facing the ultimate evil alone, the family turns to Wesley and Melissa Fox of Branson Paranormal. The investigators must race against time to stop the darkness from surrounding Nolan and tearing his family apart. After a blessing was performed of the house, the entity retaliated on Nolan, trying to take his humanity. Soon the last confrontation of good versus evil will take place, with Nolan’s soul being held hostage by the Demonic hierarchy
A young man (Nolan) has always been able to see spirits even when he was little, but when him and his family go on a paranormal ghost tour in Branson, Missouri, something attaches itself to Nolan and he brings it home. The ghost tour is hosted by the author of this book as they run a paranormal society and when that "something" goes on a rampage through the home, Wesley Fox along with his wife become involved in trying to help Nolan and his family out with a demonic entity that has invaded their home.
This story is fast paced and everything that the family goes through starts out slow at first as months go by with little to no activity, but then things will start to heat up and more things start happening to the point where Wesley Fox has to bring in a friend who is a demonologist to help out the family.
There were some grammar errors throughout the story, but not enough to keep me from reading the book as I wanted to find out what happened with Nolan as the demon attached itself to him. Things would happen to the mother (Jacque), however the father (Dennis) was not only in complete denial of the situation as nothing ever happened to him but he wanted to analyze everything. He changes his tune though near the end of the book.
There are a lot of different happenings in this book that include: growls, whispers, shadows, heavy atmosphere, knockings, the mother (Jacque and Nolan) getting scratched, etc.
I have read two other true paranormal books by this author which were very good. Giving this one four stars.
Excellent and terrifying true haunting/paranormal/demonic possession story. Very well written and delivered by the author. Almost feel you are there as the descriptive writing is so vivid. Not generic and stale like other books of this genre.
