"Scary" is a stretch. Most of the stories involve some sort of mystery or 'darkness', but they're pretty lame, especially compared to some of Disney's better ghost stories. It was nice to see the familiar characters, and the book itself is pretty with silver-edged pages. The Christmas collection was much better.

These are not "scary" stories. They do include all of the villains of the stories, but are not frightening for young children. We have read these as bedtime stories. IV particularly likes the one with Cruella (his favorite villain). If your child likes a variety of Disney this is the book for them!

Cute and nicely illustrated. We used these as bedtime stories in October, one every night leading up to Halloween. I enjoyed the variety of stories all in one book. The stories aren't really scary, but scary enough for little kids. The Table of Contents at the beginning was nice for teaching my little one how to find the stories he wanted.

This was a nice collection of stories. I always love to see what happens to characters on different days of the year. Not my favorite but it was nice to see characters i haven't seen in a while like fox and the hound, 101 Dalmatians and many others. If your a Disney fan this is a must read.
